so its ok for the long-timers to go off-topic and joke around with someone over a grammar mistake, but its not ok to post daily radio updates. The former is a momentary diversion from people who typically post substantively and analytically, back up their views and aren't here to be cheerleaders and super-fans. Because it's a momentary diversion from people who've proven they can rein themselves in, I'm inclined to be indulgent (to a point, anyway). Daily Mediabase updates would be a regular diversion from people who typically don't post analytically and are often here being cheerleaders and super-fans. So yes, the non-analytical posters, the cheerleaders and the super-fans face more restrictions when they just want to copy a chart available to everyone and not add anything else of substance.

I really appreciate that review. White Horse is such a good song for Taylor because it does increase her depth and thematic issues. But its refreshing to see the "pop/country" issue addressed.

Interesting how the 9513 review and the Country Music review differ so much in terms of the pop/country standpoint. Music is so subjective!

Yes, but some critics are so full of themselves that it boggles the mind that some of them have a real superiority complex.

success = criticism but Taylor has already proven her talent - her first single 'Tim McGraw' is shows amazing songwriting and is a country classic.

Is she making a video for this song? Yeah, she mentioned awhile ago they were planning it out. They probably delayed the shoot a bit since she just got her wisdom teeth out and looked like a chipmunk.

Shooting the video this week! Apparently it was shot on Tuesday..and has Stephen Coletti (Laguna Beach/One Tree Hill) in it...the article is in her album thread.

This song sounds like it was lifted straight off of Faith Hill's "Fireflies" CD -- and that's not a bad thing. Great tune.

This might be my favorite song of Taylor Swift. Looking forward to the video.

Her new album in general really does nothing for me. There's nothing on it that instantly grabbed me like most of the songs on her debut. That said, 'White Horse' is a great song. It just had to grow on me, like 'Love Story' also did.

It just had to grow on me, like 'Love Story' also did. I agree with this statement except I feel that "White Horse" is the only song that grabbed me right away on Fearless. Basically, coming from a big Taylor critic, I love it.

I was not blown away by this CD at first. I still tend to skip certain songs for one reason or another. I finally caught on to Love Story and I'm now finally getting into White Horse.
I too would like to see Breathe released. I'd say this would be a good one to push to AC radio. Attaching Colbie's name to it would certainly help push it up the AC charts.

I was and still am blown away by Fearless. One of the best Country albums I've heard in a long while. Very well done.

the whole album is amazing IMO. personally, its my 2nd favorite album of 2008. falling only behind the stellar album that Lady Antebellum gave us all in April.
"Fearless" and "Hey Stephen" need to be released. and then i guess "Forever & Always".

If they release Fearless after White Horse they would have made the decisions perfectly. I don't really care what's 4th cause they're all pretty good.

When I first bought the album, my gut told me the standout tracks and should be singles were "The Way I Loved You" and "Fearless". After having the album for several months now, I still feel like "The Way I Loved You" is probably the best song, but I doubt it will be a single.
If you look at their single choices from her debut disc and then look at the first two singles from this album, I think you can make educated guesses as to what the final 3 (or possibly 4) singles will be.
I can't imagine a scenario in which "Forever & Always" stays unreleased, as it is the one song she admits is about Joe Jonas and also has the same "Picture To Burn" attitude that has made her so popular. It will be a single and probably will even be the next single. It will without a doubt soar to #1.
"You Belong With Me" I would assume is the catchy, teenage girl anthem similar to "Our Song" and I would be surprised if it didn't see a release at some point. If not YBWM, it will be "Hey Stephen", a song in which I personally think is much stronger than YBWM and would love to see it sent to radio in the summer.
"You're Not Sorry" is in the "Should've Said No" vein and will probably get a release to country as well as pop radio and have massive success at both.
IF they go with 6 singles, "Fearless" is the title track, so it will probably be the choice but not releasing "The Way I Loved You" is missing out on a HUGE country radio hit, in my opinion.
No matter what route they take, though, Big Machine and Taylor have little to worry about. The album is a smash.

I didn't like the CD at first because I thought it lacked the hooks that the debut was littered with, but it has really, REALLY grown on me. I love every song almost.
I don't care for "Forever & Always" because I just do not understand it at all. "It rains in your bedroom..." what? It is very catchy though, so I never skip it. I was surprised she sang this instead of "White Horse" on SNL last night. I'm guessing it's the next single.
I agree that "The Way I Loved You" is one of the best songs on the album. I love that one. I think "You Belong With Me" is the definite single though.
