13(+2) Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God) 47.52(+1.90)
Biggest AI update so far yes *_* I hope its callout scores are good on Pop/HAC radio when it debuts. I can see it going to #1 on both formats if so.

This would be such a great autumn/winter single. I do hope it gets released as a single at some point. Preferably after "2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)".

How can Lizzo get away with such ridiculous song titles/lyrics lol. Shame this didn't come out in time for pride month. There's always next year!

Am I ready for this to be a massive smash? You bet I am.
I can't get this out of my head. The to be loved parts really remind of a song that I can't put my finger on! I hope they push this ASAP - "About Damn Time" is peaking right now and would be the perfect time to push the second single.

Damn, I think that's its biggest AI gain overall so far! Pop radio really pulling through. I hope these updates continue until it gets to #1 on Pop/HAC/Alt/AC. I wonder if it has a chance of charting on Rhythmic at all too.

Kate Bush's streams have been holding up really well on spotify since the Stranger Things boost. Still doing ~1.5 million+
I hope she can continue to maintain those streams for another few weeks or so as her airplay continues to gain at a fast pace. Jack Harlow's airplay is falling quite fast now and Harry looks to finally be starting to fall with "As It Was". I assume in part due to "Late Night Talking" impacting a little bit on it as that's now top 5 on Pop radio ("As It Was" is #2). Lizzo will be #1 with the album boost/song discount giving it enough of a points increase to pass Harry.
The main question is how Beyoncé does the next few weeks. "Break My Soul" has decreased quite a bit in streaming but its airplay has been gaining extremely well. We will hopefully get a music video released soon, plus the album release boost. Those could be big enough to get it to #1 as it should have quite a lot of airplay by then, especially if the music video drops the same day as the album. It's also possible an album track gets a music video released when the album drops as well and takes off/goes viral to debut at #1. (I wouldn't be surprise if Beyoncé has music videos for the whole album ready and lined up to drop the same day the album is released).
I'm just trying my hardest to find a path for Kate to get a week at #1. Lizzo will likely have this week and next at #1. Her airplay will likely start falling next week as she appears to be peaking on Pop and will peak on HAC radio soon.
I wouldn't be surprised if Lizzo ends up being a long running #1 without anyone challenging her much due to her massive airplay/lack of big new releases though.

Just had a listen through and it's a solid album! I can tell multiple songs are going to grow on me a lot too.
"2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)" sounds like the obvious next single - although I can see quite a few songs being singles. If I had to choose I think I would go with:
1. "About Dammn Time" 2. "2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)" summer/autumn 2022 3. "Special" winter 2022/2023 4. "Birthday Girl" Spring/early summer 2023 5. "I Love You Bitch" Summer 2023
I can see quite a few of the songs possibly doing something on Tiktok. And I hope they do to help give the album some nice legs/another viral hit or two!

Great to see a nice boost for Lizzo from the album release. I wasn't expecting much of an album bomb, but was hoping it would do a little better. Hopefully the success of "About Damn Time" will give the next single a good shot of becoming a decent sized hit and the album some longevity. Although I'm not sure what the second single should be.

I hope the radio updates continue being massive and it gets a chance at #1 on the Hot 100 in a few weeks time when its AI is a lot higher and streaming/sales remain fairly stable.

Love this. Can't believe it's been two years though! It had a much better chart run in the UK (9 weeks top 5 until it went on ACR, as well as going to #1 in airplay). It's her 5th biggest hit here (behind "Just Dance"/"Bad Romance"/"Poker Face"/"Shallow").

Shame Kate didn't get a new peak. Hopefully she'll manage to be somewhat stable in streams/sales whilst her airplay keeps building next week to maybe climb to #3 or #2. It looks like its best chance of challenging for #1 may be in a few weeks or so after Lizzo's album boost for "About Damn Time" fades and the song starts falling in airplay. Hopefully "As It Was" will also have fallen a bit more in airplay by then.

Unstoppable might actually debut on the hot 100. I get that its a tik tok song now and all but damn that song is boring. It was used in an advert and has been gaining really good airplay on HAC/AC airplay formats too. It's just now being pushed to Pop radio as well. Glad to see it looking to debut on the Hot 100 this week. Hopefully it may have a slow climb to become a decent sized hit!

It's been top 200 on global spotify for the last few weeks. Maybe the label should properly push this as it looks like it could do quite well.

I think the singles/album were just kinda overshadowed by "Save Your Tears" and all the other collabs The Weeknd has been part of recently. Hopefully he'll take a couple years break until his next album. I can't help but feel "Take My Breath" and "Sacrifice" would've been massive hits if he just waited another year.

Glad to see the alt negative updates were likely due to the holiday weekend.
I hope this can manage top 10 on Pop at least. I assume if callouts are good it could even make it to #1? I won't get ahead of myself though. Still a long ways to go!

"Running Up That Hill" increasing in streams on spotify again and widening the gap between her and Harry there. Come on #1 this week please!
Also Lizzo being so close to the #1 slot too! Kate followed by Lizzo for the #1s on the Hot 100 please. *_*

I doubt it will considering As It was stability on streaming and First Class + About Damn Time's massive airplay. But a repeak at #4 and good longevity (12-15 weeks maybe?) in the top 10 seems very likely especially if it keeps gaining on radio and staying stable on digital It's currently outstreaming As It Was in the US by nearly 450K streams so I feel like if it keeps at this pace, it may be enough. Kate is also ahead of Harry on Apple Music/Amazon/Youtube and iTunes. These are the spotify numbers: July 1st Kate 1,587,163 ( 255,479 lead) Harry 1,331,684 July 2nd Kate 1,672,973 ( 397,537 lead) Harry 1,275,436 July 3rd Kate 1,617,624 ( 429,468 lead) Harry 1,188,156 July 4th Kate 1,605,996 ( 419,945 lead) Harry 1,186,051 Hopefully she can continue to keep a lead of 400k+ in the next few days.

It might be really close for "Running Up That Hill" to get to #1 this week. It's done over 1.6 million streams on spotify again so the boost continues to help it.
Kate is ahead of Harry/Jack Harlow on Spotify/Apple Music/Amazon/iTunes/Youtube. It's a shame we can't see how far ahead she is on Apple Music and Amazon. Particularly on Amazon where she's #1.
Kate continues to gain really well in airplay whilst Jack falls quite a bit. Harry on the otherhand is falling at a slower pace.
I think #2 on the Hot 100 is pretty much on lock. But overtaking Harry will come down to airplay it looks like - although her sales could be quite big this week as she has a large lead on iTunes again (could do 15-20k+ in sales this week which could really help). Things look good for her to get to #1 next week if her streams stay fairly stable and her airplay continues to climb/Harry's falls some more.

BET Awards performance:
Great performance. Hopefully we'll get some more performances the week the album drops.
The music video is still getting 500k+ views/day and has overtaken "Rumours". It has ~52.5 million views. Should pass 100 million views by the end of the year, becoming her 4th to do so.

Smile was such a great pop album. Definitely one of my favourite albums of the 2020s so far. So many great/catchy songs:
"Never Really Over" "Tucked" "Cry About It Later" "Harleys In Hawaii" "Smile" "Daisies" "Teary Eyes" "Champagne Problems" "Not The End Of The World" "Only Love" "What Makes A Woman"
Ok I kinda listed the entire album but still. The production is top notch too. In an alternate universe this album would've spawned multiple #1s, with 5+ top 10 hits. :'(
I'm glad a number of the songs managed to do well and continue to do well in residual streams. I just wish the album campaign was better managed. If only "Never Really Over" was followed straight away with "Harleys In Hawaii". "Small Talk" killed all momentum and the success built up by "Never Really Over". :'(
I look forward to KP6 and hope she can have a big comeback. Realistically, I would be happy with her getting another top 10 hit on the Hot 100 even if it stays there for 1 week.

If "Running Up The Hill" continues to do well/remains fairly stable in streams and keeps climbing in airplay it's entirely possible it could manage a week or two at #1 in the coming weeks while "As It Was"/"First Class" decrease in points. The main competition will be from Lizzo with her album boost for "About Damn Time" and Beyoncé with the video for "Break My Soul" and the album release. I'm not sure about Drake as "Jimmy Crooks" is still doing well but is falling and its sales/airplay are both pretty non-existent which works in Kate's favour. "Wait For U" is quite a bit behind Kate on spotify, although ahead on Apple Music/ in airplay. Although Kate's airplay is catching up fast and she's ahead in sales.
So unless there's a massive surprise release/viral song or a song from Lizzo/Beyoncé's albums becomes massive out the gate (entirely possible for Beyoncé, especially if she drops a music video or two), it looks like the road is clear for Kate Bush to get to #1 in a few weeks as long as its streams stay stable and its airplay continues to rise?
