Sad to see Uptown Funk most likely missing #1, but I guess #2 isn't that bad. :( Alabama Shakes and Smallpools debuting is awesome, hope to see them rise.
Also AWOLNATION can hopefully continue moving upwards, along with Happy Idiot, Long Way Down, SBTRKT, and Saint Motel. Keep the charts coming, always love reading yours weekly! :)

Zebra's Top 100 - February 15, 2015 - Week 90, Week 7 (Repost)
Commentary: I'm actually on time! Haha. Sorry for bombarding you all with tags in such a short expanse of time. "Love Me Like You Do" holds at number 1 for a 3rd week. It becomes the longest running number 1 since "Your Love" held the top spot for 3 weeks in October. "Uptown Funk" holds at number 2 and it may have just lost its chance at hitting number 1. Why? "Style" advances from 4 to 3 and is looking like my next chart topper. "Say You Love Me" slips from 3 to 4. "Heartbeat Song" continues its slow gains this week as it inches from 6 to 5. "Girl Crush" jumps from 10 to 6. It is also a contender for my next number 1. "My Type" inches from 8 to 7. "Gunshot" falls from 5 to 8 while "Doing It" holds at number 9. "FourFiveSeconds" is the lone top ten entry this week as it advances from 13 to 10. It's Rihanna's first top ten hit since "What Now", Kanye's first since "E.T.", and Paul McCartney's first overall. Seven songs debut this week. The highest debut comes from Florence + The Machine's "What Kind Of Man" at number 13. It is her first charter since "Spectrum (Say My Name)" in late 2012. The next highest debut comes from Years & Years's "King" at number 72. It is Years & Years's first chart entry. Fifth Harmony debuts at number 76 with "Worth It", which features Kid Ink. It becomes Fifth Harmony's 4th chart entry and Kid Ink's 2nd. Fifth Harmony has previously charted with "Miss Movin' On" (no. 35), "Bo$$" (no. 21), and "Sledgehammer" (no. 3), and Kid Ink has previously charted with "Show Me" (no. 89). Nick Jonas scores his 2nd chart entry with "Chains" at number 85 and Alabama Shakes scores their 2nd chart hit (I believe) with "Don't Wanna Fight" at number 86. Smallpools debut at number 89 with "Karaoke". Tori Kelly debuts at number 100 with "Nobody Love". "Habits" watch: HABITS DROPS OUT. It's a sad, sad week. It ended up spending 57 weeks on the chart, debuted at number 1, and became my number 1 song of 2014. I never would have guessed that it would be this big of a hit. Let's take a moment of silence as we reflect on it's chart run: :'( 01-02-02-04-05-06-11-15-15-14-19-23-20-23-27-35-42-51-58-60-50-37-39-38-34-26-25-25-35-43-59-62-82-79-62-57-52-47-53-64-88-48-43-49-48-49-47-46-41-53-56-65-68-84-79-83-85-OUT Slay high. :'( Bubbling Under watch: I'm not sure how many of these will debut next week, but I'm fairly certain that at least "Uma Thurman" and "Right Here, Right Now" will. Recurrents watch: The Mamas & The Papas score a number 1 with "California Dreamin'". The Beach Boys, Bon Jovi, The xx, and Fleetwood Mac also have exceptional weeks. I hope "Style" is your next #1 only because I'm pretty over "Uptown Funk" now. Cool to see "FourFiveSeconds" go top 10 and "Go All Night" top 15. I notice a lot of smaller moves this week but I'll take it (I'm looking at you Calvin songs). ;) Great increase for "Wish You Were Mine" and "Say Something"!!! Sad to see "Right Now" drop. "What Kind of Man"!!! <3 Also glad to see "King" and "Worth It" enter the chart along with the other four. I mean, your debuts are perfect this week - not a single miss for me. (thanks for making "Karaoke" happen - I'll take that as a dedication to me!) I would still love to see "One Last Time", "Somebody" and "Get It" debut along with "Right Here, Right Now", "Desire" and "Lay Me Down". Great chart as always!

"Love Me Like You Do" VS "Style" = it's been really great watching Ellie dominate, but I think I'm ready to see Tay take over now. I'm all about fast turnover on top, especially when it gives several songs that I like the chance to shine
"Heartbeat Song" = Top 5 = awesome. I've ended up liking this more than I initially expected, but I've still got high hopes that her next single ("Invincible"?) will really slay my soul
"Doing It" = I just downloaded this a few days ago, and I'm liking it. I'm not a MASSIVE Charli fan (I only know "Fancy" and her last 3 solo singles...oh, and "I Love It", of course), but it'd be nice to see her get at least one more hit of her own here in the States. this does seem to have more hit potential than "Break The Rules" (which I also liked, but didn't LOVE)
"FourFiveSeconds" = well, even if this doesn't have a chance of ever reaching No. 1, Top 10 status is still something to celebrate. so it's her first Top 10 since...her last single ;)
"Living For Love" = Top 40 = great
"Talking Body" = new peak = awesome! this tumbled off my chart really quickly, but I started getting back into it over the past week. it seems to be building momentum in the US, so hopefully it'll earn her another Top 40 hit (though it'd be nice to see it go even higher than that, of course)
"Chains" = glad to see this debut. like I said with Charli + Tove, I hope this nabs him another big solo hit on the Hot 100
RIP "Habits" :'( I've been over it for a while now, but I know it was an epic monster mega-smash on your chart, so it's a tad sad to see its era come to an end

I'm all about fast turnover at the top 2 also, and it cuts a lot of runs short because I just love too many songs. :'( Re: "Heartbeat Song" - "Invincible" is great (have you heard it?) but at the moment I still think I prefer "Heartbeat Song". Excited for the album though! Re: "Doing It" - Exact same. "Doing It" is better than "Break The Rules" and I hope it performs better too. Re: "FourFiveSeconds" - You forgot "Jump", boo. It peaked at like 45 lmao. She's usually quite consistent though. Re: "Talking Body" - It would be nice to see Tove not be a solo one hit wonder, wouldn't it? Re: "Chains" - It looks as if it's off to a promising start, so yay. I prefer it to "Jealous". Re: "Habits" - Same. :'( Thanks, Paul! <3

Zebra's Top 100 - February 22, 2015 - Week 91, Week 9
Commentary: Taylor Swift jumps from 3 to 1 with "Style". "Style" becomes Taylor's 6th no. 1. It follows "Love Story", "You Belong With Me", "I Knew You Were Trouble", "Shake It Off", and "Blank Space". "Style" pushes "Love Me Like You Do" to no. 2 after a 3 week run at no. 1. Kelly Clarkson advances from 5 to 3 with "Heartbeat Song". Kelly's had 2 previous no. 1 hits ("My Life Would Suck Without You" and "Already Gone"), but can she do it again? We'll see. Little Big Town jump from 6 to 4 with "Girl Crush". It thus becomes their highest charting entry since "Little White Church" hit no. 1 in mid-2010, and it's looking more and more likely that "Girl Crush" will match that peak. "Say You Love Me" continues its slow descent from no. 1 as it slides from 4 to 5. "My Type" inches from 7 to 6. "Uptown Funk" finally starts to suffer from overplay and takes a tumble from 2 to 7. It didn't hit no. 1, but it'll likely be represented well on my year-end chart. "FourFiveSeconds" inches from 10 to 8, which allows it to become Rihanna's highest charting entry since "Pour It Up". Carrie Underwood jumps from 14 to 9 with "Little Toy Guns". It thus becomes her 1st top ten hit since "Two Black Cadillacs" (also a no. 1). "Go All Night" also enters the top ten as it moves from 15 to 10. Both acts are relatively novel to the top ten. It becomes Gorgon City's 2nd top ten hit ("Ready For Your Love" hit no. 9 around this time last year) and Jennifer Hudson's 1st. Passion Pit scores the highest entry this week. "Lifted Up (1985)" enters at a lofty no. 15, instantly out-peaking all of their other entries except for "Take A Walk" (which hit no. 1 in early 2013). Otherwise, it's a rather light week for debuts. The next highest debut comes from Years & Years with "Desire" at no. 80. Annie Lennox scores her 1st chart entry with "I Put A Spell On You" at no. 81. Giorgio Moroder and Kylie Minogue enter at no. 88 with "Right Here, Right Now". The last 2 debuts come from Natalie La Rose's "Somebody" at no. 98 and Maroon 5's "Sugar" at no. 99. Perhaps I should look into some new music. Bubbling Under: "Pay No Mind" is looking to debut next week. "Get It" and "Earned It" may also see a chance to debut. Zedd and Selena's "I Want You To Know" is also likely to debut. Recurrents: Elton John, Johnny Cash, and Michael Jackson have fantastic weeks. Well, I haven't made comments on this for a while, but looks like I can make them now First of all, your Top 2 is so great. It's sad to know that "Love Me Like You Do" falls from the top spot, but "Style" is a good replacement from that spot, so I'm not complaining. Also, "Go All Night" reaches the Top 10! That's amazing Good to know to see "What Kind of Man" and "Unbreakable" (Oh! I wasn't expecting to see this in other personal charts besides the ones from Kurt, Adam and mine #shamlesspromo :kii:) in the Top 20, while the debut of "Lifted Up (1985)" at #15 is awesome. Of course, I'm rooting for this. Also, that leap of "Chains" and the new peaks of "Happy Idiot", "Spark the Fire" and "Pray to God" (Top 40, YES!) are so great as well. Oh! "Outside" rebounds. Yay! Cool to see you're charting and to see new peaks of "Wish You Were Mine", "Say Something", "Long Way Down", "Talking Body", "King", "Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)" and "Nobody Love". Moreover, the debuts of "Desire" and "Right Here, Right Now" are so good too. Having said that, it's weird to see "King" entered before "Desire" (only a week, but still) when the latter came first. Finally, it's sad to know that "Happy Little Pill" leaves your chart, but it's great to see "Pay No Mind" in the BU area. This has to enter ASAP!

A lot of great Elton John & Michael Jackson songs you got there. "Missing" by Everything But The Girl is one of my all time favorite especially the famous Todd Terry Mix. Also great to see The Beach Boys, Johnny Cash, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Fleetwood Mac and more. Also happy to see Ellie Goulding in the top two. I just recently added the ATB remix of "Love Me Like You Do" on my chart.

Re: "FourFiveSeconds" - You forgot "Jump", boo. It peaked at like 45 lmao. She's usually quite consistent though. well...forgot/don't count that unofficial Australian-only-radio-only "single" ;) but regardless of its single status, I'm sad to see that it flopped so hard here! I wasn't all "ZOMG IT MUST MUST MUST BE A SINGLE AT SOME POINT" like some fans (people kept ripping on poor "Right Now" for being unoriginal/cliche/overdone, while "Jump" just recycles the hook from another big hit), but it's definitely one of many enjoyable moments on that album aaany rate, on to your current chart: "Style" = YEEESSSSSS! while this song's ascension to No. 1 isn't a shock after your hints/spoilers, it's still really wonderful to see two awesome awesome AWESOME No. 1's back-to-back, and now we've got our first truly-shared No. 1 hit everrrrr (well, that I know of) so it's Tay's 6th No. 1, eh? for comparison sake, she's managed 15 on mine so far (including IKYWT, SIO, BS, and of course "Style.") if I'd been compiling a chart back in '08, "Love Story" and YBWM definitely would've been chart-toppers for me too "Heartbeat Song" = ideally, this or FFS would be the one to de-throne "Style" (though, as much as I love turnover, I love "Style" so much that I want to see it spend at least a couple weeks on top first.) you haven't said much about its chances, so I guess we'll be in for a surprise "Chains" = woah, lovin' the MASSIVE jump for this one! I actually prefer "Jealous" to this, but I definitely still like this and want to see it do well here. it's off to a REALLY great start - hope that's not a tease! "Spark The Fire" = I'm not a huge fan of this, but it's funny to see it still chugging along here (while the rest of the world has completely 5gotten about it/never knew about it in the first place.) totally the Little Engine That Could...well, the Little Gwen Turd That Could "Feeling Myself" = I downloaded this a week or so ago, and I was hoping to like it more than I do. it's not terrible, but I thought that these two could come up with something that hits a bit harder. hooray 4 masturbation, though "Talking Body" = well, it's not exploding like "Chains", but at least it's still movin' on up. go, go, go! "Right Here, Right Now" = awesome to see this charting somewhere! maybe I can take a little/all the credit...? ;) it actually wore off me really quickly, but I'm always happy to see Kylie smashing anywhere, so I hope it has a brighter future on your chart "Somebody" + "Sugar" = very glad to these debut, I've been enjoying both of them over the past couple weeks (I liked "Sugar" when V first dropped, and I've really gotten back into it lately.) "Ring Off" + "One Last Time" need to debut ASAP ~

Yesssssss @ "Style" hitting #1! Great choice to de-throne a great run by Ellie Goulding. Love, love, love seeing seeing "Little Toy Guns" break into the Top 10! And I'm glad to see Kelly Clarkson, Little Big Town, and Rihanna all moving up in there as well. I hope Jake Owen can get in there soon. ;) Happy to also see great showings for the country songs: "I Got the Boy," "Lay Low," "Better Than You Left Me," "Say You Do," "Raise 'Em Up," "Going Out Like That," "Fly," "Diamond Rings & Old Barstools," etc. I dig the big jump for "Chains" this week, too! Slay Nick Jonas!

Re: "Style" - YESSSS at our first two shared number ones! They're excellent if I say so myself. 15 number ones? How crazy! Re: "Heartbeat Song" - It won't be this one! :'( Re: "Chains" - Not a tease! It'll keep going. Re: "Spark The Fire" - LMFAO at the Little Gwen Turd That Could. Re: "Feeling Myself" - They could've, but it's still perf. <3 Re: "Talking Body" - I think it'll at least be a minor hit! Re: "Right Here, Right Now" - Sure, you can have the credit! Maybe it'll be a minor hit. Re: "Somebody" + "Sugar" - Glad you enjoy them! Re: "Ring Off" + "One Last Time" - Not quite yet! Thanks Paul! <3 ^ yes pls debut "Ring Off"! My favs are "Love Me Like You Do", FourFiveSeconds", "Doing It", "Got It", Unbreakable, Talking Body, Nobody To Love, Chains, Stuck On A Feeling, Worth It, King & Shut Up and Dance, so yay to all those! Soon! Glad that you like those! Thanks Invince! <3 Yesssssss @ "Style" hitting #1! Thanks! All of those move up besides Kelly, but I think you'll like one of the new entries. ;) All of the rest keep rising too! Thanks, Indulge! <3 It's been awhile... but I see your musical tastes are still amazing. Love Love the Top 5 and most of your selections. I see the recurrent chart has also expanded. Nice job, Zebra dear. Musicguy! That's such a sweet comment, I really appreciate it. Thanks! <3 A good chart, and great recurrents! Thanks DJDaveMick! :)

Zebra's Top 100 - March 1, 2015 - Week 92, Week 10
Commentary: Taylor Swift earns a 2nd (and likely last) week at number one with "Style". "Girl Crush" advances from 4 to 2, thus causing "Love Me Like You Do" to fall from 2 to 3 and "Heartbeat Song" to fall from 3 to 6. "My Type" jumps from 6 to 4 and "FourFiveSeconds" moves from 8 to 5. "Type" and "Seconds" push "Heartbeat Song" and "Say You Love Me" out of the top 5. The latter falls from 5 to 9. Jake Owen scores his first top ten hit this week as "What We Ain't Got" jumps from 13 to 8. Passion Pit scores their second ("Take A Walk" peaked at no. 1) as "Lifted Up (1985)" jumps from 15 to 10. "Electric Love" is this week's greatest gainer as it flies from 71 to 13. Elsewhere, 10 songs debut. The highest debut comes from Carly Rae Jepsen at number 27 with "I Really Like You". Look for it to become a sizeable hit in the coming weeks. Kacey Musgraves nabs the 2nd highest debut as she storms in at number 53 with "Biscuits". It hasn't been officially released yet, but I just couldn't wait haha. Tinashe finally charts a follow-up to "2 On" as "All Hands On Deck" debuts at number 78. Behind it, Imagine Dragons' "Shots" and Ty Dolla $ign's "Drop That Kitty" debut at numbers 79 and 80, respectively. Jack U & co. also debut at number 82 with "Take U There". The last four entries make their start at the tail end of the chart. Madeon & Passion Pit leads the pack with "Pay No Mind" at number 97. The Weeknd finally debuts with "Earned It" at number 98. Nate Ruess makes his solo debut with "Nothing Without Love" at number 99 and Matt & Kim debuts at number 100 with "Get It". Matt & Kim thus earn their first chart entry since 2009, in which they sent "Daylight" to number 4 and "Lessons Learned" all of the way to number 1. We'll see if they can follow suit almost 6 years later. Bubbling Under: Expect "I Want You To Know" to enter next week. Recurrents: Fleetwood Mac dominates again! Oh, and instead of a number ones ranking I'll wait until I hit 100 weeks and do something special for that milestone. Great to see "Style" get another week at #1! Hope Little Big Town can get there next week though. "Girl Crush" isn't one of my favorites by them, but I just love LBT. Love that Jake Owen made it into the Top 10 this week too, just like I'd hoped he would! Yay @ "Little Toy Guns," "Lay Low," "Better Than You Left Me," "Going Out Like That," "Feeling Myself," "Raise 'Em Up," "Fly," "Diamond Rings and Old Barstools," "Worth It," "I Bet," and "Love 'Em All" all moving up this week. <3 And yesssssss to that debut from Kacey Musgraves! I see your hype for the new release has transferred well to your chart already.

I love "Style", glad it's doing well. I hate to listen to "Girl Crush", I'm sure I'll like it. "Love Me Like You Do" should stop falling tbh. Also, rooting for 45S. Poor "Heartbeat Song", it fell rather quickly. "What Kind Of Man" doing well. <3 Poor "Uptown Funk", that's a big drop. "Brooklyn Baby" should slay. I know it will. Glad to see "I Really Like You" charting so early. "Pray To God" c'mon do something. :'( I see "Feeling Myself" started doing well. I love you for charting "Ink". It may be my second favorite song off Ghost Stories. "Hypnotic" should do better. I see we are both slow with "Talking Body". Oh "King" charting. Where's "Desire"? :( (12 spots lower, found it :'( ) Rooting for the debuts between #78-80 and also "Take Ü There". Hope "Right Here, Right Now" becomes a big hit.
Fantastic recurrent #1.

"Style" = YES! this is exactly what I wanted to see apologies if I've asked this already, but what's Taylor's longest-running No. 1? I know SIO and BS only managed a single week on top, but what about LS, YBWM, and IKYWT? "Heartbeat Song" = aw, slightly sad to hear that this will never be No. 1...but it's never going to No. 1 on my chart either, so I can't be too hard on you for making that call ;) FFS = Top 5 = awesome. meanwhile, TTS barely makes a dent on the Bubbling Under chart :kii: "I Really Like You" = debuts inside the Top 30 the day before it was actually released = AWESOME! so so glad that you'll be stanning for this one. it's pretty much definitely my next No. 1 "Biscuits" = woah, is this the lead single from her next album? I had no idea this surfaced! I may hold off on checking it out, since it would just get lost in the Carly + Kelly shuffle this week, but I'm very nervous/excited to hear what she's come up with "Talking Body" = Top 60 smash = awesome "Right Here, Right Now" + "Sugar" = both gaining = awesome...though I'd love it if they picked up the pace even more! nice to see you gettin' nostalgic for TEOG. sometimes I wondered what that era could've been if they had re-structured (aka shortened) the album a bit, made TEOG the lead single and title track (seems like a pretty awesome album title, TBH.) I definitely enjoy BTW just the way it is, but damn did it torpedo her career :'(
