It's possible that this will show up on the chart tonight--not sure who would've dropped off besides Jake Owen, but this one got another 10 adds this week. KKBQ in Houston was one of the new stations (in addition to KKGO in Los Angeles), and they played "100 Proof" 10 times last week (KKGO will start to spin in this week).
Yeah, I'll guess Kellie will debut, after seeing all the adds reported now. George Strait got 7 adds and some usual spins in San Antonio, so he may also sneak on the chart, but Kellie could come in as well, maybe even as the Hot Shot Debut. On the off-chance that this doesn't make the top 60 tonight, it should easily debut next week. But I'm thinking it will get on the chart tonight.

Very nice for Kellie! I'm seeing her live tonight in Charlotte along with Hunter, Lauren, and Craig! I can't wait to see her perform this and all the great stuff from her new CD! 20 adds in 2 weeks is awesome for Kellie!

Besides Owen, there's a slim possibility Rodney Atkins will go. But that's unlikely. Darryl Worley, Josh Abbott Band, and Matt Stilwell are more likely to depart. Oh, and Tyler Farr lost a good bit of audience last week, so maybe he could lose even more this week and drop off too. I think there will be 3 new entries, outside shot at 4.

Hmph. No debut. Only George debuted at #54. Still, I think it was a better week this week for Kellie than last. She got 10 more adds, and KKGO will start playing "100 Proof" this week, I'm sure. I'll bet she just barely missed the bottom of the chart, and she should easily get in next week.

KKGO gave it a spin this afternoon. So hopefully this will get some good response. I saw where Kellie will be in California for several shows, so maybe she do some radio promo while out there. Maybe another Ellen appearance singing this song would really help.

Since this one missed the 5/5 chart by only 4k -- one spin somewhere -- a little help from anywhere should be all it needs for next week. I wish this would put us out of our misery and get on the chart. Work harder, do whatever it takes.

Just saw the 2nd full page add in country aircheck for this.. So can say the labels not trying to push this. I just hope the promo continues. This single is critical for kellie. And i think the label knows that

I think this will have a strong debut on Monday. For sure 2 songs should leave--Casey James' "Let's Don't Call It A Night" and Craig Campbell's "When I Get It" are already on their way out the door, and Craig Morgan's "This Ole Boy" is barely hanging by a thread and could leave as well.
"100 Proof" was only 0.004 million AI's out of #60 on Monday, and with 272k and several new stations spinning it this week (including KKGO in LA), I'm thinking this could maybe land around 500k, give or take a bit. That automatically puts it ahead of Pat Green, Matt Stillwell, and Eric Paslay, and gets Darryl Worley, Aaron Lewis, and James Wesley all within range.
If there are 3 recurrents, that already puts her at #58. Make it #55 with the passes of Pat, Matt, and Eric (I'm assuming she can get by these 3). Then, if she's able to pass that next batch of 3 (James, Aaron, and Darryl), that'd put her at #52. But maybe they will stay ahead, or a couple of them. Certainly, a debut in the 52-55 range seems likely. The only song that *could* debut ahead of Kellie is LBT's "Pontoon"--that one should debut as well but I'm thinking its 1st week on the chart will be just below Kellie, since a lot of stations probably won't start playing "Pontoon" until next week.
Jon Pardi looks likely to build on his 532k total (he had 11 adds last week) so I don't think Kellie can catch him. George Strait will surely jump up quite a bit, and Scotty McCreery and Greg Bates will probably remain out of range for their chart runs. Taylor Swift's "Eyes Open" won't go up much more unless more stations are starting to spin it this week, or if KKGO gives it more spins.
Anyway, I think Kellie can land somewhere in the 52-55 range. Hopefully she gets more adds as well.

According to the MB Adds Board, KKGO Los Angeles has still not given this song a spin. They've "added" it but they haven't added it yet.
I hope this charts tomorrow, but I won't fully believe it until I see it listed as a debut on tomorrow's BB chart highlights.

KKGO has played it. www.allaccess.com/mediabase/q/report/leaders/song/PICK100P/format/C19 spins and 156k AI's in the last 7 days. It's up to 477k on Mediabase and should be close to that on Billboard as well, maybe a little lower. This should definitely debut on BB tomorrow, maybe in the 54-56 range, close to James Wesley, Aaron Lewis, and Darryl Worley, who are all going nowhere.

debuts at #53. So good for her, now let's see if this goes somewhere or just fizzles out like so many songs by other non-established females

I heard this song on the radio today and it sounds like it's going to be Kellie's first #1 country smash. I have a strong feeling about "100 Proof" Kellie Pickler has been long overdue for her first #1 and I think this is it. Beautiful ballad with a great message.

Crossing my fingers for Kellie. I've never been much of a fan myself, but this song is absolutely flawless and deserves to be huge. Even though Kellie is a limited vocalist, she has really grown to embrace her strengths, and "100 Proof" shows just how good she can be with the right material. I'm not really sure if the single (or album) will do much for her in the end, but hope this single will see some success.

This is a general observation and not directed at you specifically but I've never got the 'limited vocalist' arguments for any artist. Does "every" artist have to have a Martina or Carrie-like voice? I love great vocalists but man, sometimes a great stylist can do more with a song than the best singer in the world can because sometimes those big voices think they have to go 'big' all the time. Shoot, look at Gary from Rascal Flatts. He's got a great voice but his best songs are the more toned down, subtle 'stylized' vocals like "Bless The Broken Road" "I'm Movin' On" or "I Won't Let Go."

I agree with Matt here. I think it's as much about finding material that suits your vocal abilities than it can be about having that big voice. Take Eric Church for example - I do not think he has a great voice, at all. There's a nasally, whiny quality to it. But he's often able to record a song that suits it just perfectly ("Drink in my Hand" is the most recent example I can think of).
On 100 Proof I think Kellie found songs and the style of country music that just screams YES! It's a truly terrific album, and she turns out some very impressive vocal performances throughout.

I can't believe Kellie coming back to Charlotte for a concert already, thats 2 in a month! At KAT Jam a couple weeks ago and now at Whisky River in 2 weeks, this time for a full show! Hopefully both Charlotte's stations will reward her by playing "100 Proof" like crazy! Afterall its at each of their radio events she's participating!

I think Kellie is a very capable vocalist and not limited at all. Her personality and interpretive abilities far surpass those of Carrie Underwood for me, and I would much rather listen to her over many vocalists with arguably "bigger" voices. Bigger =/= better.

Well, Kellie Pickler could write another song with Taylor Swift. Sweet baby Jesus. Please, no. It got her a Platinum, top 10 hit. If that's what has to be done to get her back on the map, then I guess it's better than seeing another stellar album like this drown, along with its flop single releases that deserve so much more than what has fared out for them (thus far for 100P, at least).

Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply every artist should have a huge, belting voice. Kellie is talented & she's learned to use her voice well. I think she's great at picking material that works for her, and she showcases that on this single especially.

Soooo slow, but I'm not giving up hope. Only two new adds at Mediabase yesterday. Obviously, if it does anything it's going to have to be a grinder.

I like this song. I do get amused though reading some of the other threads that seem to indicate Radio is looking for more Country sounding songs. This song, Alan Jackson's song and some others have been clearly non-pop country songs and they all are having to fight their way onto the playing rotation. So when I hear that certain Artists should release something more Country sounding....I have to wonder.
