Britney didn't really deserve those awards, the video was mediocre. I suppose it makes up for losing when her videos were actually top notch.
Christina was a MESS! She lipped, which is sort of pointless given her dancing was about as good as Madonna's usually is, and she blatantly ripped off Lady GaGa.

Honestly I dont get their choice for a host, that guy accent was annoying! Not all the british people sound like that, he was like yelling the whole time for me that was the worst host ever. I dont find him funny at all, and I think the audience there didnt. The Jonas B thing is not that funny, and it was his joke for the all night. Oh and I agree I hate when awards shows do your political jokes (like the emmys or oscars with that guy jon stewart?)

The cracks on the Jonas Brothers were hilarious and Pink stole the show last night!

I actually liked this year's show! Much better than that hotel bulls**t last year. FAVORITE PARTS OF THE SHOW (in no particular order): - Slash<3 - Paramore's performance<3 - Rihanna's performance - Russell Brand's jokes were kinda funny - Jordin saying "not everyone wants to be a slut" - Britney's three wins - Christina's performance <3 Personally, I think Russell was just kidding when he made those cracks at the Jonas Brothers for the promise rings, but I can understand why so many people are pissed at him for saying that. If I were a Jonas Brother I'd probably be offended. LOL i hope im making sense here And I agree POM isn't one of her best videos, but hey, it's better than the Gimme More and Break The Ice videos!

Brintey's video was GREAT! It really had a documentary feel to it. She deserved best video of the year.

Maybe because Bee and JT actually have some noticeable talent? Just because you refuse to acknowledge it doesn't mean she doesn't have it What it is? Being hot and beautiful?

Christina STOLE the show though!!!!! Oh yes. Her lipping while doing recycled dance moves in a costume and hairstlye stolen from Lady Gaga while singing a Rachael Stevens rip-off song was brilliant.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought that. I saw her on the red carpet and was surprised to discover it wasn't Brooke. What the hell happened to her???!! I knew her body would be different since she had a child not too long ago, but combined with that hair style and makeup she looked just like Brooke!! I missed her performance, but from reading here she didn't sing live and used recycled dance moves, which leads one to wonder...... Was it Brooke??

Russell Brand probably was a little too blunt, but he said exactly what the international community think - that George Bush is a comple idiot, and that the only chance of gaining back some respect is to elect Barack Obama. Props to him for that. And Jordin needed to get over herself, just because you have sex before marriage does not make you a slut. To be honest it is a bit sad for someone like Kevin - a 21 year old man, or even Joe, who is 19, to be saving it for marriage, when they are that popular.

Um, Jordin didn't say everyone who doesn't wear a promise ring is a slut. She basically said if you wear a promise ring you don't want to be a slut. Which I think is probably true.

She might as well have said that. There's been a big reaction over this so obviously lots of people do think her comment was wrong.

But it does seem rather sad. I wonder what would happen if those young men broke their promise.

People are taking this way too seriously. Apparently Jordin is the one taking things too seriously. And to think she thought she was being so profound.

Who cares if she worded it poorly? I didn't see anyone else standing up for them at the show, and Jordin is what..17, 18 years old? I'm glad she said something because the host was really getting on my nerves. You go, Jordin!

She literally implied that any person that isn't a prude who wears promise rings or chastity belts or things of the like are whores. Literally. Just no. And that's not even mentioning the fact that she apparently has never heard of humor or stand up comedians. You guys can cry for the kids and praise Jordin all you want, but I can guarantee you that the brothers' most uncomfortable moment last night came when Russell had to apoligize in front of everybody and the camera was put on them.

^ No Jordan was great- she had guts. Everyone on my pop radio station was calling in about it this morning and irrate that he slammed the jonas brothers for that. Also-- they loved what jordan said. I do think it is kind of sweet that there are some teens left in the world like the jonas brothers. Nothing wrong with that.
Put it this way-- I defend everyone who has sex before marriage, as that is our right to do what you want and not be judged.
But I also defend people who choose not sleep around if that is their religious choice. They should not be judged or bashed for something that it is a religous or personal choice.
He was basically saying-- unless you sleep around you are a loser and a dork- and THAT is a terrible message to send to kids. You should be free to do what you like-- and not be humiliated for it before the entire world.
The political speech was so inappropriate too- and way too long.
