I don't think this song is as catchy as her previous singles. Finally someone who agrees with me! I like this song, but it's definitely her worst single so far. It doesn't even compare to 'TM', 'TOMG', 'PTB' or 'OS'. I totally agree. I like it better now than I did at first, but it's still easily my least favorite single of hers.

i prefer the live version a little bit more. The studio version does sound kinda like pop.. it's still amazing though and it grows on me :)

I still think 'Fearless' is one of her better songs lyrically and I can't imagine anything else being single #2, though I haven't heard the rest of the album.

I hear this song on Sirius Hits 1 almost as much as I hear it on the country channel! It's a great, fun, upbeat song, and I am completely hooked on it. Have a nice day everyone.

This song is growing on me. But like other have mentioned, the Scarlet Letter reference bothers me.

I've decided that Team Swift is the smartest team of all. Here's why:
The first single is "Love Story" - a catchy, pop-friendly, country song. It's VERY pop-leaning, but it is country nonetheless. Then, "Fearless" was released and it was even more pop, but it still had JUST enough country to pass by. Then, I heard two songs in full on youtube, and they are 100% POP. They are GREAT songs, but they aren't country. First is "White Horse" which is nice, but not country. Then comes the future #1 on pop radio, "You're Not Sorry."
It's like the female counterpart to the song "Apologize." It's a SMASH, but it doesn't sound country. Still, it's a great song. I think the label wants country sales through LS's run, but once it's over with, they will release a very pop single. OR, I could be completely off and they can have half country songs, half pop, and try for the double single. Who knows. Either way, BRILLIANCE!

Yeah all my friends love Taylor, but they do not consider her a country artist at all lol.
After hearing "You're Not Sorry", I agree completely. I love the song, and I still really like Taylor! But she isnt country.

You're Not Sorry sounds very country to me.. just because it's mostly piano doesn't mean it isn't. Taylor said she wrote the song at her piano.

"Fearless" is country, if you take the live version into consideration

i dont care what kind of singer Taylor is. i just love her music I have to agree with you here. At first I resented her for remixing her songs, but, honestly, that was REALLY stupid of me. If she feels like remixing her songs, why not? She puts on some sick songs, so I should just enjoy it. She's hot with catchy songs. Taylor, you hear a country song? I don't. None of it sounds country to me. Honestly, it is VERY reminiscent of "Apologize" to me. (I loved that song and this song is similar, which is probably why I've played this song 15 times today.) :worship:

I'm hardly the biggest Taylor Swift fan but I don't think this song is any more pop than some other songs on country radio.

If Taylor Swift's music isn't considered country then you might as well say that Faith Hill's, Shania Twain's, Keith Urban's, Carrie Underwood's and Rascal Flatt's music aren't country either because they all have made songs that sound like they could easily be released to Pop. Also after hearing songs on this album I can safely say this will probably end up being the best female country album I have heard in a very long time.

I just love her music also! :) But I also agree with the people above that she is VERY pop no matter what way you try to spin it. That is probably why I like listening to her so much. :)

Her album could even top her debut, which I didn't think was possible.

So far, I like 3/4 of the songs released. That's the same amount from last time on the WHOLE CD. YNS is incredibly well done, but it isn't country. Same with Carrie's IKYW; I agree, that isn't country. But either way, they are BRILLIANT songs.
