^^A song will not get to 10k spins unless it tests well with listeners. If the audience doesn't like it (or if it's not radio-friendly enough) it will most likely just scrap the top 20 and then die out (Never Again, Russian Roulette, Not Myself Tonight).

at another one of his singles peaking at #2. I honestly thought "Just a Dream" would block "DJ" from getting an official #2 peak but Usher still got it! I'm still shocked he only has one pop #1.

This isn't moving as fast as I thought it would out of the gate.

Except 'Boom Boom Pow' was incredibly catchy, didn't use a random sample that made no sense with the song.. and was actually AMAZING. This song goes nowhere, and just is trash. I hope their next singles are as good as The E.N.D.'s were. 'BBP' is a masterpiece compared to this. That's NOT what most here were saying upon its release. Most here were saying how "different" it was and didn't think it would be a hit because it was "without a hook". Eventually opinion toward the track shifted to where it was understood the beat was what drove it, and when listening to it that way, rather than through the lens of a verse-chorus-verse-chorus-possible bridge-chorus-outro lens, it automatically becomes catchy because your viewpoint surrounding what's "catchy" changes. I will say this is different from "Boom Boom Pow" for the following reason.........it samples another work. Still, the beat is the predominant force to "The Time", and I won't be even the slightest surprised if attitudes abruptly shift regarding this song and how catchy it is. Namaste, Lisping Hibiscus Co-sign! People will be singing a different tune soon enough.

Just at the album cover. So obviously a publicity stunt though by none other than Mr. Tabloid himself.

I'm surprised so many of you aren't feeling Drake's verse. Facebook "land" seems to be feeling it. I've seen many people quoting the "we'll have nothing on but the radio" line especially. Oh, and I like it too

The cover is fuck*ng brilliant, it honestly is perfect. And yeah, her legs are clearly photoshoped and her arms are absent to go along with her barbie image.
I too think this album is gunna be huge.

What a fail era. I wonder if he'll be able to come back strong next time. Let's just hope he learns his lesson this time.

What did pop radio see in it "Just Lose It" to want to play it so eagerly? ??? Easily one of Emiem's worst singles.

Ugh, I'm so upset! New single in 3 weeks my a*s. I knew not to get too excited though. I can't believe they've taken this damn long to release this DVD. She filmed it before summer last year right? Beysus you lettin' me down!
*Still hoping album news pops up soon*

"Papers" and the other "miscellaneous singles" all went top 5 at his core format (urban) so his label definitely did not screw things up at the beginning of the era. He's an R&B artist first and foremost.

Wow go Ursher! I didn't think this would crack 11k spins. I don't think this will peak at #1 but hopefully Katy falls fast enough for it to peak at #2.

This song sounds nothing like LLoyd at all. And I think it's a little vain for someone to say they're underrated.

This is such a f*cking hit, I love it.
If he can gain another 150 spins or so it will be his highest peaking song on urban (currently Kiss, Kiss w/ 4551 spins). He put the remix out at the BEST time possible. Just when it was about to fall, it started gaining again.

This is really catchy, should do well on pop. Oh and I love the homage she pays to Heath Ledger with the "why so serious" line!

Just passed Usher's "Hot Tottie" on pop. Is Trey the new King of RnB? :O :O. (as if ...)

This song is JUST climibng on US radio? I'm pretty sure everyone and their momma already know this song exists, it's so damn old. Hopefully it won't negatively affect it's performance on the charts.

I hope the announcement is bout the single and not the DVD. I'll f*cking burst if it's about the tour DVD, which should have been released months ago in the first place. As Jay-Z would say, "on to the next one" please!

I'm patiently awaiting this but I really don't want to get my hopes up too much. There's been no actual confirmation from her or the label but I suppose they want it to be "out of the blue" when the single drops. Still, Beysus hurry!!

This is doing better than "I Can Transform Ya", right? Where did that peak on pop?

Yeah I really didn't want to like that line either b/c suicide is no joke but I can't help it, I find myself saying it randomly ALL the time too.

OMG is 10x better than this imo. Since "DJ" leaked I just never got the hype for it. I'm thinking #4 will be it's peak, possibly #3.
