I only listened to the album clips, but this does seem like the obvious third single choice.

This song is really boring, but I knew it would be next since Adam adores it and thinks its their next "She Will Be Loved" Reminds me more of "Won't Go Home Without You"/"Never Gonna Leave This Bed".

Wrong? My opinion. OK. Usually I'd let this go but I have a peeve I'd like to address. 1) I was clearly being light-hearted. 2) Even if I wasn't being light-hearted, and I was deadly serious, where on earth is an opinion unchallengeable merely by it's existence as an opinion? 3) Again, even if I wasn't being lighthearted (which I was) and was being deadly serious (which I wasn't), perhaps my opinion is that yours is wrong. :)

Never Gonna Leave This Bed is one of my favourites from them. I wish it had smashed. :'(

This is a bore to me. No way in hell is it up there with "She Will Be Loved." It's bland which leads me to align with the comparisons to "Won't Go Home Without You."
"Never Gonna Leave This Bed" will remain my favorite post-Jane ballad. Shame this song will do much better than that should-be radio staple and for no other reason than they're hot right now.

This song is so dull. The album is chock full of singles and they pick this song? Should've been "Love Somebody," "Doin' Dirt," or "Beautiful Goodbye."

'Daylight' is the perfect choice. They are 3-3 so far.

Yeah, I don't like this either. I actually think it might be my least favorite song they've released as a single.

I assume this isn't being released for a while yet because One More Night is nearing the top of the charts where it is rising, plus Payphone still feels relatively recent.

'Daylight' is the perfect choice. They are 3-3 so far. Preach. Lucky Strike is probably my least favorite song on the entire album. "You're my lucky strike." So she's your cigarette from 30 years ago??

This one isn't as instantly catchy as their first two, but still a decent song.

Another good choice. It's sonically different from the first two singles, but still has that M5 sound to it. It is a slower song from them, but I would be more worried about it's performance if it wasn't following two smash singles. I don't think it will be as huge as those two but think it will be a nice sized hit nonetheless. :)

Has this been confirmed as the 3rd single? I heard 'Love Somebody' on the radio yesterday.
Never mind, I guess. Apparently a video project called The Daylight Project has been launched to promote the album.

^I mentioned that in the first post. ;)
Anyway, the band gave further confirmation today with their tour announcement: it will be performed on The Voice November 8 and impacts radio sometime in November.

the part where he goes "daaaaaaylight" in the chorus is so cringe-worthy and this is coming from a long-time M5 fan

I think "Daylight" is the clear choice for the third single. EDIT: I now realize I said this months ago.

Did TV performance generate any sales? I didn't notice it on the chart.... If not, that's probably a sign to just move on to something better. No need to stall the momentum.
