3oh!3 themselves are not forgotten though, when you bring them up people are still like 'I used to love 3oh!3'!
And I think honestly any songs that have the combo of low sales with enough airplay to peak at #4 or #5 are guaranteed candidates.

I haven't heard "Whistle" by Flo Rida in awhile. That hit #1 in summer 2012.

I'm pretty sure "Burn" by Ellie will sadly fall into the forgotten category. As for other recent hits, Til The World Ends, I Wanna Go, Hot N Cold, We R Who We R, Blackout (Breath Carolina)--I think that made top 5? I am going by radio airplay. Not sure if these songs still do well in clubs.

^ "Blackout" didn't come close to the top 5.
And you're saying "Hot N Cold" is forgotten? Wut?

Go ahead and list those I wanna hear them! "Sunshine," Lil' Flip "(There's Gotta Be) More to Life," Stacie Orrico "If U Seek Amy," Britney Spears "Hey Ma," Cam'ron "Hey Baby," Pitbull ft T-Pain "International Love," Pitbull ft. Chris Brown Oh and here's one that actually qualifies... "Dangerous," Kardinal Offishall ft. Akon OMG! Stacie Orrico - that was so my jam back then. Haha totally forgotten. And I would agree with whomever said "Hot and Cold" - at least it feels that way in my neck of the woods. In fact, that goes for all singles from that album. Again, at least where I live.

"Hold It Against Me" got more gold plays than TTWE tbh

Blue October - Hate Me, which is also one of the most baffling crossovers ever. There's nothing "pop" about this song at all. Plus the singer looks like the bad guy from Zoolander. It only hit 17 but the stations near me still play it as a gold.

Now that I think about it, this might be the inverse of the title (a low peaking song that stations still play).

Lol I remember most of the songs people are speaking of very well. Maybe it's because I'm 37 and remember most of these songs very well. However even after watching the video I can Barely remember Natalie "Goin Crazy". The sad thing is I think I remember the little skit/intro of the video more than the actual song.

"Sex & Candy" is still definitely remembered, same with "Save Tonight" and "Crush". I always thought the latter 2 were Hot AC / AC staples, and the former an alternative / Hot AC staple.

Out of 2014's hits. I see "Don't Tell 'Em", "Blame," "Rather Be", and "Waves" are destined to be the most forgotten. Least memorable #1 is "Not a Bad Thing"
2013..."The Other Side" is forgettable. Maroon 5's hits aren't holding up like their 2012 hits. Even "Applause" seems quite forgotten for a Gaga song. Least memorable #1 would probably be "Daylight."
2012..."Good Time" is so forgotten that Carly is thought of as a 1HW (Owl City seems fine, though). "Ass Back Home" is also really forgettable. As for #1s...the massive success of 1D has completely wiped out anyone's memory of "Glad You Came".
