too bad they are -152 on Pop... I know... still, top 20 isn't bad considering how unfriendly Pop radio is to mainstream pop sounding records today.

This song doesn't suck. "First Time" happens to be a huge hit for the band. Their third biggest overall. Not bad for having 2 of the biggest songs of the decade and this is also sizing up quite well on Hot AC.
1 1 FERGIE Big Girls Don't Cry 3357 3458 -101 15.699 3 2 PINK Who Knew 3243 3171 72 14.372 4 3 LIFEHOUSE First Time 3215 3135 80 16.516
#1?!! It will at least go top 2 now.

Dang, this song has been stuck at 10 or 11 for a while now and doesn't look like it'll budge for a while look:
10 10 LIFEHOUSE First Time 2007 Geffen 1787 1920 -133 9.533
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11 11 FERGIE Big Girls Don't Cry ... 2006 Will.I.Am/A&M/Interscope 1783 1902 -119 10.007 13 12 SARA BAREILLES Love Song 2007 Epic 1451 1409 42 5.745
That's a pretty big gap between the 10 and 12.

It's also #9 on the year-to-date chart and it looks like that will probably be where it remains.
9 LIFEHOUSE First Time 71884
If this was released just a few months earlier, I think it could've been top 3 easily, if not #1. Despite never hitting #1, this has had a real lengthy run that even a lot of #1's don't get.

Using Mediabase's Quick Cut Info...here are the top 10 songs on Hot AC for the decade so far:
1. Lifehouse "Hanging By A Moment" - 250,583 spins 2. The Calling "Wherever You Will Go" - 248,724 spins 3. Train "Drops of Jupiter" - 244,226 spins 4. Maroon 5 "This Love" - 219,189 spins 5. Avril Lavigne "Complicated" - 218,054 spins 6. Matchbox Twenty "Unwell" - 212,898 spins 7. Nickelback "How You Remind Me" - 209, 603 spins 8. Lifehouse "You and Me" - 205,160 spins 9. Hoobastank "The Reason" - 202,601 spins 10. 3 Doors Down "Here Without You" - 199,440 spins
I think within the next two years "You and Me" should be able to make it up to #4 pretty easily. I'm sure if this was released just a year or two earlier it would be the #1 song of the decade. Still #4 isn't bad considering that all of the spins are coming from the second half of the decade, compared to "Hanging By A Moment" which got an extra five years worth of spins.

Wonder what would happen if you included mainstream AC... (thinkin You And Me would shoot up even higher...)

I wouldn't be surprised if this regains a bullet and remains in the top 10 until the second week of the year since I'm sure this will be getting plenty of spins from year-end countdown shows.
