This song doesn't suck. "First Time" happens to be a huge hit for the band. Their third biggest overall. Not bad for having 2 of the biggest songs of the decade and this is also sizing up quite well on Hot AC.

It's also #9 on the year-to-date chart and it looks like that will probably be where it remains.

If this was released just a few months earlier, I think it could've been top 3 easily, if not #1. Despite never hitting #1, this has had a real lengthy run that even a lot of #1's don't get.

3. Train "Drops of Jupiter" - 244,226 spins
4. Maroon 5 "This Love" - 219,189 spins
5. Avril Lavigne "Complicated" - 218,054 spins
6. Matchbox Twenty "Unwell" - 212,898 spins
7. Nickelback "How You Remind Me" - 209, 603 spins
8. Lifehouse "You and Me" - 205,160 spins

I think within the next two years "You and Me" should be able to make it up to #4 pretty easily. I'm sure if this was released just a year or two earlier it would be the #1 song of the decade.
