I really hope that Taylor can pull this off. Em's had enough weeks at number one.

Loud possibly re-peaking at #3 !! :o On the downside, HDD is notorious for predicting Rihanna's numbers incorrectly!

Is it possible that Loud can finally hit #1 in January or February with low sales? Her biggest competitors are Taylor Swift and Eminem. Most likely, not. Unless it sees longevity like Swifty or Em, it's gonna have a tough time fighting off the newer crop of albums that will be charting and Swift will, most likely, still be charting higher than Rihanna.

Hey, It won't bother me at all if Taylor is #1 on the chart. It would be nice to say even after all these months Recovery hit #1. But heck for it to maybe even get back in the Top 5 is something.
If i had to bet Swift will get #1. Eminem will get #2. Still this far in that would be great. Recovery Spent 7 Weeks at #1 and so far Speak Now has spent 4 weeks at #1. So if Taylor get's another week at #1 it won't bother me.
Swift isnt one of my favorite artists but she is better than some of the crap that could be #1. It's just some of her fans here that make me smh.
The reason i saw this thread so late is because im sick. I was in bed for 17 hours. So maybe thats why im not as excited about this right now. haha.

Feel better, slicknick. :)
Recovery's commercial showing has been very impressive.
I wonder if any of the higher-charting holiday titles will drop right off the chart next week. I suppose SuBo's album could get at least a few more weeks on the BB 200 this season. Back in 1994, after the 1/7/95 chart, the top two holiday albums- from Kenny G and Mimi Carey- logged six and five additional weeks on the BB 200, respectively.

I'm surprised Eminem sent out a re-release with his current "single" already losing large momentum on Pop. I'd give the #1 to Taylor.

Glad that Katy is doing so well. I never would have guessed that her album would still be in the Top 10 this long after its release.

P.S I told you all that after the holidays we're gonna see if Taylor is THAT consistent or now...Just Sayin... Yeah, I'd bet on her, with Fearless, she was in the top 10 a year later, selling better than new releases.

Glad that Katy is doing so well. I never would have guessed that her album would still be in the Top 10 this long after its release. To be completely honest I'd say she's way under-performing. All 3 of her singles from this album have been pretty huge so far and the fact that she hasn't passed 1 million yet is insane to me.

Not really. Both are underperforming. You can't really use that comparison to justify her sales. Neither are performing how they should.

Why is Rihanna, Kayne top 5? Did they also lower prices? I was at Best Buy earlier and both of their albums were on sale for $7.99 (Pink Friday was on sale too). Only one store but I'm sure it helped.
