They played 22 at the club last night, it was some kind of a remix/mash-up with SUBG. A lot of people screamed. Ugh. This song is just perfect. I was shocked too, I never expected to hear this at the clubs. I have heard "Trouble" a few times though. Magical. Was it this one? :) soundcloud.com/catalinarhymemixers/twenty-twerk-it-1

This is really about to get sucked into the top 10 though? It most likely won't stay there for Sunday, but still.

the DJ Mike D Remix was serviced to radio today. Pretty cool mix by the man himself.

Just listened to the remix. Doesn't really add or change the song much. Besides making it a little too noisy, imo.

Will pass "Thrift Shop" to be #10 tomorrow. Depending on its and "Come & Get It"'s updates, it may or may not stay there until Sunday.

Does anyone know how much begin again and red have sold ? the most recent figure I could find for "Begin Again" is from mid-March, when it was at 824k. for "Red" I had to go back even further to late January, when it was at 746k. I don't think either track has appeared anywhere in the 200-spot Digital Songs chart since those dates, but I could be wrong.

I heard this song on the radio today! I don't understand why it wasn't a big hit like the other two singles, it sounds as good as them! :(

That remix is just...terrible.
I hope gains momentum now that it's about to enter the top 10. Just 10 more days until the live performance!

I'm in disbelief the song has slowed down so much, but I still have hope that it'll get a second wind. I know it's a little on the generic side, but to be honest? So is everything else on radio. This is pure Pop, candy bliss and I love it.

Really, we're lucky this did so much better than "Story of Us."

She had several moderate pop hits already "Fifteen", "Back To December", "Mine" and now "22".
Her only big/huge hits were "Love Story", "You Belong With Me", "We Are Never Ever...", "I Knew You Were Trouble." oh and "Teardrops on My Guitar" was a decent hit.
I wonder why this is struggling I mean it did better in sales and Hot 100 than current hits "Troublemaker" and "Alive" and these were top 10 on CHR.

And Troublemaker peaked at #10. Alive is barely doing anything, just like this song, barely in the top 10.

Yeah, "Troublemaker," "Alive," and "22" have all peaked in pretty much the same place on pop. 9-11. Alive - 9 Troublemaker - 10 22 - 11* *Unofficial peak, but it looks like that's what it's going to peak at. Yeah, a top ten would be cool, but no one can really discern the difference between peaking at 9, 10, or 11.

I think "Come & Get It" and "#thatPOWER" will prevent this to peak in the top 10 and "My Songs Know..." is coming for "22"'s wig as well, so it may peak at #12 or #13.

SUrprised red has sold 1 million but begin again hasn't I think those certifications might have to do with the recent change in RIAA policy and not accurately reflect what those songs have sold anymore. I don't totally understand it, but it seems that on-demand streaming now counts for certifications. there's a thread about it here.

I had the same thought, but with how stingy Taylor's label is with streaming, I don't think "Red" would even be on streaming anywhere.

On HAC I think it should be safe to make the #10 officially. Wouldn't it be cute if it was an unofficial #10 on both formats though? The last unofficial top 10 hit on CHR was "Brokenhearted", if I recall correctly.

I had the same thought, but with how stingy Taylor's label is with streaming, I don't think "Red" would even be on streaming anywhere. It is on YouTube though. The top video (user upload) has 6 million views, and so does a live version (label upload), there's another user upload with 2 million, and several more with views above 100k. Altogether that probably comes to 18 million or so, which I think is equivalent to 180k sales, which would mean it only needs to have sold 820k, and I think it's believable that it sold 74k in the last 3.5 months. Edit: oh flop, I forgot to take into account non-US views. "Red"'s US percentage should be pretty high though (I'd say 70-80%) which would put it at 865k sales, which still should work.
