Why isnt there any hype for this? Gwen could at least mention the release of her new single on Facebook.

Why isnt there any hype for this? Gwen could at least mention the release of her new single on Facebook. She has yet to acknowledge this song existence but that will FINALLY end Monday Morning as Ryan Seacrest just announced she will be in his studio discussing "Baby Don't Lie" for his syndicated Radio show ON AIR WITH RYAN SEACREST. Will be nice to hear her discuss her own music.

I see the Rude Boy/Lose Control beat makes its return. Nostalgia indeed.
I like it, though! Just happy to have her back.
OK, this knocks. Sounds so good on headphones. A great song for the winter.
I give her an edge over Fergie's single.

The beginning reminds of me Burn.
I like it and it shits all over Fergie's mess single.

This is so funky, but so Gwen! This is a jam. When she says "Uh-huh" in the beginning, major Hollaback Girl tees.
I think this will be her most successful lead single to date.

I just hope radio is on board for Gwen, she's a woman of a certain age and we know how pop radio feels about that.
But could you imagine if this had been the Shakira/Rihanna collaboration single? That would have been the stuff of legend.

It reminds me of Ellie Goulding's Burn. I like it.

YESSSS!!!! Sounds catchy groovy :) Nothing revolutionary again but to me sounds very Latino, which I love! Yeah, sounds like something that Shakira could've recorded. Gives me Whenever Wherever and Hips Don't Lie vibes. The rhythm has some influence from bouncy South American dances. I actually hope her team suggests her to do some Latin remixes to this. I can already hear something with pan flutes which could be huge for the Andean market :)

That would have been the stuff of legend. Gwen has that eternal youth thing going for her, most people wouldn't even guess she's 40. I was talking about her with a friend the other day who is a Voice fan, she could have swore Gwen was 34, even called me a liar when I said she's in her 40's. I'm hoping she won't have any problems.

I don't know anything currently on radio that sounds very similar to this. Nice work, Gwen.

I prefer Gwen's single to Fergie's; that one is just wack. The only thing that annoys me on this is the autotune. Other than that, I'm really feeling this.

I haven't heard the song yet but I bet it peaks at #14 quickly and then tumbles.

Eh. That basically sums up my first impression. It isn't bad, but it isn't very good, either. It's just...average. Why are the 2006-era divas (Fergie, Gwen, Nelly) serving such mediocre shit? It's so disappointing, especially considering they all had excellent material back in the day. imo this s**t's all over that LA Love thing. As much as I was underwhelmed by 'LA Love', it's way better than this. I've always preferred Fergie to Gwen, though.
