So excited to see her tonight ahhh! This will be my 3rd time seeing her in concert (1st was a free mini concert in 2006 and 2nd was the Beyonce Experience in 2007).

Still would you rather sell 1-2million in a couple of weeks or in 4-6 months? Keep in mind there was zero promotion. Zero promo, just 17 music videos, the Superbowl earlier this year, a tour, and strategic leaks over the course of the year to hype up a hinted Q4 release. Basically nothing. LOL please, there were no hints of a Q4 release. Once the Superbowl passed and there was no single/news, sources pointed at a summer release. Then when the summer passed and nothing surfaced, it was supposed to be a fall release. Now that the end of the year came and nothing surfaced, even Billboard themselves "loosely" stated that Columbia was preparing a possible release for Beyonce for Spring of 2014. There was zero promotion leading up to this albums release, ie. when she performed at the Superbowl she didn't say "Hey I have an album coming out in December, keep an eye out for it!". Obviously once the album was released, word of mouth (considered a promotional tool) spread and that is what is driving the huge numbers.

400k in less than 2 days? WOW Beyonce is hurtin' em right now! And here I was thinking she would struggle to sell 200k like they predicted at first.

This is going to absolutely explode from here on out. I want "Dark Horse" to somehow defy the freeze and set a new precedent for this time of year!

Calling it obnoxious is a little unnecessary. I don't see a problem with discussing songs if there's a renewed interest in them for whatever reason. I think it is against board policy though (even though I'm not against it), it's probably more appropriate to post in the Billboard Hot 100 or iTunes thread since the song probably won't get any significant bump in radio play.

"Dark Horse" is back inside the top 50 on pop. Oh wow, "Dark Horse" just won't give up. It's just screaming at the label, "Release me! Release me!"

That performance was so good! The intro was everything, very creative. Her vocals were just right, so smooth and sultry.

So she isn't pregnant? This is like the MESSIEST era I have ever witnessed in all my years of living (being melodramatic of course). W/e at least I have some version of GW to jam to now

I am trying so hard not to go insane over this silence! If she were to just release "Grown Woman" in full I swear I would be content for a long, long time. Please Bey :'(

Ahh so glad to finally hear more of "Grown Woman"! I'm still loving it but I really want to hear the studio version cuz' it seems like they added a lot of different elements to the performance version. Every time I hear I just want to dance!
"Standing on the Sun" is good too but a tad generic. That might be what she needs at this point though, just to get back on (pop) radio's good side.

This song is a JAM! The production is on point, makes me want to dance. Don't think it'll be a hit on pop, though.

^^That doesn't really make sense since they shot the video after the Pepsi commercial was filmed and released. If she wanted to scrap it why shoot a video? Not saying shooting a video means it HAS to be a single since the video could just be used as tour promo or w.e but that seems useless since the track is already receiving promo from the Pepsi spot.
At this point I don't care if it's the single or not I just want the damn full version!

I could definitely see "Grown Woman" becoming a radio hit. It has a lot going for it, it sounds insanely catchy from the little pieces we've heard of it. The only thing going against might be the lack of a hard-hitting chorus and universal appeal (guys not being able to relate to it at all, but then again did that stop "Single Ladies"? [ok yes the video was a huge help and all but still]).

The only source that said it would be released Monday was Billboard (before they retracted that statement), right? I don't think we're getting it today, but I'd be happy to be wrong. ^^Well, Billboard was most likely the only "official" source but pretty much every blog was citing today as the release date as well (pulling it out of their a** most likely :) ). Maybe they still plan to make it a single but want it to come as a "surprise"?

Am I the only one who keeps replaying the commercial? Damn, the song and Bey are hot.... and I havent looked at the mirror the same way again Yes! I swear I've played it at least 100 times . I'm hypnotized by the part where she sings "Ahh! And I'm moving, downnn like that, ra-round like that". Waving a finger in the air has never been so sexy :'(

You'd think they would contact her reps BEFORE releasing information like that. What kinda backwards logic...

The song is not the first single, not coming out on Monday. MESS.COM Absolute wackness :'(. You can't believe anything these days it seems. My patience continues to be tried and tried BUT I'll survive, at least I have the commercial to hold me off for a bit.

AHHHHHHHH I absolutely love the commercial and the song sounds amazing too. I would even say it IS first single material. Love the attitude and swagger she has on the track I am so back on board after being disappointed by "Bow Down" and "I Been On".

Yeah I think this will definitely become a hit now, just not as big as S&S. I'll say a #8 peak CHR/pop and #7 peak Hot 100.

I'm definitely in the minority but I absolutely love "Talk that Talk" even if it is a tad generic. It just flows so well.
1. Talk that Talk 2. Rude Boy 3. S&M 4. We Ride 5. Stay 6. Hate That I Love You
