I think a great cover for Born This Way would be a photo of Lady Gaga really stripped down, with a wig on that would match her natural hair color. Normal makeup. Nothing crazy. Just her, the way she was born before all the crazy outfits and theatrics. I agree!!! That is my thought exactly

Not that I would expect her to be that literal but who knows.

That is my thought exactly it would look like another costume for her and probably kill the point. way too literal. she will do something completely different and probably more straightforward than people are thinking. like she will do a photoshoot for a specific artistic direction that may or may not have anything to do with being born and choose a photo a la TFM. she wasnt dressing up as soon psycho monster

It's on a Monday so I could see that being the release date here, especially since her label would want to capitalize on a full week sales debut .

Exactly. However, if Amazon is listing it, then there's probably a really good chance that March 28 is the date.

I hope she is, actually. I think a high profile diva "battle" would be great promo and ultimately push both to higher debut weeks, IMO.

We have to remember that GaGa has only had one album out while this will be Britney's 7th. A lot of GaGa fans are Britney fans (and vice versa). I think releasing them within a few weeks of each other is a good idea.

People tend to forget Gaga is stil quite new and one successful era isn't enough to say she'll smash in the next one ( though she probs will )

Gaga's in an interesting one. The first single will smash no matter what. But her first "ballad" might be a tough one, even tho she needs it badly. It might be wise to take a "moderate" hit with a ballad, meaning "take a risk with releasing something that will not chart high, but give you respect".

OMG, I am so fucking pumped . Lately, I've been in the mood for Alejandro and Paparazzi. I hope she has another Ace of Base influenced track on here :kii:. Alejandro and Eh Eh are among my favourites by her .

GaGa said there's a BORN THIS WAY announcement on midnight New Year's Eve!! It wasn't long ago that we were expecting to find out the album title on New Year's Eve... It's nice that we're one big announcement ahead of schedule.

Guarantee that the announcement is that the album will be released on her birthday (March 28)

Guarantee that the announcement is that the album will be released on her birthday (March 28) I hope so! I think having the single released in the middle of February would be perfect too. Because it'll have a fast rise and there's already enough press and general knowledge about the album that it could probably still have a huge debut without a first single to promote it beforehand. Once again, the timing, if that's how it ends up, may be perfect!

Wow so she and Britney will be launching announcements/press releases/hype/albums basically at the same time? :o This will be inneresting. I don't think even Brit and X were this close to each other's releases.
