I wonder how much of an album Taylor will have considering this is the first time she actually put everything on Spotify day 1 and her songs usually pulled a solid amount of streams.
I'm thinking Lover, You Need To Calm Down and maybe one more make the top 15 at worst

Lizzo just dropped 2 Truth Hurts remixes w/ one of them featuring DaBaby. The 2 remixes and the OG are all discounted on iTunes and sheโs performing at the VMAs this week
Looks like weโre gonna have 3 new #1s 3 weeks in a row

Seรฑorita's also being performed at the VMAs. So, it should be a very competitive week for #1, I'd hope. I thought it was interesting that Lizzo chose VMAs week to gun for the summit. Shawnmila are gonna get a big ass boost with a steamy performance. Taylor will also give her a run for her money with โLoverโ, it being release week and all (it also has the top slot on TTH & Pop Rising & a music video). |

I hope Missy Elliott can do something but I doubt it. However this is 2019 so weโll see The VMAs performance & award (!!!) will boost her, it also helps that she has not become a cringey celebrity as the years have worn on |

honestly i think truth hurts wins over senorita. senoritas spotify lead is very minimal, while truth hurts is leading sales and has quite the strong lead on apple music. airplay is about the same for both and senorita has more youtube streams, which are weighed less than paid streams right? so i think truth hurts wins actually!

Of course we'll have to wait for the streaming numbers before we can consider anything from Lover a serious threat to #1, but I'd love for Taylor to get a #1 from this album.
I think Lizzo has a great chance this week and the next one too. "Seรฑorita" is about to hit the ceiling on Pop radio too which will help "Truth Hurts".

On whether Lover's a threat, it has 1.8 Mill spotify today and it's been around 2/5 US based and it's only the morning. #1 is doubtful but it's holding up real well

Just a fun fact, Post Malone is about to hit his 2nd consecutive year at being in the top 20 next month. He also has a album dropping soon so expect him to remain in the top 20 for a while. Who are some artists that have had the longest consecutive stay within the top 20?

Lover is officially the third single.
I think it will peak this week on the Hot 100, but also have better longevity than the first two singles.

I don't see any Taylor song being a threat to the #1 spot. I do however see Lover and You need to calm down possibly getting pushed into the top ten. This week is between Truth hurts and Seรฑorita.

Listening to "Cruel Summer" for the first time and yeah I get it. Wish it were the opening track, cos honestly "I Forgot That You Existed" nearly made me wanna give up right away. Now watch as "Cruel Summer" never makes it as a single, same as all the best tracks in "Reputation".
Edit: It's too fricking short though, ends rather abruptly. Could use another repeat of the chorus at the end.

Shawnmila and Lizzo fighting for #1 then Taylor is looming in the shadows with the "Lover" album bomb and a #1 possibility? After "Old Town Road"'s 19 weeks, it's interesting and exciting to have a competitive battle at the top spot.
