If they don't release "This Means War" to rock next, they might as well just quit this era. quitting the era!! well i guess that's too much! they maybe wanna keep it for later, or just some other rocker, sooner or later i believe this means war will get a rock release in the US Haha, well of course I'm exaggerating (because of course, being from Canada requires that this get at least 8 singles) but it's one of the few hard rockers on the album that isn't about drinking or sex. Their themes get more and more narrow-minded after each release.

Their themes get more and more narrow-minded after each release. I can't quite agree with this. "Just To Get High" was the only rocker from its predecessor not to dwell on the inebriation and carnal pleasure themes. Here, "This Means War" and "Kiss It Goodbye" both dwell outside that realm, with "Everything I Wanna Do" being partially-aggressive and also not exclusively falling on either trope. I will agree though a more broader respite from those crutches would be welcomed. But this is a less closed-minded release than "Dark Horse" topically. Namaste, lisping HIBISCUS

Here, "This Means War" and "Kiss It Goodbye" both dwell outside that realm, with "Everything I Wanna Do" being partially-aggressive and also not exclusively falling on either trope. "Kiss It Goodbye" was one of the others I was referring to. I don't remember anything about "Everything I Wanna Do" though. I will agree though a more broader respite from those crutches would be welcomed. But this is a less closed-minded release than "Dark Horse" topically. This album doesn't sink as low as "S.E.X." or "Shakin' Hands" did, but its best songs also aren't as good as the best ones on "Dark Horse".

I don't like the album as much as "Dark Horse," but there's less cock rock stupidness involved. It angers me to listen to their old material and compare it to their new stuff.

I want a Silver Side Up/All the Right Reasons mashup album sound for their next album, with little cock-rock on it. Here and Now is close, but not nearly close enough to my dream!
