did Marron 5 - Love Somebody make top 5 CHR? It was a big radio hit, and was very forgettable.

Here's some more top 10s from the last 10 years not mentioned above that I either remember and haven't heard at all in a long time (which may be due to my personal tastes and listening habits, not necessarily to what radio actually plays) or looked back at the top 40 chart and thought "That was a hit? Did I miss something"?:
"Move Ya Body"-Nina Sky "Baby It's You"-Jojo "Ridin'"-Chamillionaire "Sugar (Gimme Some)"-Trick Daddy "Do It To It"-Cherish "What You Got"-Colby O'Donis "Gallery"-Mario Vasquez "Knock You Down"-Keri Hilson "Get It Poppin"-Fat Joe/Nelly "How Do You Sleep?"-Jesse McCartney "Love In this Club"-Usher (he gets a lot of recurrent play, but this somehow seems to have slipped through the cracks) At one time I would have said "Walk Away (Remember Me)" by Paula DeAnda, but that one (from 2006-07) I have actually heard recurrently on my local CHR within the last few years.

Natalie takes the cake for most forgotten top-10 artist of all time. Mostly because of that forgettable name. Anybody want to fill me in on the story with what happened to her?
I forgot how urban CHR was 2003-2005, damn!

Nuh-uh. I actually remember Toya. YASSS! I put I DO!! on my youtube playlist just a few weeks ago. "Watch me pop, pop my hips as I dip and roll!" I definitely didn't know it hit the CHR top 10, though.

I forgot how urban CHR was 2003-2005, damn! According to Wikipedia, Natalie put out a followup album in 2006 which flopped, and has since worked as a songwriter for EMI. As for new recordings, "she is currently working on new material in 2010, which may be released sometime in the future." Four years later, don't hold your breath. I had long forgotten about "Goin' Crazy", so I looked it up on YouTube, listened to it several times, and still can't remember how it goes, which probably says something about how memorable it ultimately was. And yes, it's surprising in retrospect how much hip-hop/rap was then on CHR, to the point that CHR sometimes seemed almost indistiguishable from Rhythmic save for some big hits by Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Hoobastank, Avril Lavigne, Green Day, etc.

Another one I found: "What's Left Of Me" by Nick Lachey, which peaked at #5 in 2006.
"Shake It" by Metro Station, which peaked at #4 in 2008, could also fit this criteria.

The most forgettable band to ever hit top 10 on CHR, in my opinion, is Saving Abel. They hit #8 with Addicted and vanished completely afterwards.

What's Left Of Me might be the winner of this thread. Also that brings me to mention "Irresistible" by Jessica Simpson which got all the way to 2 in the summer of 2001 and I don't think I ever heard again after.

I don't think a Jessica Simpson song (or any Simpson tbh) has ever been played in CHR radio since "A Public Affair".
Speaking of which, I found another #1 that I barely hear now: "Leavin'" by Jesse McCartney.

Once in a while maybe "With You" gets heard recurrently (probably at more AC-ish formats), but almost nothing else. Anyone who thinks they've heard "Take My Breath Away" since the mid-2000s almost certainly heard the original by Berlin from the 1986 "Top Gun" soundtrack. I virtually never hear any of Miley Cyrus' pre-2013 songs anymore, except for "Party In the USA".

Irresistible faded into the black long before "I think I'm in love with you" and yes The Climb and See you Again definitely qualify

Try to find a Jesse McCartney song playing on something other than Radio Disney and then talk to me about "faded away". Another one I found: "What's Left Of Me" by Nick Lachey, which peaked at #5 in 2006. "Shake It" by Metro Station, which peaked at #4 in 2008, could also fit this criteria. Four years after, "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster The People does the same thing. In CHR, at least. It peaked at #3, I believe, in 2011 and barely a song by them has been played unless in HAC or Alternative. Hell, "Coming Of Age" didn't even touch CHR.

Irresistible (and its ridiculous Stronger ripoff video) and Goin Crazy are the only songs mentioned so far that I actually forgot about. Both were so, so terrible.

Boy Krazy - "That's What Love Can Do" (1993) - I've discussed this with some people on another board, and we agreed that this is the most obscure CHR #1 ever.

I believe if I remember correctly this hit top 5. Correct me if I'm wrong but Shinedown - Second Chance.

Peaked at #9: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiZ12FFy6UM&feature=kpI think the most recent "Forgotten" Top 5 is "Good Time." In three years no one will know what that song was. I believe if I remember correctly this hit top 5. Correct me if I'm wrong but Shinedown - Second Chance. That was so inescapable and durable that even if I don't hear it again for ten years (and I hope I don't) it still won't feel "forgotten."

Whoever said Ridin' is clearly mistaken, that's one of the most remembered tbh! Many people still talk about that song today! I hear it all the time!

Not people listing CLASSICS like "Stickwitu", "Dangerous" and "Move Ya Body". I rebuke it!
And the Successica Legendson hate in this thread is unacceptable.
