this looks like it could be something maybe, license plate on the car says 02.15 so new music on Thursday? Hope it's a big step up from "Dig Down" but looks pretty thematically similar, so who knows

Lol !the cover looks like one for a new Freeweight's song. They do 80's synthop style, so that would be a huge step up from "Dick Down"

I would be looking forward to this but that cover art does not look promising.

I'm always expecting more than any other band when it comes to Muse...but "Dig Down" has lessened my excitement. I really hope this is better.

I would be looking forward to this but that cover art does not look promising. I'm actually exited about the sleeve art. It screams synthpop. Anything sounding like Freeweights material would be amazing.

I don't expect much from Muse anymore. I'm going to see them live again so hopefully they leave their electronic shit at the door.

Don't like it. Falls too far into that try-hard-anthemic and try-hard-sing-along sound of many songs which are produced when the artist is apparently desperate for the song to be as catchy as possible and hopefully take off. The backing "ohhhhhhhhh"s in the chorus alone... And the instrumentation is weak IMO... Sigh...

This honestly sounds like a Fall Out Boy song with Muse's lyrics. I mean it's not nearly as bad as them, but no way is this the band that gave us "Supermassive Black Hole" and "Stockholm Syndrome".

this is better than "Dig Down" but it's still not great. I wish they used an actual snare noise instead of the "clap" thing, undermines any type of epic energy they're going for. Also not sure if Doc will enjoy those hi-hats.

It's not bad but a little different from them. Never really has that one "moment" to make it really special and memorable. The vocals seem a little flat and don't have much emotion. I guess we will see if this grows on me or not.

I'm officially worried about Muse. This is better than "Dig Down", but it almost sounds like if Muse had a baby with Imagine Dragons...and not even the Night Visions-era Imagine Dragons.
Sigh. I don't think they'll ever stop being my favorite band, but I said the same thing about Korn many years ago...

Yeah, I think I'll agree with everyone here, this isn't bad but it's not great. I actually kind of like it though, more than a lot of their similarly styled songs.

What the fuck is this shit.
Yeah, suffice to say I've completely given up on Muse. I doubt I'll even listen to the album. RIP, you used to be a good band.

I don't have a problem with this, and it's certainly better than "Dig Down", but yeah this is not as strong as the other singles from the last 2 albums, particularly "Dead Inside", "Mercy", "Madness", and "Panic Station".

Good song, even though it’s fashionable to hate on them recently.

The only Muse vibe this has, is Matt's vocals. It sounds like the best fall Out Boy song I've heard in the last three years, but that still isn't a compliment. I love Whoa Whoa's, in songs, but that isn't Muse either. I didn't get that Imagine Dragons' vibe, so I don't hate it, but this is just a baby step above "Dig Down". Instead of preserving the Alt sound ,they are helping to kill it. One more of these hybrid, sell out, songs, and I'm adding them to these fallen bands: Coldplay, Thirty Second's To Mars , Theory,

After hearing this, I'd say this is better than "Dig Down". But I'm still not really feeling it.

I'm not even as hype about seeing them live anymore if this is the album they're supporting. It's been eleven years since I last saw them opening for My Chemical Romance. (Boy have things changed).

I'll be the odd man out and say that I like this. It's not the best thing they've ever put out or anything and I certainly hear the fall out boy comparisons, but it still sounds like a Muse song to be and a pretty solid one at that.

I used to adore Muse (all albums up to The Resistance inclusive I loved), so hearing this is pretty depressing. Lost to me.

WTF was that? I thought "Dig Down" was weak for Muse, but not particularly bad in the grand scheme of things. This, on the other hand, is truly awful.
