Brian McKnight - On Bended Knee
Chris Cornell - I don't even know who he is, so no choice
Jewel - I agree, Take a Bow
John Mayer - I agree, Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman
Michael Stipe - Only Wanna Be With You
Natalie Imbruglia - No More I Love Yous
Robbie Williams - I'm The Only One (why not???)
Shania Twain - Don't Take It Personal
I tried to pick some that are out of the artists genre but that it could be cool for them to do a take one.

I counted 14 votes for Monica and 14 for Mya, but Mya made it and Monica didn't... how did you determine this?

Britney's at her best when she sounds all breathy and sex-ified like Marilyn Monroe-- and even then I think it's with the help of editing. Janet can give a sweet performance w/o help. I mean clearly neither are first class vocalists, but Janet wins.

there's not front-runner NOT b/c they aren't as good this year, but b/c there are better people. Clay and Ruben were frontrunners b/c only one other contestant was legitimately that talented.
Fantasia is VERY talented, I don't care what some of you all say, she really really is. Latoya is VERY talented. Jennifer's got an amazing set of pipes.
Let's say Clay and Ruben are around the level of Latoya and Jennifer. Jennifer around the level of Kimberley.
Diana, Jasmine, and George are better than Trenyce, Josh, and Carmen.
SOoo this year's better.

well the problem with TLC is you have to vote for an INDIVIDUAL... so go ahead, pick which one of them to vote for... see, it's too hard.

Ppl vote for Monica on wild card! She's more popular than half of these people, and that's being completely objective about it.

While Carmen's "scratch, scratch, scratch" was the best sound ever made on an American Idol show, Diana's overall performance was just better. She really worked it, while Carmen looked stiff. Maybe Carmen had a bad breakout that morning. I read on Losethezits.com that she would sometimes have 4 huge pimples pop up on her face the morning before a show! Poor girl. I can relate, sista! yeah and i saw them. its all about stress.

It's Jennifer hands down-- the winning category is acting. She's the only one with a truly viable film career.

anita baker's "angel" is also very nice.
i just think monica's will still be getting play for... well forever. when they play "90s" music like we do "80s"...

I thought I did put it in polling booth, oops..
yeah Faith has a lot of surprisingly memorable collabos... it's hard to pick, I chose "Georgy Porgy" as my favorite even if it may not be the best, per se.

i think "through the rain" wasn't bad but it sounded like filler from any of her last albums.
it's hard to pick btwn toni's and whitney's.... but toni's sounds even better today, i hear it on the radio from time to time. so toni.

and why are u people comparing brandy 2 MOnica? ROTFF U CAN'T its like Brandy is Whiteny 2 MOnica being Sunshine anderson.... LMAO tell Monica 2 make a movie that isnt produced and floped By MTV then tell her 2 get her own show and stay #1 for 5 seasons LMAOOO Or betta yet have a reality Series oN MTV about how she killed her boyfriend lol and see how that goes LMAo hey newbie, bad way to start off at the board in my opinion.. you don't make much sense and you're way off. Brandy like Whitney? Monica like Sunshine Anderson? k. ridiculous.

Monica has not had "IT" sicne she was 14, and her record sales reflect that "IT" is SO GONE. yeah, since she's only had 3 Hot 100 #1s and 3 R&Bs #1s between 1998 and 2003....

brandy does definitely have a lot of control and skill--- and its trying to make up for a lack of otherwise raw talent or strong voice!! and shes NOT good live, shes very weak. she just is.
monica's runs are easy to copy? whaaaat. you're crazy. it's easier to copy something that comes from technical patterns than from talent! monica has a really unique quality to her voice and a style. listen to the end of "so gone" and you'll realize she does things with her voice that can't be duplicated. if you really wanna find out, check "angel" from her first album.
i dont know where you'd ever think brandy has more range. have you heard "for you i will" or "inside" or even "down 4 u" from last year's bonus cd? ok.
monica's gotta win. i like brandy and she works really hard and clearly knows what shes doing. but monica just HAS it. you can tell when you see her on TV or something-- she just has IT.
