I wouldn't put 'I Gotta Feeling" on such a list, but I have no issue with "London Bridge." "All I Wanna Do" isn't as bad as some of those others, either.

So. Many. Questions. Why is Snoop wearing a pink cupcake-print suit? What happened to his gummy-bear army? Why does he even have a gummy-bear army? Did Katy Perry force him to do these ridiculous things? (My, how the mighty fall.) Why is a song about California set in Candy Land? Why does she shoot whipped topping out of her bra? The music video for "California Gurls," the so-called 2010 song of the summer, is just the icing on the cake of this terrible tune. Word of advice for Ms. Perry: if you're going to follow up a classic song like the Beach Boys' "California Girls" with a version of your own, make sure it doesn't suck.

You might also want to make sure that your song isn't just a total rewrite of an earlier hit by a different artist called "Tic Tok."

^Why would anyone wannna rewrite "Tik Tok," though? Just because it was a huge hit? When an act just has $ on the mind, it doesn't usually result in a great piece of work.

The only singles from Fergie's The Dutchess album I liked were "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Clumsy."

Yeah, they focus too much on the lyrics of the songs. Of course the lyrics of I Gotta Feeling are dumb but the music that backs it up is what makes the song. I think people focus too much on lyrics anyway when deciding that a song is good or bad.

Agreed. I don't know why some people can't just accept that some songs and silly and pointless but can still be a lot of fun. There's nothing deep about any of these songs, but I'll be damned if anyone stops me from dancing everytime I hear California Gurls, London Bridge, of All I Wanna Do. And that's basically what they're meant to do.

Also, the fact that they completely overlooked the sexual innuendos in Summer of 69 is rediculous. I thought it was a general fact that Bryan Adams wasn't really talking about the summer of 1969.

Hot in Herre is Nelly's defining song. It's what brought him from a rapper to a pop star at the time. You can tell that whoever wrote this is still living in the grunge/ emo rock period. Getting laid during the summer was never an accomplishment for them.

All you have to do is look at that list and see which songs are still played on the radio today. Hmm, Sheryl Crow, check, The Knack, check, BEP, check, Bryan Adams, check... and Katy Perry is a current hit so it doesn't even count.

As for LFO, Nelly, Fergie, Vitamin C and Jeremih, all those songs were garbage and aren't recurrent hits at all. It almost boggles my mind that "London Bridge" was a number one hit for Fergie yet I haven't heard it on the radio since it was charting. I wonder why that is?

Oh goody, another list made by a hipster critic who feels "mainstream" music is beneath him. These things are hardly worth the trouble analyzing, but here goes.

1. California Gurls - Katy Perry ft Snoop Dogg: This is the best song on the Pop chart. And is it really fair to call it the "worst" only a few months after it came out?
2. Summer Girls - LFO: This song was cheese then, this song is cheese now. But really, what's worse, a boy band that's just trying to have fun, or an over-Autotuned piece of electropop made by some talentless hack?
3. Hot In Herre - Nelly: Pass.
4. Summer of 69 - Bryan Adams: Bryan Adams is hardly someone I'd try to defend, but in no way is this one of his worst.
5. I Gotta Feeling - BEP: This could almost pass for tolerable if it wasn't constantly shoved your throat.
6. London Bridge - Fergie: Absolute s**t.
7. Graduation - Summer C: The definitive graduation song. Surely it deserves credit for that.
8. My Sharona - The Knack: What? Does this guy even understand music?
9. All I Wanna Do - Sheryl Crow: I wasn't aware Sheryl Crow offended enough people in 2010 to wind up at #9 on a worst of list. But whatever.
10. Birthday Sex - Jeremiah: See 6.

Finally, someone who think IGF is as annoying as I do. Also, agree with Summer of 69, My Sharona, London Bridge and Summer Girls. Personally, I don't mind California Gurls, even if it is a rewrite of one of least favorite songs of all-time, Tik Tok.
