Loud possibly re-peaking at #3 !! :o On the downside, HDD is notorious for predicting Rihanna's numbers incorrectly! I hope she can sneak a week @ #1 but Taylor is a freakin monster

Is there not going to be a weekend update then because of New Years?

I just think #1 this week will probably be in the 50-70K area. I'm hoping for around 90K. I hope im underestimating. But just comparing these weeks to previous years idk. But 90K wouldn't be too much more. So maybe...

Can't wait to see what Brit and Gaga's numbers are. I'm a bit disappointed that Gaga's album will be out later wanted to see them go head to head. Can you imagine the fanwars? Pure entertainment buwhahaha

K$ was the first new album to reach #1, but Susan was #1 before her.

I saw Best Buy had like 10 albums for $7.99 again this upcoming week.
I saw Eminem and I'm pretty sure Taylor Swift.

I'd like to see Eminem at #1 at some point in 2011.
Maybe for the Grammys if he wins AOTY and/or has another new single out by then.
btw, what is the first A-list album release of 2011?

Some of these might be a bit stretching, but these are the first big releases of 2011 it seems.

b.o.b. Nothin on you and airplanes were huge, and isanley popular, and magic was a hit too. he stands a little below 500k. katy will pass 1 million in a week or two with three huge hits. shes selling just fine. Not really. Both are underperforming. You can't really use that comparison to justify her sales. Neither are performing how they should. Agreed, look at Bruno Mars. Bruno Mars is going to end up selling more albums that B.o.B. He's a new artist and is almost gold at the peak of his 2nd single. Plus, B.o.B and Katy Perry are on different levels of stardom. B.o.B is still new, just getting his name out there, which is one explanation why his album underperformed a bit. Katy Perry is one of the biggest stars around today. With three huge singles, it is a bit surprising she's only around a million. If she can continue to sell steadily well into the new year, that'll make up for it.

HITS said Taylor should be #1 with 75-80k. That is way down from last year.

That's depressing (for the music industry, not Taylor, although it is quite a steep % drop for a non-Christmas album), hopefully there will be an all 40k+ top ten or something

Also that means Su-Bo will come shy of that 2 million mark for 2010, and Taylor for the 3 million mark. Although Taylor will have a much easier time selling the next few months obviously

^I'm guessing that Itunes is not in this mix, which would push Em higher (but will it be enough to catch Taylor???)

nicki could potentially be #2 this week.
Looks like the sales will be very close this week, so we might have to wait for soundscan to clarify positions.

I know two versions of it charted, but i`d be real surprised if it were enough. I`d be glad actually...that would mean Itunes sales are pretty high.

I just realized Susan Boyle isn't in the Top 50 and Jackie Evancho is at #47 :o Weird, I'm sure Su-Bo will finish at least top 50 with the final update, I know Amazon doesn't have a huge percentage share of the market but she was #1 on there pretty much the entire tracking week and it's not like she sold NOTHING outside of Amazon, I'm sure it sold decently with in-store physical copies, especially before new years.

SuBo was #1 this time last year. Hits probably messed up something, like they did with kanye weeks ago.
