Really hope GaGa can break 1M! It'd be the first time a pop star did in a longgggggg time. Taylor just did it back in November. She's more country, but she's still pretty pop. So... Lol

I can not at the Taylor Swift pressed stans, and saying that Speak Now which was the same garbage she has been putting out for the past three albums is better than BTW is just.....
See one of those albums getting nominated for AOTY and the other not.

So The Story Of This is...Lady Gaga is cheating her way to get 1 Million sales. At least Taylor Swift sold Million albums legit. :) Put a asterisk* next to Lady Gaga's record. Do you not read??? i guess you are missing the irony here...read the speak now debut week thread.

If by legit you mean $3.99 was still too much to pay for that cd, you are correct. Florida State is failing in College Football. The Gators are dominating them. Speak Now is by far the better record between the two hands down. Considering the fact that literally 100% of your posts are a literary boner over Taylor, I don't think your opinion has a lot of value in this particular discussion.

LOL, Imagine if Lady Gaga actually had another hit like bad romance leading up to the release... It would've come close to N*SYNCS record

You think Taylor never took the heat for her 3.99 deal? LMAO. Chill.

Neither Taylor or GaGa should be getting any flack for this. "It's not my fault I'm popular" #MeanGirls

Buying 60 digital downloads on Amazon counts for 1 download, not 60. I never understood this. Even with Itunes. If you buy multiple copies from the same account regardless of how necessary it is it should count. If I buy 5 copies of BTW why would only 1 count. If I bought 50 copies, why would only one count???

^you should scroll down to the bottom of the last page. It does count sometimes. Danny posted an article from Billboard explaining the matter.

I'm kind of curious. I think if someone buys 3 copies it should count because it's likely they bought them as gifts or bought different editions. However, even something like 20 copies is fishy to me.

I have absolutely zero interest in purchasing this album. Now if they offered it to me for free (aka 99 cents), I would get it...who wouldn't? It's cheaper than a bag of chips. But that doesn't change the fact that the album majorly blows. Born This Way was god-awful and a huge letdown, Judas makes me cringe and whatever single she released next (don't remember the name) sounded no different. This album will NEVER get nominated for a Grammy, guaranteed.

So you're saying the album blows but you're only basing that from the singles you heard?

Marry the Night is a smash waiting to happen. That and Edge of Glory will keep this album afloat for a while along with continued promo blitz. Then of course will come the inevitable re-release.

have you ever watched the extreme couponing show ? It's human nature, when you feel like you are getting a great deal you end up buying things that you don't even really want/need.

OK...but not many people are going to register for an Amazon account (assuming they don't have one) and type their credit card/address/email information just to guy an album they DID NOT INTEND TO BUY for $0.99? You cannot compare that to clipping coupons because the former takes a lot more effort.

Amazon saves your credit card information if you've purchased before & it's literally a matter of a few clicks to purchase an item. Absolutely no information needs to be added. I did not intend on buying the album but I purchased it because of the .99 sale.

Watch the clip posted above by "Fame Hooker" (*DEAD*). Paper Towels I can understand but people buy s**t they absolutely don't need. It's the feeling of getting a good deal and impulse buying. What amazon is doing with this album is no different.

Not no intention to listen to, but there are a lot of people that like 1-2 songs from an album, but instead of buying the songs separately for 2.40$, they just bought the album for 0.99 and deleted the 10 or so songs they didn't want. Or some people that like the album, but would have just illegally downloaded it ( ) probably also bought it.
