I think its smart they are putting some testers out to get peoples reactions. They dont want the disaster that was RTW. Yeah this is the one good thing coming out of this. I haven't read any comments outside of Pulse but hopefully her teams is seeing a less than stellar reception to the clips and changes trajectory.

The song isn't terrible but it's also not what I was hoping for. She's done this concept before in songs like Upgrade U, Ego and Diva where she pulled it off well. This is just too much though. I still need to hear them melodies and harmonies Bee :'(. I hope these 2 snippets don't set the tone for the new album.

Why wouldn't fans be surprised there's no new music out? She had several high profile performances/gigs after a long break from the scene, PLUS she has a tour starting within a month, I think naturally most would expect her to release new material as well. Of course it's not compulsory that she release a new album after all she has done since February but that is usually the course of action that follows after a huge promotional blitz. She has definitely stumped me.

Ciara's "Promise" in "Spaceship Coupe". That was the FIRST thing I thought when I got to that song. Come enjoy the night, baby take a bite. Same with me!

[1. Turn Me On] 2. Starships 3. Pound the Alarm solo - David Guetta counts as an artist I know I know, I just like "Turn Me On" that much so I cheated :).

Hopefully this does better than "Y U Mad". If I recall correctly, that peaked around #18 on urban.

Not sure I believe there are that many collaborations either. But hey, I'm not necessarily opposed to it, so long as the music is good!

I'm not going to get my hopes up AGAIN this time. At this point, when new music comes, it comes.

I'm really feeling that beat. She better have a good reason to pass up on that... EDIT: The Danja beat I mean. No kidding, that beat goes so hard! I've been kinda disappointed since the Super Bowl (the fact that she didn't debut anything new) but I'm getting super excited again b/c the new music MUST be around the corner.

didn't she add a 2nd NY date? Bey and the promoters are really underestimating the amount of ppl who want to see her live. Honestly!! I tried buying tickets for the Toronto show for $63 (cheapest seats), couldn't get anything from the venues official ticketing site even after TEN MINUTES after tix went on sale. So I ended up having to pay $260 from a second-hand vendor :'( . She really should be doing 2 shows here.

Why do I feel like nothing will come tomorrow either? I just don't get why they're being so hush hush about everything, I hope her team learned from the mistakes last era and don't repeat them.

Ahhh I'm loving that background music now I'd like the whole song please (if it is in fact for the first single). She's such a tease.

Wait, did the Pepsi commercial even air during the Super Bowl? With the new single? Is there even a new single coming any time soon? :(

WOHOOOO my girl was PHENOMENAL I couldn't stop smiling as I was watching her own that stage, she was impressive as always. The highlight for me was the DC3 reunion, gave me "Destiny Fulfilled Tour" teas with them popping up from the ground. Single Ladies; DC3 version was great too, I lol'd at Michelle not keeping up with the steps though HAHA, still love her though. All in all a great show, congrats Beyonce!

I don't care that "Irreplaceable" is one of her biggest hits. I think it's boring for a halftime show. She has plenty of uptempos to keep people hyped up, and they lend themselves better to the type of performances people are used to from Beyoncé. I feel like "Irreplaceable" or "Halo" would be buzzkills. I definitely disagree. "Irreplaceable" is one of her most anthemic songs and it's definitely meant for a stadium audience. Just because it's a mid-tempo doesn't mean the audience wouldn't be engaged or thrilled to see it performed. At the Beyonce Experience, she closed with "Irreplaceable" and the entire crowd was apart of the performance, singing along, doing the hand movements, literally everyone was involved. I understand it's a different venue w/ a different audience but I still think it's universal enough that everyone would enjoy it.

just gets harder and harder to 'listen' to- that's if can make it through before changing the station after 30 seconds lol. Most people I know are amazed and baffled at how bad at is yet hit #1 on iTunes. Its not even really a 'song'= melody, flow, chorus, hook etc..Just goes in 20 noisy different directions lol. Like others said the only 'highlight' is when she says its "Britney B*tch' lol. You know thats a sign of laziness and desperation when thats the only noteworthy part of the song. I reallly like Will I Am but between this and that other hot mess of a 'song' with Jlo and Mick Jaggar hes been def. more miss than hit lately. Hes rapidly becoming the new Timbaland (tired, same sound) who eventually runs out of fresh, catchy ideas :/ Classic textbook case of it only being a 'hit' due the name brands attached. A song is not going to be a hit due to name brand. If it sucks, it will flop. It just means radio will be more willing to test it. I doubt it's #4 on iTunes due to Britney stans, when her last lead single was out of the top 10 by now. This is actually doing better than all of the FF singles and 3 on iTunes, right? I hated this at first but it's a major grower. Thank you. It's clear that the general public likes this song a lot given it's iTunes performance and steady increase in radio play. As usual, some Pulsers are just upset that they proclaimed a certain song a flop and it ends up doing quite well.

Finally got around to listening to this and I must say I love it! I'm surprised so many people dislike Britneys accent, it's definitely the highlight of the song for me, it just fits. The video is great too, Britney looks amazing.
Good luck to Will.i.am, this has the potential to become his first hit as a solo artist.
