So how many weeks would Uptown Funk have gotten on the Hot 100 without that rule? 76 weeks. 3rd longest ever so far ties with I'm Yours, only behind Radioactive and Sails.

I see in the other thread what boosted "My Boo"- do people really see that thing and want to buy the song? Cause the dancing surely wasn't anything special

Well... I guess Hotline Bling finally got its revenge from being blocked from #1 by Hello. Too bad it's on the Recurrent chart. It was originally blocked by The Hills (and actually the last week of The Hills at #1 is when Hotline Bling should've been #1...there's no way in hell that Hotline Bling was bigger than Hello in any given week of Hello's existence lol)

OMG Selena is free falling! Who was #25 last week? And why Really Really re-enter the Hot 100 if it spent more than 20 weeks in the chart and still out of top 50?

Stitches holding on real well on this chart. Guess without the 25/52 rule Stitches is at 57 weeks now. Guess it's getting "revenge" from getting completely blocked from #1 on the BB Hot 100 by The Hills, Hotline Bling, What Do You Mean, Hello, Sorry, etc.

NOOO STITCHES... With Exchange above Stitches, the latter would've fallen out of the hot 100 this week. 57 weeks for that song if no new recurrent rule...

^^not necessarily, because Exchange got a nice boost this week because of the BET Awards. I think if it wouldn't have fallen off last week, it could have been in the top 40 of this week's chart.

I wonder what caused UF's latest resurgence? Was there some viral video or performance somewhere? I swear, that song's had about 5 comebacks so far.
