I'm a Maroon 5 fan, but I couldn't even make it through the chorus on this one. This is easily their worst single in quite some time, and who ever made the decision to release this over "It Was Always You" should be canned immediately.

Seeing a song flop has never felt so satisfying.

This should definitely end their 9 song top ten streak on CHR. And the sad thing is, they could've easily kept it going into next era with IWAY and Unkiss Me/Coming Back for You as the 4th and 5th singles.

-46 today. If this is done, it will be their third-lowest peaking single on Pop and I think their first not to chart on the Hot 100.

It regained its bullet. It's at +108. I don't see this going much higher. Maybe a peak towards the mid-20s? I'm a little bit surprised this had terrible callouts, when I thought this was one of the highlights of the album, albeit I didn't think this was a suitable single choice. Again, this is all karma for not releasing "It Was Always You" when they should have. "Coming Back For You" would have been a good choice too. They really f*cked up trying and failing with this and "This Summer's Gonna Hurt". There were much better choices left for singles #4 and #5.

Well, it never actually lost its bullet, the -46 was the daily update. The bullet is actually down 85 today, it was +193 yesterday. I'm not even sure TSGH would have peaked this low, had it originally been on the album and never had a deal or big release like it did.

This has actually grown on me lately. WTF?
It took like five million listens though, so I'm not surprised it's stalling.

Good riddance. They totally deserved to flop after ignoring "It Was Always You" two times in a row!!

I like Maroon 5 a lot, but this song is absolutely terrible, as was their last one. Sugar, on the other hand, was awesome. I think they need to take a little break -- let us miss you a little bit

This is why "It Was Always You" should have been released.

"If you want me take me home and let me use you." Ugh, that's like some straight up 1950's level misogyny. Their lyrics this era on the singles as a whole have been atrocious all around. Adam either comes off like a horny teenage boy, an idiot misogynist, or a creepy sexual predator on all of them except Maps. Great post. I'm not sure if my tastes have just changed since Overexposed, but this was a terrible era for them as far as I'm concerned. I hope that they overhaul their approach come next album cycle - especially lyrically - but I'm not optimistic.

So I'm assuming nothing else will be released from the album. A huge era just hit a brick wall after "Sugar" was the biggest hit and the third single.

This Summer's Gonna Hurt and Feelings were huge mistakes. It Was Always You is such an obvious choice, how did it get passed up?

Really, they wouldn't have fucked up this era if "This Summer..." never happened.

Really, they wouldn't have f**ked up this era if "This Summer..." never happened. That and not releasing "It Was Always You"

WelpTo be used in place of 'well', when one feels there is no more to say. This word was originally brought to the peoples' attention in 1994, from Jim Carrey in the cult classic, Dumb & Dumber. This is simply one of the many words and phrases that continue to be used in teen conversation today. Initial use of/birth of the word: "Hey fellas. Big Gulps, huh? Welp, see ya later!" Other examples: "'Eyy, Jim! I just finished the job on that engine repair, so, feel free to take the credit for it as usual! Welp, That's my queue to leave, so, I suppose I'll see your rotten self tomorrow! Later!" www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Welp

I actually really like this is that bad? Yeah, this song has been on my party playlists for a while and fits in nicely next to Back Together by Robin Thicke, Downtown by Macklemore, etc.

I like "Feelings", but there are probably better single choices left on V than this and "This Summer's Gonna Hurt". This isn't the first time this has happened with M5; everyone here wanted "Lucky Strike" from "Overexposed" which wasn't released. (Personally, I preferred "The Man Who Wouldn't Lie" and think it would have worked.)

lol so I guess I was right that I thought this would end up getting pulled. It just happened later in its run than I thought it would.
