How is it a joke ? It was the biggest selling album, that's what the public deemed the most popular, no ? ??? The Grammys are supposed to award quality, not popularity. But how do you define *quality* in a way that's not biased ? Popularity reflects quality, it's the only fair way to define what's good. You might not think Taylor Swift's album is quality but millions of people did. |

So happy for Taylor. All four of her awards were deserved, in my opinion. I still think it's funny how people all of a sudden hate the Grammys when the biggest selling album wins album of the year.

You people. Fearless wasn't just a big seller. Critics also loved it. Again it's rated higher then The Fame by critics(the album alot of you wanted to win)...so???

I predicted all bif categories, wow! What a joke AOTY is. What worries me is that TS might be no 1 on B200 next week. How is it a joke ? It was the biggest selling album, that's what the public deemed the most popular, no ? ??? Not to mention it was received well critically! I remember saying a bunch of people would come out of the woodwork and claim the show had lost credibility or act as if it had if she one of the big awards and it looks like I was right! The hate makes her victory that much more sweet.  |

Everyone doesn't have equal playing ground. Some people have labels and $$$ to back them up. Milli Vanilli is a good example of that. Good? Sure. Fake? Definitely. They were exposed for it but nobody knew it until it was too late. Quality and popularity are both VERY different and are barely correlated in any way. However, defining quality in a way not biased is pretty hard to do as well since different people value different things. |

So happy for Taylor!!! IT WAS the most popular and biggest selling album, how is this a surprise?? Because the Grammy's are supposed to award quality and there was no way Taylor's album was superior in quality to that of Lady GaGa's (and I am not a big GaGa fan) |
