"Rather Be" continues its reign at number one as it tops the chart for an eighth week! It now ties Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble." for the third longest running number one. It is one week away from Taylor's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and two weeks from Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball." However, "Rather Be" falls nearly three full points this week as Lorde rockets up to number two with "Glory and Gore." The songs are just over 2 points away from each other now. As that happens, Sia's "Chandelier" also increases in points even though it falls to number three. Paramore zooms up the chart to number four with "Ain't It Fun" in only its third week. It jumps ten spots and earns the honor of Biggest Increase of the Week as it gains 4.6 points! It's a race for the next number one as "Glory and Gore," "Chandelier," and "Ain't It Fun" are all within one point of each other and all within three points from the crown spot. Rounding out the top five is KONGOS with "Come with Me Now" as it returns to the top five. KONGOS and Paramore knock out Beyoncé's "Partition" and Shakira's "Empire" from the top five.

Below the top five, "Partition" and "Empire" sit at six and seven respectively. Nico & Vinx re-enter the top ten at number eight with "Am I Wrong," one spot away from its original peak of seven. Katy Perry slips to number nine with "Birthday." Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea rest comfortable at number ten with "Problem" for a third week. Nico & Vinz and Paramore knock out HAIM's "Forever" and Lindsey Stirling's "Shatter Me" from the top ten. Both are likely to re-enter later on. Lots of songs are bouncing in and out of the top ten recently: "Am I Wrong," "Forever," "Birthday," and "Drunk in Love" have all had top ten re-entries recently and that has to do with the competitiveness of the chart in the upper regions at the moment.

Below the top ten, "Forever" and "Shatter Me" slipped to 11 and 14. Karmin shoots up to 12 with "Pulses," a new peak for the song. Below it is Tove Lo's "Stay High" at 13, up two spots from 15 last week. SoMo slips three spots to 15 with "Kings & Queens" and he also slips two spots to 18 with "Oh, Hell." Tech N9ne and gang gains a spot to 16 with "Fragile." The Band Perry once again slip back down to 20 with "Chainsaw." The poor song is stuck in a loop of in and out of the 20 position. The other two positions are new entries! Coming in at 17 is Kacey Musgraves with "Keep It to Yourself." This becomes Kacey's fourth straight top 20 hit! At 19 is Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd's "Really Don't Care," jumping up from 33 last week, finally earning the song a new peak after its original run when Demi was released had the album track peak at 32. It's certainly fairing well with me as a single. Demi and Kacey knock out Lily Allen's "Air Balloon" and MKTO's "Classic" from the top 20. They fall to 21 and 29 respectively.

Below the top 20, Shakira and Blake Shelton move up to 22 with "Medicine," a new peak. Other songs earning new peaks are Lily Allen's "Sheezus" at 26, Christina Perri's "Human" at 28, X Ambassadors' "Jungle" at 32, and Thirty Seconds to Mars' "Up in the Air" at 34. It's also worth noting that Lorde's "Tennis Court" moves up to 24. "Wiggle" also moves up a spot to 23 after falling from its peak of 22 last week. The chart also sees two debuts. Debuting at 35 is Michael Jackson's "Love Never Felt So Good." This is the first post-humous song to ever hit the chart and it's also the King of Pop's first chart entry. Debuting at 39 is Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora's "Black Widow," the soon-to-be third single from Iggy's debut album. This is Iggy's second chart entry after her featured credit with Ariana Grande's "Problem," which sits at 10 currently. This is Rita Ora's first chart entry. The two new entries kick out Lee DeWyze's "Blackbird Song" and Rascal Flatts' "Rewind."

"Rather Be" shocks even me as it spends its NINTH week at number one! Yep, that's right, "Rather Be" has ruled the roost for nine weeks so far, meaning it now ties with Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" for second longest running number one ever. It is only week away from tieing Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" and two weeks away from owning the record by itself. However, the competition is getting fierce. Paramore's "Ain't It Fun" jumps from four to two in only its fifth week on the chart. Sia's "Chandelier" also continues to gain in points as it spends a second week at number three. It's definitely a tight battle between those two for the next number one unless "Rather Be" blocks them both. Last week's number two, Lorde's "Glory and Gore," slips to number four. Rounding out the top five is Katy Perry's "Birthday," the fourth single from PRISM and the fourth top five hit in a row from said album! (It marks her sixth top five hit in a row since "Part of Me.") "Birthday"'s entry into the top five knocks out KONGOS' "Come with Me Now" from the top five.

Below the top five, Beyoncé remains at number six with "Partition." At number seven, Lindsey Stirling and Lzzy Hale reclaim their spot in the top ten with "Shatter Me" while simultaneously earning a new peak! KONGOS slip to eight with "Come with Me Now." Entering the top ten for the first time at number nine is Tove Lo and Hippie Sabotage's "Stay High (Habits Remix)." This marks both artists' first top ten entry. Rounding out the top ten for a fourth week in a row is Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea's "Problem." Poor song can't seem to get out of that position, haha! Lindsey Stirling's re-entry and Tove Lo's debut in the top ten kick out Shakira's "Empire" and Nico & Vinz's "Am I Wrong" from the top ten. The fall to 11 and 21 respectively. "Am I Wrong," in fact, earns the unfortunate title of Biggest Decrease of the Week. The song is starting to burn on me, so it may not have very good longevity and the chart's competetiveness might push it on a bit prematurely.

Below the top ten, Christina Grimmie smashes her way in as she rockets from 25 to 12 with "Feelin' Good" from her debut indie LP, With Love. This marks her third top 20 hit in a row following "Tell My Mama," number 16, and "I Bet You Don't Curse God," number 11. "Feelin' Good" has a strong chance of becoming Christina's first top ten hit. The song also gains a massive 4.3 points earning it the title of Biggest Increase of the Week. HAIM's "Forever" slips to 13 after being kicked out of the top ten for a second time last week. "Forever" does, however, gain in points this week meaning it's not dead yet. Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd leap to 14 with "Really Don't Care," earning the song a new peak. Tech N9ne and gang have had an interesting chart run with "Fragile." It's past few weeks' run has been 18-17-16-15! Cool! Lorde re-enters the top 20 with "Tennis Court" at 16. The song is getting closer and closer to outpeaking its original peak of seven when Pure Heroine was first released. Kamin's "Pulses" is kicked down from 12 to 17 this week. The Band Perry continue to bounce back and fourth between 20 and 18 with "Chainsaw" as it lands at 18 this week, up from, you guessed it, 20 last week. Kacey Musgraves is pushed down two spots to 19 with "Keep It to Yourself" despite gaining points. SoMo rounds out the top 20 with "Kings & Queens (Throw It Up)." Lorde and Christina Grimmie kick out SoMo's "Oh, Hell" and Nico & Vinz's "Am I Wrong" from the top 20. "Oh, Hell" falls to 28.

Below the top 20, Lily Allen earns a new peak of 22 with "Sheezus." Other songs earning new peaks this week include X Ambassadors' "Jungle" at 26, Iggy Azalea's "Black Widow" at 31, and Michael Jackson's "Love Never Felt So Good" at 32. Jason Derülo continues to "wiggle" around the 22-25 range with "Wiggle" as it rests at 24 this week. The chart also sees four debuts this week (yay, more competition). Debuting at 25 is Becky G with "Shower." This is Becky G's first chart entry ever. Debuting at 33 is Charli XCX with "Boom Clap." This is Charli's first chart entry as a solo artist, though she hit number one for two weeks last summer as a feature with Icona Pop on "I Love It." Debuting at 34 is Ty Dollar $ign, Wiz Khalifa, and DJ Mustard with "Or Nah." This is the first chart entry for Ty Dollar $ign and DJ Mustard, but it is the third entry for Wiz Khalifa following two featured credits. One on Maroon 5's "Payphone," which peaked at 5 two years ago and Mike Will Made-It's "23," which peaked at 19 just a few weeks ago. Debuting at 38 is Sam Smith with "Stay with Me." This is Smith's first chart entry as a solo artist but his second following a featured credit on Disclosure's "Latch," which peaked at number five just a few months ago. The four debuts kick out the two number one smashes "Let It Go" and "I Want It All" as well as "23" and "My Baby."

"Rather Be" spends a miraculous TENTH week at number one! Yes, that's right, "Rather Be" smashes its way to tieing up with Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" for longest stay at number one ever! It continues to fend off both Sia's "Chandelier" and Paramore's "Ain't It Fun," two songs that are smashing their way in the second and third positions. This week, Sia climbs back to number two as Paramore slips to three. Now it seems as if a third song has entered itself into the ring for the battle of future number one. Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea finally leave the number ten position and rocket up to number four with "Problem." Katy Perry's "Birthday" rounds out the top five. Ariana and Iggy knock out Lorde's "Glory and Gore" from the top five.

Below the top five, HAIM re-enters the top ten at number six with "Forever." It re-enters the top ten at a new peak position. "Glory and Gore" slips to number seven. Beyoncé's "Partition" also slips to number eight as "Shatter Me," by Lindsey Stirling and Lzzy Hale, slips to number nine. Rounding out the top ten is another top ten re-entry. Lorde's "Tennis Court" moves from 16 to ten as it continues its ascent as the new pop single. "Court" originally peaked at number seven when Pure Heroine was released. Lorde and HAIM kick out Tove Lo's "Stay High (Habits Remix)" and KONGOS' "Come with Me Now" from the top ten.

Below the top ten, Tove Lo and Hippie Sabotage slip only two spots to number 11 with "Stay High." Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd inch closer to the top ten as "Really Don't Care" climbs to 12. Christina Grimmie's "Feelin' Good" slips a spot to number 13. Tech N9ne and gang continue theri weird-ass run with "Fragile" as it climbs yet another spot to 14, a new peak. It's run for the past few weeks have gone: 18-17-16-15-14. Lulz. Entering the top 20 at number 15 is Shakira and Blake Shelton with "Medicine," becoming both artists' second top 20 hit. KONGOS slip eight spots to 16 with "Come with Me Now." Positions 17 and 18 are both new entries to the top 20. Becky G rocks in with "Shower" at 17 in only its second week on the chart. Lily Allen lands her fourth top 20 hit at 18 with "Sheezus." Kacey Musgraves remains at number 19 with "Keep It to Yourself." Rounding out the top 20 is Shakira with "Empire." It is this week's Biggest Decrease of the Week by losing 2.95 points. Shakira, Becky G, and Lily Allen knock out Karmin's "Pulses," The Band Perry's "Chainsaw," and SoMo's "Kings & Queens (Throw It Up)" from the top 20. They fall to 23, 24, and 27 respectively.

Below the top 20, Jason Derülo finally finds a new peak of 21 with "Wiggle." Other songs earning new peaks this week include "Jungle" at 25, "Or Nah" at 28, "Stay with Me" at 29 (earning this week's Biggest Increase of the Week by gaining 3.2 points), "Up in the Air" at 30, and "Boom Clap" at 32. It's also worth noting that SoMo's "Oh, Hell" has gained back two spots to 26 and even gained points! Though, that has most to do with the fact that two of my close college friends visited the past three days and "Oh, Hell" (along with current charters "Or Nah" and "Up in the Air") are songs that connected us in college, so they became jams for the few days (along with this week's Flashback Tune of the Week: Rihanna's "Only Girl (In the World)"). The chart also sees one debut at 36 from MAGIC!'s "Rude." This is their first chart entry and another song (along with "Stay with Me") that I learned the three of us all liked and became jams for the weekend.

"Rather Be" finally ends its ten week reign at number one as it drops to number four this week. Replacing the smash hit at number one is Paramore's "Ain't It Fun." Yes, I know, I'm late to this song, but I love it now and it deserves that number one spot. "Ain't It Fun" marks the second time Paramore has hit the top spot. They were number one, oddly enough, a year ago with "Still Into You." Hey, I was early with that one! It didn't really break out until September of last year, so... Also scoring new heights is Katy Perry with "Birthday" as she leaps from five to two and Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea also climb to number three with "Problem." Sia rounds out the top five with "Chandelier," though don't count it out of the fight for number one just yet. Songs two through seven are all within a single point of each other!

Below the top five, Lindsey Stirling and Lzzy Hale leap to a new peak of number six with "Shatter Me." Beyoncé also climbs back up a spot to number seven with "Partition" and even gains in points as well. Entering the top ten at number eight is Kacey Musgraves with "Keep It to Yourself." The song skyrockets from number 19 to number eight and earns the title of Biggest Increase of the Week by gaining 4.25 points! Why the big gain? Really, I don't know, haha! Anyway, this marks Kacey's fourth top ten hit in a row! Climbing up a spot to number nine is Lorde's "Tennis Court." The song is only two spots away from matching its original peak. Rounding out the top ten is HAIM's "Forever" which falls four spots. Kacey's entry into the top ten knocks out Lorde's "Glory and Gore," which falls to 15.

Below the top ten, Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd climb to 11 with "Really Don't Care." Behind them, Tech N9ne and gang finally climb more than one spot to number 12 with "Fragile." Tove Lo slips a spot to 13 as Lily Allen jumps four spots to 14 with "Sheezus." Becky G also climbs a spot to a new peak of 16 with "Shower." Both Christina Grimmie and Shakira and Blake Shelton fall five spots. "Feelin' Good" slips to 18 and "Medicine" slips to 20. Entering the top 20 at 17 is Jason Derülo with "Wiggle." The chart also sees a debut at number 39 from Imagine Dragons. "Tiptoe" enters as the rock band's fifth chart entry following four top 20 hits and one top ten smash. The song is not an official single, but the band did perform the song at the Billboard Music Awards back in late May. Of course, now that "Tiptoe" has debuted, the band's two new tracks from the Transformers film are starting to grow on me, so "Tiptoe"'s chart run may be short lived. Imagine Dragons' debut kicks out Beyoncé and JAY Z's "Drunk in Love."

And we have another new number one! Sia takes her first number one with the smash, "Chandelier," dethroning Paramore's "Ain't It Fun" and pushing it down a spot to number two. Below that, Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne's ten-week number one smash, "Rather Be," rebounds a spot to number three, pushing down Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea's "Problem" back down to number four, and it gains in points again this week! "Rather Be" is a sure-fire smash for my chart and looks to rival the likes of... yes... "Royals" as the chart king. This week marks "Rather Be"'s 15th week inside the top ten. Only three away from matching "Royals"'s 18 week run in the top ten. The record is Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble." at 22 weeks. Will "Rather Be" topple that record? "Royals" also spent 16 weeks inside the top five. "Rather Be"? 15. Yes, it sure looks as if "Rather Be" could be on the path to having a run similar to "Royals," which lasted 44 amazing weeks on the chart and became the most successful song to chart ever. Rounding out the top five, and a new entry to the top five, is Lindsey Stirling and Lzzy Hale's "Shatter Me." The song kicks out Katy Perry's "Birthday" from the top five.

Below the top five, "Birthday" sits at number six, falling from number two last week. Only one other song from the top ten last week remains, sitting at number nine. Lorde's "Tennis Court" spends another week at number nine as the intense competition near the top is keeping the song from besting its original peak of seven when Pure Heroine was first released. The rest of the top ten is brand new! Jumping in at number seven from 12 is Tech N9ne and gang's "Fragile." This is all artists' first top ten entry. Making a massive move from 25 to number eight is Iggy Azalea's "Black Widow," which features Rita Ora. This is Rita's first top ten entry and Iggy's second, following her featured credit on Ariana Grande's "Problem," which current sits at number four. Rounding out the top ten is Christina Grimmie's "Feelin' Good," which leaps from 18 to ten. The song is Christina's first top ten entry following two other top 20 hits. The three new entries kick out "Keep It to Yourself," "Partition," and "Forever," which sit at 11-13 respectively.

Below the top ten, Becky G earns a new peak at 14 with "Shower." Lily Allen's "Sheezus" falls two spots to 16 as the top 20 competition heats up. Jason Derülo and Snoop Dogg remain at 17 with "Wiggle." Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd take a hit and fall seven spots to 18 with "Really Don't Care," but the song is not down and out for the count yet. Tove Lo and Hippie Sabotage's "Stay High" slips to 19. The rest of the top 20 is brand new! Entering at 15 is Ty Dolla $ign and gang's "Or Nah," which zooms up the chart from 27 last week! It is Ty and DJ Mustard's first top 20 entry, but marks the third for Wiz Khalifa following his featured credits on Maroon 5's "Payphone" and Mike Will Made-It's "23." Entering at number 20 is X Ambassadors and Jamie N Commons' "Jungle," marking the first top 20 entry for both artists. They kick out Karmin's "Pulses" and Shakira and Blake Shelton's "Medicine," falling to 23 and 24 respectively.

Below the top 20, songs earning new peaks include Thirty Seconds to Mars' "Up in the Air" at 21, Sam Smith's "Stay with Me" at 22, MAGIC!'s "Rude" at 31, and Imagine Dragons' "Tiptoe" at 35. Charli XCX's "Boom Clap" was hit a bit hard by the monthly rolling effect and lost a few points, dropping it from 21 to 25, though the song is not dead yet. The chart also sees one debut at 38 from Ed Sheeran's "All of the Stars." The song is from the soundtrack to The Fault in Our Stars, which is also where Charli XCX's "Boom Clap" comes from. However, with the add from Sheeran's "Don't," I'm not expecting "All of the Stars" to have a long chart run.

Certifications are a thing of the past! As of this week, certifications will no longer be handed out to songs. It will take some time, but eventually the website will be edited to reflect this as well. I've decided that certifications add nothing to the song's chart history and does not reflect a song's success very well. You see, songs that are single from albums I already own usually end up with way higher certifications than brand new songs that have similar chart runs. "Chandelier" takes a second week on top of the chart as Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea bump up to a new peak of number two with "Problem." The race for the next number one is definitely heated as Lindsey Stirling and Lzzy Hale also climb to a new peak of three with "Shatter Me." All of this while Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora enter the top five for the first time with "Black Widow" at number five in only its sixth week on the chart! Paramore sit at number four with "Ain't It Fun." "Black Widow" knocks out Clean Bandits and Jess Glynne's ten week number one smash, "Rather Be," from the top five.

Below the top five, Lorde finally climbs to a new peak with "Tennis Court" as it jumps three spots to number six! "Rather Be" slips down four spots from three to seven. The rest of the top ten is completely brand new! Entering the top ten at number eight is Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd with "Really Don't Care." This marke Demi's fourth top ten hit from the Demi album and her fifth overall. This marks Cher's third top ten hit. It leaps up ten spots, but that's not as impressive as what comes in at number nine! Thirty Seconds to Mars make a HUGE leap from number 21 to number nine with "Up in the Air." This is the band's first top ten hit, and to be honest, seeing it reach the top ten this week completely shocks me too! I'm glad to see it happen, though. Rounding out the top ten at number ten is "Or Nah" from Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa, and DJ Mustard. This is the first top ten entry for Ty and Mustard, but it is the second for Khalifa following a featured credit on Maroon 5's "Payphone" two years ago. The three songs knock out Katy Perry's "Birthday," Tech N9ne's "Fragile," and Christina Grimmie's "Feelin' Good" from the top ten. They fall to 12, 13, and 16 respectively.

Below the top ten, Kacey Musgraves stays put at number 11 with "Keep It to Yourself." Becky G also stays put at 14 with "Shower." Beyoncé slips to 15 with "Partition" while Lily Allen also slips a spot to 17 with "Sheezus." HAIM also slip to 19 with "Forever" as Tove Lo drops a spot to 20 with "Stay High (Habits Remix)." In fact, the only song earning a new peak in the 11-20 range is X Ambassadors and Jamie N Commons' "Jungle" at 18. This also means that there are no new entries into the top 20 outside of "Up In the Air" at number nine. It kicks out "Wiggle" to 22.

Below the top 20, Charli XCX climbs back to her original peak of 21 with "Boom Clap." The Band Perry also climb two spots to 24 with "Chainsaw" as several songs fall below it. MAGIC!'s "Rude" climbs to a new peak of 27 this week. Imagine Dragons' "Tiptoe" is the only other song earning a new peak this week at number 32. The chart also sees three debuts. The highest comes from AJR's "I'm Ready" at 33. The song is the band's debut single and first song to hit my chart. It samples the famous "I'm ready" catchphrase from SpongeBob SquarePants. Debuting at 35 is Travis Barker, Juicy J, and Liz with "Live Forever." This is the first charting hit for Travis and Liz, but it is the third for Juicy J following the number one smash, "Dark Horse" with Katy Perry, and the top 20 hit, "23" with Mike Will Made-It, Miley Cyrus, and Wiz Khalifa. "Live Forever" is from the soundtrack to 22 Jump Street. Finally, debuting at 38 is Sam Hunt's "Leave the Night On." The song is the country artist's debut single and first to hit the chart. The three songs kick out Avicii's "Hey Brother," Christina Perri's "Human," and HAIM's number one smash, "The Wire."

So the original version of "Habits" has grown on me enough to where I believe I will end up downloading it soon. Now, here's my question: should I chart them separately or combine them together? I'm leaning towards charting them separately.

I combine them for the sake of chart space, but with the way your chart works and how different the two versions are, I'd chart them separately.
