Or he waited for it to debut on pop Nope. We were talking about urban songs. I recommended "Swimming Pools". Day later, he's heard it

Or he waited for it to debut on pop If that was the case I'd still be waiting. Only reason I heard it is because I updated my severely out-of-date R&B Top 10's playlist. Nothing to do with either of your opinions, really.

"I Knew You Were Trouble." climbs back to the Top 10! Sad that "Same Love" falls and "Sitting On Top Of The World" is out, not making the 5x platinum. However, I think it has surprassed "Call Me Maybe" in points, hasn't it?

FEBRUARY 17, 2013 COMMENTARY.New #1 again this week, and it's a full debut! The song is "Just Give Me A Reason", from P!nk featuring Nate Ruess. It's her sixth chart entry and sixth top five hit, following "Ave Mary A" (#5, 2010-01-10), the platinum hit "Raise Your Glass" (#3, 2011-01-23), the double platinum hits "Perfect" (#1, 2011-04-10) and "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" (#1, 2012-07-29), and the now triple platinum hit "Try" (#2, 2012-10-28). Flawless streak right there! Nate Ruess' band fun. reached the top ten twice last year with their hits "We Are Young" and "Some Nights", both of which are certified triple platinum, but for some reason "Just Give Me A Reason" isn't credited as a duet and thus doesn't count to his total. "Just Give Me A Reason" is the 67th #1 hit on Slizzard's Top 50. As mentioned before, "Try" and "Some Nights" are now triple platinum. "Try" also passes "Some Nights" in total points this week, making "Try" the highest certified song currently on the chart. Two songs are also now double platinum: Little Big Town's "Tornado" and Nicki Minaj's "Va Va Voom". Both of those songs peaked at #2. Back to the chart, in addition to "Just Give Me A Reason" we have another two songs cracking the top 10 this week. The first of those is "Beneath Your Beautiful" from Labrinth, featuring Emeli Sandé. It's up from #11 to #5 after spending many weeks just outside the top ten, becoming the first top ten hit for Labrinth. Emeli's own track "Next To Me" moves #5 to #3 this week, also. The last new top ten hit this week is from Hunter Hayes with "Wanted", climbing to #8 from #12 last week. It's his first top ten hit too. The second highest debut of the week (behind "Just Give Me A Reason" of course) is from Rihanna with "Stay" at #26. Her current urban single "Pour It Up" is also up to #35 this week. The third debut is "Feel This Moment" by Pitbull featuring Christina Aguilera at #48, the fourth is "Bandz A Make Her Dance" by Juicy J and friends at #49, and the final debut is Cher Lloyd's "With Ur Love" at #50. Even though the track was released in the UK in late 2011 it is her current US single, though I am charting the UK mix with Mike Posner instead of the US mix with Juicy J. It's Cher Lloyd's third chart hit, following her double platinum hit "Want U Back" (#2, 2012-07-22), and the moderate hit "Oath" (#15, 2013-01-13). Cheryl's "Call My Name" falls off the chart this week. It debuted at #1 on 2012-07-15, the first chart since I began posting here, and managed a double platinum certification and 31 weeks on the chart, at a time when many hits are even struggling to hit 20. The track also ranked at #32 on the 2012 year-end chart, but I think it deserved higher. Such a perfect song! THE CHART.00 – 01 – 01 – 01 + "Just Give Me A Reason" – P!nk feat. FEBRUARY 24, 2013 COMMENTARY.The top ten remains quite steady this week, apart from the one new entry: "Lanterns" from Birds of Tokyo, which is up six spots to #6. It's their first top ten hit. The highest debut this week is at #15, and it's One Direction's new Comic Relief track, "One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)". It's their sixth chart entry, following on from their multi-platinum hits "What Makes You Beautiful", "One Thing" and "Live While We're Young", the #40 flop "Little Things", and the #25 hit "Kiss You" which is at #31 this week. 1D's track is the first of four new entries. The other three are "White Noise" from Disclosure featuring AlunaGeorge at #30, "Figure 8" from Ellie Goulding at #49, and Gabrielle Aplin's UK #1 "The Power Of Love" at #50. "Figure 8" is the third chart hit for Ellie, following the platinum #8 hit "Lights", and her #1 hit "Anything Could Happen" which falls off the chart this week just shy of a double platinum cert. The other two tracks are the first chart entries for those artists. Four songs pick up new certifications this week. Going triple platinum is Ke$ha's "Die Young", which is at #36 this week in its 22nd week on the chart. It's her first song to go triple platinum. The other three tracks are all currently in the top ten, and are all picking up platinum imaginary plaques. Those songs are "Beneath Your Beautiful" from Labrinth featuring Emeli Sandé, which reaches a new peak of #4 this week, "Wanted" from Hunter Hayes, up to #7, and "Set Me On Fire" from Bella Ferraro, down to #8 after originally peaking at #4. "Set Me On Fire" is the second song from The X Factor Australia to go platinum, the first being Samantha Jade's "What You've Done To Me", which also peaked at #4. Recap mode-on :) February 17: "Just Give Me a Reason" debuts atop! Great to see the debut of "Stay" and "Feel This Moment" as well and the jump of "Drinking From the Bottle" inside the Top 40. "Call My Name" left your chart :( February 24: "Just Give Me a Reason" is still atop! :) Found out that "Remember When (Push Rewind)" is so close to enter inside the Top 10. Nice debut of "Figure 8" and "One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)". I'm not a fan of 1D, but I like their cover. Great to see the additional info. about the dropouts. So, "Sweet Nothing" is gone, but it had so much points that "We'll Be Coming Back" and "Let's Go". However, as "Sweet Nothing" was at #92 on your 2012 year-end countdown, I hope that it could appear as well on this year Also, "Anything Could Happen" is gone Although, I think it doesn't have any chances to be your 2013 year-end countdown.

Thanks for the recap comment! :) Out of the 16,640 points "Sweet Nothing" accumulated, 9,075 were from 2012 and 7,565 have been from 2013. For "Anything Could Happen", the numbers are 13,569 and 5,575. "Sweet Nothing" may just scrape in, as the cutoff for the 2012 top 100 was 7,128 points, but don't count on it.

I did the numbers before I post it. I hope "Sweet Nothing" could be again at the bottom of your year-end countdown though.
