I definitely think the track listing will come out next week. I think (and I hope) they're saving all the promo for the last couple of weeks before the release.
Not releasing promo tracks is such a mistake.

Maybe Big Machine wants to milk out "Shake It Off" as it is still top 2 digital tracks. Could be a reason why no 2nd single has been released yet.

Yeah but by doing that they're hurting the album sales. The hype could be way bigger.

They said to look over iTunes cause now iTunes has a countdown for her CD. Could that mean no 2nd single at all then. :'( Could it be possible that this album could leak before the tracklisting ever comes out? Usually albums leak 4-5 Days before hand. Also interesting is that the International Itunes have the Deluxe version while the US Itunes only has the Standard version on it. Could Taylor pull a part-Beyonce and release the album without a tracklisting? Hmm.... The deluxe version is gonna be sell in Target as usual (exclusively)

Taylor was today promoting "Shake It Off" in the UK, where she performed it at the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, as well as "Riptide" by Vance Joy.

Congrats to Taylor! Taylor Swift Named The 2014 Billboard "Woman Of The Year" Seven-Time Grammy-Winning Artist is the First Artist in Billboard's History to be Twice Awarded this Honor Swift to be Honored at 9th Annual Billboard Women in Music Awards in New York City on December 12 Share with LinkedIn NEW YORK, Oct. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Billboard, the leading global destination for charts, news, trends, and innovations in music, announced today that global superstar Taylor Swift will accept its 2014 Woman of the Year Award. Billboard will present the seven-time Grammy-winning artist with the award at the ninth annual Women in Music event, which takes place Dec. 12 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, and is presented by American Express. The event marks the first time in Billboard history that an artist will be given the award a second time. The Billboard Woman of the Year Award honors a female artist who has shaped and inspired the music industry with her success, leadership and innovation over the past twelve months. Past winners include Pink, Katy Perry, Fergie, and Beyonce. The event is held in conjunction with the much-anticipated publication of Billboard's Women in Music Power Players list, which recognizes the top female music executives leading the industry with their artistic and business vision. Recipients of the Billboard Rising Star and Icon awards, as well as Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Country Artist of the Year, will be announced in coming weeks. "As one of the most influential artists of her generation, Taylor Swift has seen incredible success on the Billboard charts," said Janice Min, co-president and chief creative officer of Guggenheim Media's Entertainment Group, which consists of Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter. "Over the course of her career, she's charted 60 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 -- the most of any female artist since her debut in 2006. We are tremendously excited to be honoring her as the 2014 Billboard Woman of the Year for the second time." Taylor Swift is a seven-time Grammy winner, and the youngest recipient in history of the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. She is the best-selling digital music artist of all time, and the only female artist in music history (and just the fourth artist ever) to twice have an album hit the 1 million first-week sales figure (2010's Speak Now and 2012's RED). Swift made her latest chart headlines when her newest single "Shake It Off," became her second Billboard Hot 100 No. 1, reigning for two weeks in September, following her first chart topper "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" in 2012. Swift, who holds the all-time revenue record for a single tour by a country artist, is the only female artist to collect five top 10 hit singles from each of her first two studio albums on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. She also holds the record for the most debuts inside the top 10 – a hefty 12 – by any artist in the history of the Hot 100. With 11 songs on the Nov. 13, 2010 Hot 100, she set the mark for the most titles charted simultaneously on the tally by a female artist. Swift's latest album "1989" will be released on October 27, 2014. "On behalf of American Express, I would like to congratulate Taylor Swift on this incredible honor," said Deborah Curtis, vice president of entertainment and sports marketing at American Express. "We are proud to be a long-time partner of Taylor's and are thrilled for her continued success and well-deserved recognition as Billboard's Woman of the Year." Billboard has scored major news-generating covers recently, including Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Shakira, Idina Menzel, Iggy Azalea, Pharrell Williams, Tom Petty, Mick Jagger, and Miranda Lambert. Hitting a record-setting number of 13 million monthly unique visitors to its website in August 2014, Billboard has seen a 55% year-over-year growth of its online readership. In the same month, Billboard surpassed 3 million followers on Facebook. About Billboard Billboard is the world's most influential music brand, built on the most complete and well-respected database of charts across all music genres. The Billboard charts define success in music. From the iconic Billboard magazine to Billboard.com which is the ultimate consumer-facing destination for millions of passionate music fans, to the industry's most elite conference series and influencer events including the Power 100 and Women in Music – the Billboard brand has unmatched authority among fans, artists and the industry alike. Taylor Swift's "Shake it Off" leapfrogs "All About That Bass," holds off "Black Widow" to reach #1 at pop.Since its August debut, Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” has been considered a lock to reach #1 at pop radio. The inevitability of that reality came into question this week, when Iggy Azalea’s “Black Widow (featuring Rita Ora),” the number three song on Mediabase’s rolling pop airplay chart, began moving at a faster pace than the runner-up “Shake it Off.” If the two songs held their respective rates of growth, it would have been “Black Widow”–not “Shake it Off”–that leapfrogged Meghan Trainor’s multi-week leader “All About That Bass” for the top spot. It was a legitimate concern. But in the spirit of Swift’s new song, the appropriate response was to “Shake it Off.” Sure enough, the portrait began changing as the week progressed. Swift’s “Shake it Off” began making comparable or even bigger gains than Azalea’s tune and thus kept itself at a distance. Those gains gave it the push it needed to finally leapfrog Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass.” According to Mediabase, Swift’s “Shake it Off” was pop radio’s most-played song between October 4 and October 10. While its advantage is not dominant, it is significant enough that “Shake” should possess that spot when the chart goes official Sunday evening. “Shake it Off” received 17,425 spins during the aforementioned tracking period, while Trainor’s “Bass” was good for 17,248. Azalea’s “Black Widow” received 17,051. Interestingly, “Shake it Off” commanded the fewest audience impressions during that frame. While “Bass” reached 113.70 million and “Widow” scored 111.95 million, “Shake it Off” was only good for 110.05 million. – Swift’s song also remains the leader at Hot AC radio. Its spin count of 6,726 between October 4 and 10 bests the 6,534 earned by Trainor’s “All About That Bass.” headlineplanet.com/home/2014/10/11/taylor-swifts-shake-hits-1-pop-still-leads-hot-ac/

Two hours post clip and we don't have fans breaking down with shrieks of disappointment or cries of excitement and satisfaction? No assessments of potential chart performance and peaks? My god Tay nation....smh.

YESSSS TayTay...take those Bleachers rejects! Seriously though, I'm here for it. Bleachers>>>>fun. anyway. Am I the only person hoping that Taylor never goes back to country? Seriously, at this point, why bother? People that I know who HATE country refused to acknowledge her until her singles from Red. The more fans, the more money. The more money, the more $10 million dollar NYC apartments and lux homes in RI she can afford. Why not?!

Pop is fickle. If she completely abandons country then she'll be left with no other format to support her when the pop audience decide to move on. It's my expectation she'll keep country in her back pocket.

It kind of sucks, but I'm not worried or freaking out because it didn't get the best reaction from those who went to the listening sessions and it's only one of the two Jack Antonoff songs, so it probably doesn't represent the record as a whole. If there's another promo single, it'll probably be a Max Martin track, which will be more in the vein of the rest of the CD.
I mean, it sounds like it could easily fit on Red, so I can see why they're releasing this.

The clip sounds fantastic to my ears, and definitely doesn't sound like it could be on Red (what?!). I'm glad she went the influenced by the 80s route instead of making songs that sound like they could have been lifted straight from that time.
Wasn't feeling Shake It Off (still don't), but this has made me super excited for the album.

My god Tay nation....smh. This is not a single :v I believe this can go 300-350k. A top 5 debut on lock if they count the sales of pre-orders. I never saw something official official if you know what i mean

Was ambivalent on first listen but loved it by the second. She never lets me down.
I hope there aren't any more repetitive choruses on the album, though.

Anyone having issues getting the single if you have already pre-ordered the album? If pop bars are any indication, there's a few hours of lag before it will kick in.
