People hated it the first month, now it's universally loved all of a sudden?! The sudden surge could have a lot to do with the mega promo he's been doing lately. And maybe the song is just growing on some people. |

Part of its bullet increase is due to the panel change still. Also, people who listen to the radio and people who download music aren't necessarily the same people. There is some correlation, but it's not exact by any means. High sales don't always translate into high airplay and vice versa. "Troublemaker" is actually #1 in callout scores right now for pop, so that's definitely contributing to its turn around. |

Was TS take off iTunes for awhile? One version is climbing fast at #11 and the other version, which is #63 after having zero bars. What gives? Both have been tracking in Top 20 for the past several weeks. Glitch?

"Heart Attack" has really slowed down the past few days. Odd; I thought it was going to have a fairly smooth ride to the airplay top 10 with the way it flew right out the gate. If it ends up having a gazillion stalls and 'second winds' just like GYHAB did...lol

If it ends up having a gazillion stalls and 'second winds' just like GYHAB did...lol I'm not surprised it's slowed down; it makes sense to me that after exploding out of nowhere it would need time to catch its breath and start moving like a regular hit. It just takes time for callout scores and such to come in, and it also takes time to prove longevity on iTunes; some PD's may be waiting for those. I think it will have another 1.5 weeks or so of comparatively slow updates like this before taking off again. |
