I was afraid of this one. Its not the worse song by any means, but it just sounds kind of clunky and disorganized. I like the lyrics and idea behind the song, and its refreshing to hear something that is more meaningful, but the song just doesn't move me much. This will probably end up my least favorite Rhett single, probably tied with "Star Of The Show". There are just some obvious better choices left on the album, including "Sixteen" and "Drink A Little Beer".

Not my choice, but I'll take it, it's decent. "Marry Me" was a single and huge, so I don't care anymore. Wonder how this will do. I love the piano line. And the lyrics are sweet. I guess I gotta replace "Sixteen" in my playlists with this now.

I swear to God if "Sixteen" isn't released as a single...

Makes sense, the streaming numbers for this are pretty good. I’d bet on DALB next and Sixteen last (b/c two “life” songs in a row might increase burn rate).

I listened to this today and it’s not a bad single choice IMO. Since “Marry Me” was a ballad, it makes sense to go with something with a little more tempo. I feel like they’ll go at least 5 deep with this album which still leaves the opportunity for “Sixteen” to be released which is definitely the better song quality wise.

I really see the last 2 singles being the other pre-order tracks, Grave and Sixteen. I wouldn't mind either, but really want Drink A Little Beer. :(

I actually like this one quite a lot. I'm sure it will do well for him, but I agree the production is a bit sloppy for me.

I was hoping for "Sixteen", but I do really like this. It's easily my favourite of the singles so far.

I absolutely love this song but am surprised it was picked as a single. It should do fine for him, though it is pretty personal. I love the line "I wrote a little song about holdin' her hand, now everybody wanna Die A Happy Man." Really good stuff.

Ugh, I was really hoping for Sixteen but I get why they released this. It has a chance to be a big time hit. As far as modern country goes, it's quite solid. It has a sing-along catchiness and the lyrics actually have something to say. Still, there's not a shred of country in the production or melody, so it's frustrating from that point of view. I'll just keep wistfully waiting for Sixteen.

I love the line "I wrote a little song about holdin' her hand, now everybody wanna Die A Happy Man." Really good stuff. People are going to eat that line up. I played this right after the album came for a friend for the first time, and she had an audible "woah that was cool" when she heard that line. It basically makes you want to restart the song and listen to it again. In short, this is going to be a smash. And then they will release Sixteen. I think has a little bit of the same message of Five More Minutes, so probably good to give some oxygen on that topic before releasing it.

I gave this one listen and couldn't stand it at all. His worst single since "Vacation" with ease for me. The production on this is a total hot mess and it sounds like a drunk clown produced it. Then it managed to somehow get even worse when that awful pseudo-rap breakdown part about his daughter from Uganda came up. Hard pass from me.

So, his single performance so far has been good.
Craving You: #39 Hot 100, #3 Country, #1 Airplay
Unforgettable: #47 Hot 100, #4 Country, #1 Airplay
Marry Me: #30 Hot 100, #2 Country, #1 Airplay
Now I don't see this getting as big as "Craving You", but it could outpeak "Unforgettable". It'll probably go to #1 on radio regardless.

"When You Look Like That" has been receiving new spins but this is the next single?

"When You Look Like That" has been receiving new spins but this is the next single? I'm okay with that song... But I think it would have been an awful choice. Aside from "Leave Right Now", that could've been the song I see flopping. Not "Vacation" level, of course, but still not as well.

"When You Look Like That" has been receiving new spins but this is the next single? I just saw Thomas Rhett in concert on Friday and when he played “Life Changes” he did take a minute to talk about what the song means to him and such. He did not mention anything, though, about it being his next single. I guess since this song has an add date it makes sense that it is his next single but I figured he would have mentioned something about it if it was. There may be a slight chance of “When You Look Like That” being the new single.

This one is so personal to Thomas Rhett that I didn’t think it’d ever be a single. But hey, it’ll likely do well for him anyway.

Great song, I am ok with almost anything from this album to be released as singles. I really hope he keeps releasing more singles from the album. Remember Shania? She released almost whole albums as singles, why can't Thommy? ♥

It was already confirmed or this thread wouldn’t have existed yet. Lol

^I know, but people were talking about other songs (or how he said nothing about it being a single. So I think it's better to see a confirmation from the artist.

So "Leave Right Now" just got a remix EP that included a radio edit...

And a "Country Edit" #EyeRoll

And a "Country Edit" #EyeRoll I didn't see that, but yeah. The Nashville edit. Why is he doing this if it isn't even a single? Unless he plans to have it being pushed at some point. Seems a little early and pointless though.

...Why did he perform "Marry Me"? I love that song, but I don't see why he didn't use this opportunity to promote "Life Changes".
