"Abysmal" would be debatable; it certainly was chock full of R&B/hip-hop. Among that top 10, I liked "Frontin'" most, followed by "Where's the Love." "Baby Boy" was alright (not a patch on "Crazy in Love)," as was "Unwell."

I love/like all those songs from 2003 except "Damn!" I can't recognize it..
"Baby Boy", "Unwell", "Where Is The Love?", "Shake Ya Tailfeather", feels like I'm in 7th grade again. :'(
"Get Low" was a bop as well.

#8. Drake will pass her for sure. I'm sure she'll go back to #7 next week jumping over "Holy Grail".

The 80's were definitely the best decade of music... 1988 and 1989 I would say are the most memorable for me since I was in High school. We had Debbie Gibson and Tiffany as the 2000'shad Britney and Christina and this week in 1988 NKOTB had their first top 10.

Over on the Digital Songs chart, history is made. The top three songs each sell in excess of 300,000 downloads for the first time outside of the Christmas holiday season. Lorde's "Royals" jumps 3-1 with 307,000—up 17% for its first week at No. 1 and best sales week yet. Behind her is Katy Perry's "Roar," which holds steady at No. 2 with 301,000 (down 10%) and Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball," down 1-3 with a little more than 301,000 as well (down 37%). (The sales of both titles have been rounded to the nearest thousand. "Wrecking Ball" is behind "Roar" by a margin of less than 1% in sales.) The top three songs on the tally have each moved 300,000 downloads in six previous weeks, but all were during the post-Christmas time period. That's when digital song sales are extraordinarily high thanks to consumers redeeming just-received gift cards. Perry has a second song in the top 10 this week, as her new track "Dark Horse" (featuring Juicy J) bows at No. 4 with 194,000. Right behind it is Avicii's "Wake Me Up!," which slips one rung to No. 5 with 189,000 (down 6%). Britney Spears' "Work B**ch!" debuts at No. 6 with 174,000 downloads. It's the first single from her forthcoming studio album, due in December. Comparably, her last album's first single, "Hold It Against Me," launched with 411,000 in January 2011.Lady Gaga's "Applause" is down 13% this week, slipping 5-7 with 160,000. Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" (featuring Majid Jordan) is steady at No. 8 with 150,000 (up 5%). Eminem's "Berzerk" descends 6-9 with 147,000 (down 11%), and Jay Z's "Holy Grail" (featuring Justin Timberlake) moves 7-10 with 134,000 (down 8%). Digital track sales this past week totaled 21.9 million downloads, down 1% compared with last week (22.1 million) and down 7% stacked next to the comparable week of 2012 (23.5 million). Year-to-date track sales are at 954.3 million, down 3% compared with the same total at this point last year (986 million). www.billboard.com/articles/news/5725173/jack-johnson-scores-fourth-no-1-album-on-billboard-200

I'd say it's about a tenth of a percent separating them. Wow!

No decade of music will ever top the 60's for me. Changed the entire landscape of popular music. <3 I agree. Music (and life) in the US changed more between 1960 and 1969 than at any other time in our history. And no other top ten in this thread can even touch that 1968 week listed above: October 5, 1968 TW LW WK 01 01 04 Hey Jude - The Beatles (2 weeks at #1) 02 02 07 Harper Valley P.T.A. - Jeannie C. Riley 03 05 05 Fire - The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown 04 20 08 Little Green Apples - O.C. At this rate, Roar is looking to possibly sell around 5 million once its done seeing as how it'll probably benefit from the X-mas gift cards.

So Katy Perry's ROAR sold another 300k+ sales again huh.... Isn't a record too for a song? I think Roar is the very first song to earn 300k+ sales for 6 consecutive weeks since it's debut..

so Wrecking Ball dropped 37% in sales while Roar dropped 10%, does this mean Roar might have #1 back today?

It depends on the streaming numbers, Miley still has an advantage there. I think WB will keep the top spot, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them flip.
I'm curious in seeing where Roar will end up on the Year-End chart since its accumulated so many points in such a short time. Could she possibly make the top 25?
