Easily the worst single Cardi's released as the main artist.

Maybe it’ll grow on me but I feel like neither feature held their own at all compared to Cardi

Flavorless track from Cardi. Just 808s and bass in the beat.

WAP/Up also had music videos to “enhance” the records. The different performances, looks, choreography, added to the hype and momentum of the record, giving it an extra boost. Music vids can sometimes take songs to a different level. (Not to say that WAP/Up weren’t good on their own. But all of those other elements were hot topics on social media that helped to draw engagement beyond just the record.)
This new single doesn’t have a music video. Once she releases it in a few weeks it should add another boost to help with longevity.
With that, it’s definitely a good record. Cardi did her thing, Durk and Ye ate well.

In conclusion, new Cardi is just Up 2.0. I like Up, so I guess this song is fine.

The Cardi track just doesn't go anywhere... Seems like a boring week for charts overall, so hopefully Kate Bush (with ST boost) and Beyoncé continue their climb.
Could Master of Puppets debut (ST impact)?

Talking about music videos, has anyone noticed hit songs from the past few years have way less views on YouTube than they used to get? How are Heat Waves and Blinding Light nowhere near 1 billion yet? We Don't Talk About Bruno seems to be the only one that's done quite well. Hits that big in 2015 would've sailed past 1 billion in a couple of years.

I don’t see Cardi challenging for the #1. I think Running Up That Hill should top the Hot 100 this week.

I wonder how the Calvin Harris X 21 Savage song will perform. I think that it should debut higher than Potion, but by how much remains to be seen

I'm not surprised that I didn't like the new Cardi B song, I didn't like WAP and I thought Up was mediocre.

Particularly in English speaking markets, thus music in English is no longer as popular as it used to be. Take a look at Dua Lipa's 2 eras, for instance... you would think the Future Nostalgia music videos would be ahead of her debut era... but it's not the case since youtube popularity has decreased substantially over the last 5 years (for English music). Nowadays, the main consumers are in Asia, and in second place, Latin America. Youtube main markets: 1 India 2 Brazil 3 Mexico 4 USA 5 Indonesia 6 Thailand 7 Turkey 8 Argentina 9 Philippines 10 Colombia

Calvin/21 Song is Smooth. Honestly didn't think 21 would fit so well over this type of beat, and that guitar solo on the back half is great.

How are Heat Waves and Blinding Light nowhere near 1 billion yet? Blinding Lights has 1,3B tho (audio and MV combined). Official audio has more views than the video since it's 2 months older and it's easier to listen to, because there's too much going on in the video. Kinda the same situation with Havana, the audio has 800M more than the MV.

I am so glad "Until I Found You" has an official video. Now, it should be able to blast back onto the Billboard Hot 100.

Tay Keith beats always sound the same, it sucks cuz all the artists involved are great but they are held down by this 2018 barebones ass trap beat.

Rage beats are the hot thing in hip hop right now. I don't know why they would release this monotonous track. Anyways, stream the new Calvin Harris x 21 Savage track.

Two songs debut on Pop callouts this week: 2step and Love Me More. The former doesn't have great numbers, but the latter actually has the highest net positive.

This just sounds like Nonstop with its heavily empty production but there is actual energy this time thanks to the artists involved. Not sure if this will go to #1 but i hope it does so Durk gets his first. Also Kanye gets his (only?) #1 for the decade, and he’ll be another artist who has #1s across 3 different decades.
