Songs that dropped this week but (for sure) aren't done: Air Balloon, Drunk In Love, Feelin' Myself, Talk Dirty, Counting Stars, Team, XO, Sail, Young Girls, Hey Brother (huge drop though ), Neon Lights. Plus a few others that are close to being done. It's just so competitive things keep being pushed down prematurely. :'(

And yeah... Ouch at "Hey Brother"... I've been trying to look into his newest international single and see if that should echo inside my head for who knows how long.

So I decided to add extra points since my chart has been so competitive the past few weeks. The week of 1/19 I multiplied points by 1.1, 1/26 by 1.2, 2/2 by 1.25, and 2/9 by 1.3. The changes to certifications are as follows:

1/19: none
1/26: none
2/2: Drunk In Love/Move - Platinum, Do What U Want - 5x Platinum (all 1 week early)
2/9: Goodness Gracious/Wild Heart - Gold, Air Balloon/Neon Lights/XO - Platinum, Talk Dirty/Unconditionally - 2x Platinum, Atlas - 6x Platinum

I updated the 2/2 and 2/9 charts to reflect these changes. I might alter the commentary about certifications as well. I probably will because OCD. ;_; But some info for high certifications: "Atlas" is now #5 in total points (and 5th to reach 6x Platinum), and "Do What U Want" is now #10 in total points. It had only reached #11 without the extra points.

Also to clarify on the points: With my points system I do triangular, plus an extra 150 points for every song. I only used the multiplier for the triangular points. The bottom of my chart really isn't competitive, it's just the top. This gives #50 only .1 extra points in the 1/19 chart, whereas #1 would get 127.5 extra points. To put that in perspective, 4275 points are needed to reach Platinum status, so that's ~3% of the way there added on. And then for 2/9, that means ~9% was added to #1. Hopefully this all makes sense and people actually care.

This week again has a 1.3x multiplier due to extreme competitiveness.

"Wild Heart" holds at #1 this week. In fact, the top 3 remains the same. Could change next week, with "Knee Deep In My Heart" flying up 11 spots to #4. This is Shane's 1st top 5. Only 1 new song enters the top 10: "Wasting All These Tears" up 5 to #9. This is Cassadee's 1st top 10. Only 1 new song enters the top 20 as well: "Girls" up 5 to #17. This is Jennifer's 3rd top 20 (1 lead, 2 feature). 4 new songs enter the top 30: "Into the Blue" up 10 to #22, "I Want It All" up 10 to #23, "Latch" up 12, the greatest gainer, to #28, and "Where Did We Go Wrong" up 7 to #30. This is Kylie's 2nd, Karmin's 5th, Disclosure's 1st, Sam Smith's 1st, and Toni and Babyface's 1st top 30.

4 new songs also enter the top 40: "La La La" up 8 to #35, "Battlefield" up 9 to #36, "Louder" up 9 to #38, and "Fall In Love" debuting at #40, the highest debut. This is Naughty Boy's 1st, Sam Smith's 2nd, Lea's 2nd and 3rd, and Phantogram's 1st top 40. This is also Phantogram's 1st song to chart. 3 other songs debut, making 4 total: "Run for Cover" at #41, "Ready for Your Love" at #44, and "You're Mine (Eternal)" at #48. This is Cazzeette's 2nd, Gorgon City's 1st, MNEK's 1st, and Mariah's 3rd song to chart. Falling off are "The Art of Letting Go," "Overdose," "Dirty Paws," and "Best Day of My Life."

As mentioned above, the highest debut is "Phantogram" at #40. Also mentioned above, the greatest gainer is "Latch," rising 12 spots to #28. The biggest fall goes to "Can't Remember to Forget You," dropping 15 spots to #49. Finally, in its 37th week, "Slow Down" drops 6 spots to #45.

EXTREMELY boring week for certifications. Only 4 songs are certified and the biggest is Platinum. ;_; Gold: "Knee Deep In My Heart," "Show Me," and "Wasting All These Tears;" Platinum: "Feelin' Myself." In more exciting news, "Do What U Want" passes "All the Way Home," "Call Me Maybe," and "Figure 8" to rise to #7 in overall points. "Atlas" remains at #5, but should pass "Little Talks" next week to rise to #4. "Do What U Want" should also pass "Love and War" to rise to #6.

This week gets a 1.4x multiplier. "Wild Heart" holds at #1 for a 3rd week, while "Fall In Love" flies up 38 spots to #2, this week's greatest gainer. "Run for Cover" also sees a big gain, jumping 35 spots to #6. Beyonce also scores the highest debut, with "Partition" debuting in the top 10 at #9. This is Phantogram's 1st top 3, Cazzette's 2nd top 10, and Beyonce's 3rd top 10. Only 1 song enters the top 20, and it is "Latch," which rises 11 to #17. This is both Disclosure's and Sam's 1st top 20. Only 1 song enters the top 30 as well, and it also has vocals by Sam Smith: "La La La," which rises 7 spots to #28. This is Naughty Boy's 1st and Sam's 2nd top 30.
