Gaga said there might be 20 tracks but in the video she said it very ~jokey~ way. so idk  I think there will deff be more than 14. she has been working on this for so long :) |

No, we heard that the single would be December/January but now it's February. Some say Feb. 1st.
Correction: I think the album was to be released Feb. 15th but perhaps some got it confused with the single coming out then???

I guess I assumed when I say that unicorn with the "2.15.11" on it, that it was for the single, and not the album. Then again, we don't even know if Born This Way is the lead single. I'm assuming it is. Its been so talked about and hyped up. However, it may also be better to not release it first then. That way it can be heard before release, and the initial reactions can mellow a bit. I mean, 90% of the time when something is so hyped up like this, it ends up disappointing. I don't know why people do that to themselves, but whatever. haha |

What is? The single in February? yes, but I think most thought the album was coming in Feb/Mar.

TFM is nominated for Album of the Year at the 53rd Grammy's! I doubt it will win though...I think the clear favorite with the board right now is Eminem

Looking back 20 years, only Kanye and GaGa have done it. Dixie Chicks and Eminem, and to an extent Whitney Houston and Lauryn Hill almost did it (if you count soundtracks and group vs. solo).

I thought he had heard a few tracks? Even still..if I was GaGa, I would keep it under tight wraps. It doesn't matter who you trust, the more people you expose the unreleased songs to, the better chance it has of leaking.

If anything leaks, I will not listen to it. I listened to the non-mastered version of "Bad Romance" when it leaked and the final version sounded so much better. Thus, I will wait for official releases of everything.

I think she's pacing herself well.
She laid down the foundation for her career brilliantly over the past to years. Total expossure. She is now an icon and house hold name. She has set herself up well to be able to experiment and push her brand in a new direction if she still holds onto the core structures of what made her popular.

she's smart to have waited this long. Some people would've' already put out another 2 studio albums in this time. Her second album is only a year old and she's still on tour and will be in the next year. She's not waiting at all, most likely the label decided on the release date anyway. |
