Love, love this album. This isn't my favorite, but it is still really good.

My favorites on this album are "Champagne", "11", "This Car", this one, and the current single. So I'm glad that the next single is one of those, but the whole thing is great. I really hope she can grab another hit with this one. I'm also hoping "Wasting" can hold on for another week or two and peak a little higher into the top 10

Love it! I hope this does great for her as well. I really loved Wasting All These Tears and her album is certainly on my list of ones to check out.

Not surprised. A good, spring/summer type of song and it should sell as well.

Thanks for the mention,sabre14. I actually saw that interview last month after she performed this song on The Voice but I didn't think it will do as a confirmation here. I expected this one as the next single upon listening to the whole album back in October, since I think this will sell well and it is more like Cassadee's previous music than other songs on the album so that will be great even for her Hey Monday fans. I still think WATT is way better than this though.

I just listened to this for the first time. It started off pretty promising, but when it got to the chorus...wow, I can barely hear what she is singing through all the noise. Normally I have that issue when there is so much production. In this case, the chorus is a little over-produced, but she's also singing so high, and the tone of her voice just doesn't work well with so much going on in the background. She can clearly sing at a higher register, but in the chorus it just sounds like she is straining to be heard over all the background noise.
This isn't my favorite style of country music, but maybe it will grow on me. I think Cassadee has the potential to have some lasting success in the country genre, and so I wish I liked her material more than I do. Her voice, although not very country-sounding, is pretty good and pretty unique, but I think this song is hurt by the arrangement, particularly during the chorus, because I did like the verses well enough.

Whoa, overproduced is right. Dann Huff even thinks this is a bit much (actually, he probably said "challenge accepted"). I like her voice a lot, much more than on her first single. That said, anything this poorly produced will be an instant station changer for me.

In case we needed another illustration of country radio's growing distance from country music: Ashley Monroe is seen as so far removed from what country radio will play that her label (Warner Brothers Nashville) didn't bother to promote a single from her universally-lauded Like a Rose album, so she has to settle for a pop-rock singer singing a pop-rock version of a song that she co-wrote getting the full promotion treatment instead. Ashley Monroe can't get airplay consideration from country radio despite being at or near the top of virtually every 2013 best-of-country list, but Cassadee Pope can with a song that Ashley co-wrote, despite Cassadee not being remotely country. The melody of the chorus is quite appealing to me here. But I agree with jhomes87 and kw9461 that Dann Huff's overproduction is distracting, and results in Cassadee oversinging the choruses and (especially) the last third of the song. She also sounds overly mechanical during the quiet verses, as if the tempo has been artificially slowed down for her. I agree that Cassadee can sing, but this song exposes her weakness as an interpreter. I understand the desire for more female voices on the format but I can't get excited about Cassadee's candidacy for acceptance at country radio. If country radio were interested in playing country music, she would have no place in the format.

I think they either need to cross-promote this to Pop or send "Wasting All These Tears" there especially considering that something as bad as "Cruise" could crossover.

This sounds like something Randy Houser would have recorded a few years ago...nothing but yelling through the chorus. Next, please...

I'm quite disappointed with the music video. There's nothing really special with this one. However, I agree Cassadee is really gorgeous especially in this music video.

Fantastic video! I love everything about it. Very well-done and the imagery was stunning throughout, though the giant heart-shaped cage and the little heart lights were my favorites (especially at the end when she smashes one with her heels).

I got to see Cassadee a couple of months ago in a small acoustic setting, and I really enjoyed her voice and style, but I don't think she has chosen the right singles thus far.
This and "Wasting All these Tears" don't even seem like they are trying to sound like country songs, and I don't think that is going to work well in the long run with creating her brand. I know she is from Hey Monday and has that rock background, but these songs don't show that she is serious about making it in a country music (though they are A LOT better than 99% of the "bro" songs out there).
I don't think going the fake route is a good option either (Jana Kramer's "accent" comes to mind here), but she needs to have songs more loyal to the genre if she wants to have real staying power. Personally I think "11", "One Song Away" and "Easier to Lie" would have all been better options.

Personally I think "11", "One Song Away" and "Easier to Lie" would have all been better options. With the exception of "11," the rest of the album does lean toward the pop-rock side of the spectrum, but it still sounds like a good middle ground between that and country music to me. The production on WATT has several prominent country elements in it that work very well in the song, imo, and the intro music in particular is actually my favorite part of the entire song. And then this single (IWICBYH) also features a riff in the middle of the chorus that is a common one that I know I've heard in many a country song before this, in example. That part always stands out to me. I definitely feel like her sound as grown on me a lot from when I first heard her music, but I am in love with her album now, and I feel like they've done a great job with her material so far. Danielle Bradbery's album (for instance) sounds much more "country" by traditional standards/expectations, but the music on Frame By Frame is a strong, cohesive effort and in today's country radio climate, I feel like she's going in a good direction. I'm all about traditional-leaning country music, but Cassadee seems to be doing her and doing it well, so I have no complaints. There's also no shortage of good single choices -- literally everything on the album sounds like it could be a hit single, imo.

I picked up my friend (who hates anything and everything country music) for dinner last night and I had my iPhone on shuffle and when this song came on she said, "WHAT are we listening to." So maybe it sounds more country than we think Anyway, loved the video - Cassadee looks gorgeous in it and I 100% think this was the right choice for single #2. I think her sound is actually going to work really well with today's country sound and I think this will definitely be another top 20 hit for her. Then she can follow it up with the spectacular "11" (it gives me hope that it may actually happen because she sang it at the New Faces show at CRS along with the singles and "You Hear a Song"). But Cassadee's entire album is great, there is little room to go wrong when choosing singles for her.

I'm really enjoying this one. I'll admit that this song is a little loud and Cassadee Pope does sound like she's screaming a bit in the chorus, but I love the lyrics and melody. I see another Top 10 in Cassadee's near future.

The song is climbing on Country Radios, but need a performance now to increase digital sales. I really believe that "I Wish I Could Break Your Heart" can be a hit.

I think it's really cool that Ashley Monroe had a hand in writing this. I never noticed until she posted something about the track on her Facebook the other day and I almost didn't believe it because I thought I would've already known that by now!
