good to know. however, he should release Ooh la la next, the song is like the most popular song on the album other than the song BLURRED LINES. I don't see anyone hating on the song, in fact, all of my friends, when i ask abt the favorite song on the album, they ALL say Ooh La La Yeah, strangely For the rest of my life out of nowhere just peaked in urban ac in top5. I actually think Ooh la la is the most obvious single after this peaked. Then pressure etc. Hopefully a video is out by late November so it could boost sales during the holidays I would love PRESSURE to be a single as well. Amazing song

Next Urban single from Blurred Lines
26 adds this week
Credit to umichgrad07 at ATRL.
So it looks like things are going almost according to plan
I thought For the rest of my life would go #1 on urban ac and then be added to urban and rhythmic but it went from gaining fast to losing its bullet. Either way, Blurred lines Give it to you will peak on pop in a couple of weeks For the rest of my life peaking on urban ac and will gain on urban and rhythmic in time for thanksgiving and xmas sales. Hopefully they push ooh la la late Jan/early February in time for Valentines boost and Grammys Then pressure or some other songs can finish out the spring and summer.

"For the Rest of My Life" is now top 50 on urban. I assume they're gonna push that there? Since he'll likely have that charting there and "Give It 2 U" is nearly done, I'm hoping they send "Feel Good" to pop and rhythmic. I'm still hoping for an "Ooo La La" release at some point though.

Ooh la la would be perfect right before Valentine's day.

Looks like this is the next pop single. I even forgot this song was on the album because it's such a non factor and forgettable. I'm listening to it now...it's alright. I could see this being played on pop radio and urban/rhy a little. I'm sure it'll go top 60 on hot 100. Hoping for Ooh la la afterwards.

Nominated for 3 Grammys. Record of the Year ("Blurred Lines") Best Pop Duo/Group Performance ("Blurred Lines") Best Pop Vocal Album (Blurred Lines) Oh I get it. White people are Pop (is this not R&B?) and black people are R&B (is Rihanna not pop?). Way to typecast, Grammy's!

'Blurred Lines' Lawsuit: Sony/ATV Settles With Marvin Gaye's Family
The heavyweight copyright lawsuit over "Blurred Lines" isn't over, but thanks to a settlement among some of the parties, the case will no longer put one music giant in an uncomfortable position. Robin Thicke was the first to bring litigation and sought declaratory relief that his mega-hit song wasn't an improper copy of Marvin Gaye's "Got to Give It Up." In response, Gaye's children not only brought counterclaims against Thicke and his producers, but also targeted EMI April, owned by Sony/ATV, for allegedly breaching its obligations to protect the Gaye catalogue. According to the Gaye family's court papers, EMI also administered rights on "Blurred Lines" and didn't want Gaye's family getting in the way of the song's ongoing success. The chairman of EMI is even said to have contacted Gaye's legal representative with warnings about making a frivolous claim. Put in the cross-fire, Sony/ATV responded that the family's move to rescind their contractual relationship had been "ill-advised." Now, comes a settlement agreement between Gaye's family and the music publisher. Terms haven't been made public. The agreement means that Sony/ATV won't have to defend their impartiality in administering copyrights to both Thicke's work and Gaye's. It will also release the company from having to address what was said to have been a conflict inherent in owning 30 percent of the music publishing market.
However, it won't completely finish the involvement of Sony/ATV in the lingering dispute between Thicke and Gaye's children. As discovery is pursued, and as the case pushes its way to a potential trial, Thicke's camp will likely want a jury to hear exactly why Sony concluded the songs were not substantially similar. www.billboard.com/biz/articles/news/5869666/blurred-lines-lawsuit-sonyatv-settles-with-marvin-gayes-family

As much as I Love Blurred Lines, I thought (assumed) it sampled Marvin Gaye's hit. I was surprised when I read it didn't. Come on now that's like when Vanilla Ice said he didn't sample anything for Ice Ice Baby. Lol.
