Berlin despises 'Take My Breath Away' and hates performing it as well. They wish it didn't become as big as it did. There are a bunch of 80s and 90s acts who hate their biggest singles and hate performing them today as well. Most of them basically say those hits are so far left of their actual sound that its left audiences with a false perception of their music.

Bjork; I'm not sure what she thinks of the song, but it's her biggest hit isn't it? I don't think it could be more different from the vast majority of her material.

Pink - Lady Marmalade (w/ Christina, Mya, Lil Kim & Missy)
She has expressed her hatred for this song numerous times. Lol But I don't think she hates the song itself, just their version and everything about it.
I also didn't know she hated Most Girls.

Didn't Pink say she hated Don't Let Me Get Me at the time of the album but grew to think it was "cute"? Thought I read that somewhere. Rihanna and Who's That Chick (Big Hit WW anyway) She basically said it was a song that could be shopped around to anyone, said her boyfriend at that time disliked it, and later said she originally didn't like it but then decided to record it on an impulse later. She also said she refused to promote it because it sounded like everything else on the radio at the time ...Has she heard any of her songs this era?

The only thing I can think of is Sexy Chick but the more progressive house-flavored stuff that pop has shifted in was hardly an excessive sound on pop radio in October 2010.

Beyonce also said in 2006 that she doesn't like "Check On It" and even said that she's surprised that it became a hit and that the production wasn't good. She hasn't even performed that song in full yet.
I don't have the source but I do remember reading it. If I find it, I'll post it.

I don't remember what they said about it, but The Cardigans refused to play LoveFool when I saw them perform a few years back. They played 75 minutes of songs that no one knew and then left.

I think Terri Clark has said in the past that she doesn't like "Girls Lie Too," and that she was originally against recording it because she thought it was too much of a novelty song.

Lol But I don't think she hates the song itself, just their version and everything about it. Not to mention all the apparent drama between her and Xtina since Xtina wanted to do the big screaming bridge and it pissed her off because Xtina assumed she would automatically get it. There's a video on YouTube of P!nk talking about it. That's not at all surprising that she doesn't like it.

Dionne Warwick dislikes her biggest European hit "Heartbreaker" which was written by the Bee Gees.

Why would you go to their concert if you only know one of their songs? I should have mentioned, that they were the opening act for Liz Phair, who I was there to see. (she was amazing, btw). The Cardigans were there to promote their new album, but they angered the crowd tremendously when they refused to play the one song that everyone there actually knew!!

I seem to remember John saying that he's tired of "Your Body is a Wonderland." That might just be wishful thinking on my part though.

^ Doesn't he hate "Daughters" ? It wouldn't surprise me too much, tbh. The most recent thing that I remember him saying on it was a comment to Rob Thomas. He told Rob that he and Rob have every wedding on lock. Every wedding plays "Smooth" and "Daughters." I think that it's a shame that some of his least good songs have become his biggest hits. "Wonderland," "Daughters," and "Waiting" aren't standouts in his catalog. The album tracks are where it gets really good. See "Gravity" and "Split Screen Sadness" for more information.

Amber has said numerous times she hates most of her debut album, ESPECIALLY "Colour of Love."
Bobby McFerrin has not performed "Don't Worry Be Happy" in concert in almost 20 years.
Celine Dion had said before that she had gotten tired of performing "My Heart Will Go On" but because the song gets such an overwhelming response when she performs it, it helps quite a bit.
Jesse McCartney won't perform any song from his first 2 albums except for "Beautiful Soul."
Cher hated "If I Could Turn Back Time" and only agreed to record it because Diane Warren literally begged her.
Mandy Moore hates pretty much her first 2 albums.
Jessica Simpson hates her "Irresistible" album.

The thing is with artists like Celine (or any big name for that matter) most fans go to the concert to hear the big hits and fan favorites, not "new stuff." She did perform 6 songs from "Taking Chances" during her last tour though.

Jay-Z hates the lyrics to 'Big Pimpin' and he can't believe he ever recorded a song like that. He especially hates the misogynistic first verse, and when he performs it live he only raps the last verse of the song which is more boasting than misogyny.
