I would not advise literally releasing Artpop 2. However, I could see a re-release happening (with an incredibly radio friendly smash heading it?) or even a new album project next year possibly using some of the songs they had prepared for Artpop 2. If it's a carreer saving re-release like Halcyon Days, then sure. It would need a new sound, work with actual pop music producers/musicians and away with DJWS, Zedd and Madeon and away from that tacky noisy EDM for that to happen tho. And the songs would need lyrics and vocals that aren't instantly off putting. She still writes great hooks and melodies, they aren't the problem. If she gets a real smash hit, all the foolishness and mishaps surrounding this era will be swiftly forgotten Too bad she already hinted at "Onion Girl" (produced by Zedd) actually happening

She's not toast after two Top 10 hits on CHR, but the wheels are definitely off the machine on the business end of things. And as much as I love ARTPOP, I definitely would not complain if she backed away from the "ugly" thing (Swine, Onion Girl), and served us some f*cking glitter and a party. Party Monsters, not dark, human condition Monsters. That's who people fell in love with. She was wild, fun, bright, and loved every second of it. I just don't get that vibe from her anymore.

I think she could benefit from a Fame Monster style EP later this year (because I really don't think she's turning this project around and doing any better with later singles) but not if she serves up some songs that sound like rejects from the previous album (Justin Timberlake, I'm looking at you..).

I wonder if she could pull a Robyn and release a series of EPs.

I'm not expecting a similiar era like "THE FAME MONSTER", but it'll be nice for her to regain some momentum again & shift some units. The second part, I am not a fan of. I feel releasing multiple albums/EPs within the same year or extremely close to each other kills off the momentum for sales, chart success & suffocates the artist's initial era.

It sounds so much like "Never Let Me Down Again" and "Strangelove" by Depeche Mode, which are my favorite songs by THEM.

Apparently one of her fans was on the verge of committing suicide and they posted about it and she responded:

I've been under the influence of substances with opposite reactions and it still slayed my soul and made my body move… This album is holding up quite swell for me.

I listened to the album when I was stoned twice. Mary Jane Hollard was AMAZING. Definitely a stoners' anthem. As for the rest of the album, they also sounded much better when I was under the influence as well.

Apparently one of her fans was on the verge of committing suicide and they posted about it and she responded: I know she can be overdramatic and crazy sometimes, but that was really cool of her to respond to that guy (if the response WAS indeed actually her). I truly think her compassion and need to please her fans is what drives her so crazy sometimes lol.

Apparently one of her fans was on the verge of committing suicide and they posted about it and she responded: This sounds really harsh, and I'm sure most of you will disagree, but I think that guy's an attention-seeking idiot. He probably just posted that in hopes that Gaga would see it and reply, which she did. If he truly has/had suicidal ideations, he should be seeking out professional help and not spending his time complaining about his life on a Lady Gaga fan site. I do think it was nice of Gaga to respond, though.

I do think it was nice of Gaga to respond, though. This is quite harsh and ignorant. I have had my share of addiction problems and suicidal thoughts, and while the two are different animals, a lot of people aren't able to rationalize and seek the help they need out of fright, lost in their struggle. I'm sure if it was so easy for all the people who commit suicide every year to seek professional help, these tragedies would be averted. Gaga made me proud with her response, and I'm glad she didn't refer to him as an attention seeking idiot. Life is too precious to be judging the unfortunate hardships and pain of others.

I was extremely depressed through parts of my life and it is really, really easy to say "get professional help!" but one of the unfortunate side effects of depression is not always being able to do that. You are scared or don't think it will help or think your depression is somehow deeper than other people's depression. Depression twists your thoughts and makes you think things that are untrue. I often sought help on message boards too (or other embarrassing behavior in real life that I won't expand upon at this moment) and it is actually an online friend (and now a real life friend) who eventually convinced me to get help. It may be attention-seeking, but sometimes depressed people are attention-seeking because they are desperate for any type of attention, desperate for someone to listen to them, desperate for someone to help them.
Maybe the person is completely making it up just to get a Gaga reply, but without being inside that person's head I won't assume that.

One thing I will not dog her for is replying to those who need help. Logistically, even if the kid is doing it for attention, he needs some kind of help don't you think? Speaking as someone who is clinically diagnosed, it took me a long time to really come to grips with it. It wasn't until I was an adult, because as a teenager you don't really have a concept of what's going on.. or even that anything is wrong, because you're just so used to feeling like that. You don't know the kid. It's not your place to assume anything. On a lighter note, A snippet of some shit called 'Credit Card' is out and what the actual fuck...?
