As long as she makes it, I'll be happy.

I think Taylor is in 5 weeks Nr. 1. I think for Taylor is the "Zac Brown Band" Nr. 1 and "Tim mcGraw".

If Taylor Swift's music isn't considered country then you might as well say that Faith Hill's, Shania Twain's, Keith Urban's, Carrie Underwood's and Rascal Flatt's music aren't country either because they all have made songs that sound like they could easily be released to Pop. Haha, Rascal Flatts definitely isn't country. The same can be said of most of Underwood's catalogue. Hill has released some country, some pop, usually pretty clear what genre she's been doing at any given time. Twain has released a mixture as well with a bit of a blurry distinction between the two. Swift is pretty pop too. Urban's my favourite of this bunch, and while I'd say he's mainly informed by country, some of his songs are more lite rock than anything. I don't see why it's really a big deal, though. Country radio rarely plays straight up country currents anymore. Those wishing it would might as well accept the fact that country music will have to be heard elsewhere, and those getting defensive when artists being played are genre-disputed should recognize that that doesn't really have anything to do with the quality of the music, just category. Or such is my opinion, at least.

"those wanting Country Music should go somewhere else to listen to it? How about leaving Country Music to country and having the Carries and Taylors go somewhere else?

"those wanting Country Music should go somewhere else to listen to it? How about leaving Country Music to country and having the Carries and Taylors go somewhere else? Hey, I'd love for country radio to play country music, but there are two basic options: 1) Piss and moan and not actually hear the music, since things ain't gonna change any time soon. 2) Accept that modern country radio is what it is and hear your music by listening to it via another medium. I choose the latter option because it involves less frustration and more time for me to actually enjoy my music. The method other people choose is up to them, eh?

As much as I'd like to hate this song, I can't do it. She's just got the it factor that transcends song... and the song ain't that bad, even if it is cliche.

I just wish the whole thing was like the 1st verse. The 1st verse is really nice, but then the song drags from there on.

Looks like R&R's Hit Predictor chart is screwed up again, and probably for the second consecutive week, is listing the songs in order by spins, rather than the normal (and Billboard) method of by audience. It is showing Chicken Fried at #2, and Taylor at #3, but I don't believe that. Taylor led Zac by 3.2 mill on last week's Billboard chart, and she gained 1.4 mill on Mediabase for the week, and Zac jumped up 3.2 mill. So with Zac gaining about 1.8 mill on Taylor on Mediabase, I don't believe he was able to wipe out that 3.2 mill Billboard lead, and he'll be at #3 and LS will be at #2, by at least 1.3 mill.
If Taylor's people are competent, they'll bring out the big guns and push for #1 this one week, and then let Zac surge up the following week. It's not often that you see lead singles by the superstars only get a one-week stay at the top (usually 3-4 weeks, or they don't get there at all), but it happened to Sugarland a couple of moths ago with All I Want To Do, and it could very well happen again here.

'You Belong With Me' is #1 on iTunes.. it's funny how her actual single failed to get there but all three of her other songs did.

www.people.com/people/article/0,,20238434,00.html Taylor Swift Talks – and Sings – About Her Split with Joe Jonas By Elaine Aradillas Originally posted Wednesday November 05, 2008 04:50 PM EST Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas Photo by: Larry Busacca / WireImage; Jeff Daly / Getty Taylor Swift is opening up for the first time about her breakup with Joe Jonas – and she's even singing about it on her new album. "[It's] a song about watching somebody completely fade away in a relationship and wondering what you did wrong," Swift, 18, tells PEOPLE about "Forever and Always," the track inspired by her October split with Jonas, 18. The song appears on her new album Fearless, due Nov. 11. Swift also tells PEOPLE that she's not ready to date again and prefers being alone – for now. "I would hate to jump into something so quickly and have it not be the right thing, because I don't think I could take that right now," she says. During their summer romance, neither Swift nor Jonas would admit they were dating. But on Wednesday, Swift finally confirmed that they were a couple, and said Jonas is the only guy who's ever hurt her "deeply." "It's been tough," she said of their breakup while chatting with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show. "You just have to try to realize someday you'll find someone that's right for you." Swift is also using humor to deal with the split. She pokes fun at Jonas in a new vlog on her MySpace page that also features cameos from Selena Gomez and Patrick Dempsey. At the 4:20 mark, Swift holds up a Joe Jonas doll and says, "See, this one even comes with a phone. So he can break up with other dolls." A few scenes later, she holds up a Taylor Swift doll and says, "Stay away from him, ok?"

Taylor has taken over #1 on the Real Time Tracker. The race for #1 next week could be pretty close between "Love Story" and "Chicken Fried."

I hope it makes it to #1. It would be great to have the #1 song the same week her album drops.

"You Belong With Me" is the best song of those released so far, I think. I doubt it will be released as a single, but I'm loving it. "Fearless" is the mega-hit of the album, though.

I really want this to go #1. It's my favorite single from her besides "Should've Said No."
