LMAO. Warren Sapp asked Carrie what her football team is, and she was struggling a bit to come up with an answer, Rich Eisen intercepted her and said Ottawa Senators.

Congrats on the great seats!! That NFL press conference was FUNNY! Carrie and Queen singing Pant's on the Ground. HA! Carrie is rooting for the Saints cause Sean Payton went to a concert...lol Edit: I should also mention that she is working on a fall leg of her tour now.

I hope we get video of that press conf soon. I don't have the nfl network and am super bummed. Plus trying to deal with pre-sale at the same time wasn't fun.
All in all, I manage to get 3 seats in Garden.
As for that pool seat, killer! I think it's easier if you only select 1 seat though.

Awesome, thanks so much for the videos Jeff... it's obvious that a Dallas Cowboys mention had to come up at some point... Queen Latifah is sooooo nice and complimentary of Carrie that I felt a lil bad that Carrie didn't really say anything back... I felt she was a bit too shy, but I think she is quite shy around other celebs, not really a hugger...
not a bad thing at all... I like ppl that aren't touchy and invade other ppl's space and I feel Carrie does that on purpose out of respect for others!!

I wonder if Carrie will attend the Hip Hop concert for Haiti that Queen Latifah invited her to? Maybe T-Pain will be there. lol

Carrie blogged at the FC. The entry is about her role in Soul Surfer and why she chose to pursue it.

For those on here who use CF, is it currently down? I'm getting weird error messages when I try to visit the site.

Has Carrie been interested in doing other forms of music? I was watching the Grammys, and when I saw her perform, I thought her voice could fit another genre other than country. She's pretty powerful. I want to hear her sing an Aretha song. I know. This comment was quite random. lol But I was shocked.

I want her to branch out. She even nailed her part on that charity single Just Stand Up.

Can someone summarize what she said in the fan club entry as to why she chose the role?

Ugh. No auto-tune mess! Carrie should do something in the lines of classic soul. The bish blew my wig off. I'm glad she dragged Po Bice on AI.

Can someone summarize what she said in the fan club entry as to why she chose the role? She mentions this [paraphrased]: The story of Bethany Hamilton is one of great faith and perseverance, and it will serve as an inspiration to many. Thus, I had to take part in it. Ugh. No auto-tune mess! Carrie should do something in the lines of classic soul. The bish blew my wig off. I'm glad she dragged Po Bice on AI. at Po Bice. Also, I would get over the auto-tune because it would encourage her to at last try out other styles.

^ Mike, she basically said she had turned down other scripts in the past because she was too busy, but when she heard about this story, she couldn't turn it down because it was so inspiring. She sounded really excited, and apparently, films next week. I can't recall what else she said. I am sure US Weekly and People will have it by tomorrow. lol Annual Clive Davis People Mag Grammy Dream Team Picture:This year's picture in People Mag is even cooler as it has the Black Eyed Peas and Bon Jovi in it! :) Naturally, Carrie is sitting front row, chatting with Harry Connick Jr over Clive's shoulder. lol Obviously my scans separated the photo in two, down the middle of the page in People mag. but if you piece the two pages together, you can see Carrie chatting with Harry Connick Jr. :)

That's why I want her to work with T-Pain so badly. I want her to branch out. She even nailed her part on that charity single Just Stand Up. you must really want her to branch out badly enough to consider her working with a 2nd rate artist like T-pain. it's not as if she doesn't branch out. how many other country singers in the past 5 years have performed covers of non country songs at as many high profile events as Carrie? Ugh. No auto-tune mess! Carrie should do something in the lines of classic soul. The bish blew my wig off. I'm glad she dragged Po Bice on AI. Classic soul sounds like a great idea

I'm thrilled that T-Pain has such an admiration towards Carrie, but to be honest it's just not a collaboration I would be all that excited about.

She even nailed her part on that charity single Just Stand Up. you must really want her to branch out badly enough to consider her working with a 2nd rate artist like T-pain. theres so much more better artists out there for carrie in terms of doing collaboartions. personally, i wanna see her collaborate with alicia keys. with guys, rob thomas, michael buble or justin - his collab with reba was very beautiful. if he can do something like that with carrie that would be awesome. if it really had to be rap, get someone like jayz or kanye. t-pain would do her no good - he needs carrie more than carrie needs him.

Vince Gill is producing LeAnn Rimes' next album -- covers of love songs originally sung by guys. I'm kinda jealous. I would have wanted Carrie to be the one doing that with Vince! :)
My wishlist Carrie collaborations: - Crossroads with Rob Thomas/ Matchbox 20 OR Pink - Alison Krauss-produced album - Matraca Berg-written song - ... and more
But I definitely don't have T-Pain on my list.
(Vinman, I'll PM you :) )

- Alison Krauss-produced album oooh, that sounds amazing. my dream producer for carrie is rick rubin - ala the chicks' taking the long way. but alison would be a great one too.
