Can you upload and post a link? :) The radio rip I made is only fair quality. It has a promo voice stamp for "AfterMidnite" similar to "AOL First Listen". If anyone is still interested in hearing it before a good quality version is available, send me a PM and I'll be happy to help you out. :) EDIT: As mentioned in another post, a download of "All Jacked Up" is available for purchase at Wal-Mart.com

I heard it early this morning on 'After Midnite With Blair Garner', and it was okay; it certainly didn't blow me away the way that 'Redneck Woman' did.

Just based on yesterday, Mediabase is showing 308 spins and already a #43 standing. Is this one going to contend with Faith's Mississippi Girl for highest debut of the year on BB (#27)?

I heard it this morning. Sorry, but I think it stinks. I'm getting tired of the screaming coming out of all the new artists. I just want this whole phase to go away.

This is definitely one of the catchiest country singles I've heard in the past year.
I really like this. This will soar straight to #1 on name recognition alone, and the sound itself sure is chart-topping worthy.
My Prediction: #1
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

How is this song any different than "Redneck Woman" ? ???
I think it's awful, but I'm sure it will hit #1 just because.
I hope the rest of her sophmore cd is better than this!

On Billboard, it looks likely to achieve an 8 million impressions debut, which would have it at #25 or so. On R&R, I figure it moves up to about JoDee or Gary Allan level, and there ought to be 3 more songs going recurrent which will help even more. #27 or maybe better. In short, who remembers Faith? That was a long time ago; bring on the new hero. I have to drive across country in 6 weeks or so; I'm already planning to double the number of CD's I bring, just to avoid this song.

Wonder if she will beat Shania for all-time highest debut by a female (#24)?? This song might just debut at #1!! The only thing different, is that this song has 2 full weeks of play before its official debut, which is cheap. Shania and Faith only got 1, or atleast I know Shania did.

That is your opinion not mine. I like Gretchen but if it was a choice between her and Faith. Faith would get my vote and support everytime. Her new song is OK but IMO just OK. I would take any of the new songs off Faith's new album before Gretchen new single.
I think once Faith's album gets out there watch out!

I tried to listen to it, but no sound ever comes out of anything I run thru IE. Any ideas? I get sound from Itunes, winamp, media player, etc.

I don't mean to start a fight but I am guessing that Gretchen is going to outsell Faith's first week. Maybe not in the long run, but in the first week. As we get closer to the release, we can speculate more. I'm still eagerly anticipating HITS predicts for Faith.
To our chart watchers here--any idea where Gretchen might land and where this single is standing compared to her others and other big singles this year?

After listening to HFTP again, the last half of that album is stellar. If her sopho effort is as good as that, she will be well on her way to becoming a true superstar.

Gretchen is good, I have her first album but if that new single is example of her sophomere effort, I'll pass. Bring On Faith.
I agree with something I read it seems like a rip off in sound of Montgomery Gentry's song, "All night Long".

Gretchen Wilson's New Video Premieres Exclusively on CMT.com
"All Jacked Up" is the First Video and Title Track From Her New Album "All Jacked Up," the first video from Gretchen Wilson's upcoming album, premieres exclusively on CMT.com beginning Friday at 12:01 a.m. CT in advance of its Aug. 4 world TV premiere on CMT.
The video features cameo appearances by Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels and Larry the Cable Guy. "All Jacked Up" is the title track of Wilson's second Epic Records album, set for release Sept. 27.
The hard-driving song has been receiving an enthusiastic crowd response each night during Wilson's opening sets on Kenny Chesney's Somewhere in the Sun tour. Epic will begin seeking radio airplay for the single on Monday (Aug. 1).
"These songs are an extension of who I am," Wilson recently told CMT Insider while on the production set for the new video. "They're really close to me, so I want to be as involved as I can in the creative part of the video because I wouldn't want them to do something that's just not natural for me. So it's not that I write the [video's] story line, but I tweak them just to make them a little bit more at home for me."
The new video gives Wilson an opportunity to share the screen with one of the nation's newest sex symbols.
"I get to flirt with Larry the Cable Guy," she said. "We do a little flirting at the bar. He's got his woman here who's a little bit big and mean and jealous. I don't want to tell all the secrets and stories, but it should turn out to be a lot of fun."
All Jacked Up, the album, is the follow-up to Here for the Party, Wilson's quadruple-platinum debut release that netted a series of hits, including "Redneck Woman, "When I Think About Cheatin'," "Homewrecker" and the title track.

Actually, Ms. Twain's highest debut remains her 1997 smash 'Love Gets Me Every Time' which debuted @ #20 in R&R.
It also wound up #2 for the year in BB, thanks to a five-week stay @ #1, vs. a one-week stay @ #1 in R&R.

But if I am not mistaked, Gonna Getcha is her highest BB debut, and by looking at Wilson's audience, she's headed up there.

Lyrics-
5 pm rolls around There’s a little ole’ joint outside of town I only got time for a couple of beers And the jukebox song ringing in my ear
Next thing you know The bartenders pouring Shots a’ flowing Dr. Skoal man All I know is I should be goin’ But I’m soaking up the moment
I’m all jacked up All jacked up Don’t believe I’ve had ever this much But one thing I’ve learned when you get tore up Time sure flies when you’re All jacked up
It was getting’ mighty close to 9 o clock What the hell I’ll have one more shot Then I winked at a boy at the end of the bar I guess I might musta gone just a little too far ‘Cause a big ole girl walked outta the blue 10 foot two with a bad attitude Stepped right up knocked out my tooth I guess I had it comin’ I deserved it too cause I was
All jacked up All jacked up Don’t believe I’ve ever had this much One thing I’ve learned when you get tore up Don’t start no stuff when you’re All jacked up
Don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here That’s what they said when I got my last beer Oh my god it’s two o’clock I can’t find my keys and my truck’s locked So I grabbed a tar tool and broke my window Hurt my elbow, got me in though Two foot later backed into the light pole All town folk got a good show
All jacked up All jacked up Don’t believe I’ve ever had this much One thing I’ve learned when you get tore up Don’t drive your truck when you’re All jacked up
Jacked up (All jacked up) (All jacked up)
One thing I’ve learned when you get tore up Don’t start no stuff when you’re all jacked up One thing I’ve learned when you get tore up Don’t drive you’re car Don’t start no stuff in no bar Hell I wouldn’t even tell anybody where you are When you’re al-l-l-l-l jacked up
All jacked up (all jacked up) All jacked up (all jacked up) All jacked up Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

The lyrics do nothing to make it more appealing, still don't like it. Seems like retread ground for her and what makes it worse ti seems to copy Montgomery's Gentry song in sound.

I am so sick of this "I'm country, so you can kiss my ass" mantra...It's old and she did it better with RNW. This one is just a re-tread that's probably going straight to number one. Yawn.

I am probably in the minority here when I say that my favorite single off the first album was Homewrecker. She wasn't screaming and just sang the song unlike Cheating and Redneck. This song is really bad imo but maybe she has two or three Homewrecker sounding songs. I didn't buy the first album and based off of this song I sure won't be buying the new one.

I was also a fan of Homewrecker, and it's the only single of hers that I've liked so far. She did a fair job of sounding like Natalie Maines on it, and I like the way she enunciates "ruin".
This new song is a complete mess, and I'd dub it as "this year's Stays In Mexico", only without the measured displays of subtlety and restraint.

Her cheating song wasn't about cheating. Her good-time songs are loud but dreary. Homewrecker was a decent effort. I liked what she projected when she won her award -- she was genuine and natural on stage. But her music is all about the marketing. Enjoy the money while it's coming in, Gretchen.

Oh yeah, no doubt about it, she's sounded like Natalie Maines from day one. I agree, the marketing machine is busy at work here. But good for her, I guess. I don't care for it too much, but hell, at least she breaks up the set list on the radio so I'm not hearing Toby and Kenny as much.

With all due respect to her fans, IMO, she's a gimmick. Most of her songs are novelty numbers. I just don't care for her.

Homewrecker was my favorite song off her debut effort and a great single.
This one doesn't really do it for me. I still see it ending up at #1, though.
