is anyone else having a problem multiquoting on their phone? well they should send dark horse for jan- apr birthday for apr-july this is how we do july-oct legendary lovers nov-feb walking on air and/or ghost. Here's what I'm thinking to be katy's singles line up... 1. Roar 2. Unconditionally 3. Dark Horse 4. Legendary Lovers 5. Birthday 6. International Smile 7. This Is How We Do 8. Ghost ------ 8 singles is enough for this era.... but songs like Double Rainbow and Walking On Air could also be singles too... yeah no rerelease necessary itll most likely end up between 850-900k+ by the end of this month. 2014 should be about getting this 2x platinum. we all have our own preferences and opinions which we are entitled to but i do wonder if you think legendary lovers would actually work as a summer single and international smile as a winter single though...

Just my thoughts but I doubt there'll be more than 4-5 singles as there's no record to achieve this time.. Her string of #1's from this album is already broken so they might as well deal with 4 singles and 1 from a re-release or sth. But we'll see.

Not that I think this album has any chance of the record, but the record that Katy tied with Michael Jackson was most number ones from an album. It said nothing about them having to be back-to-back. The other record was most numbers ones in a row for a female (Whitney Houston), which was broken a long time ago with "The One That Got Away."

I was referring to the idea of string of #1's urging to release a single after single.. Unconditionally doesn't go top ten and I doubt that Dark Horse can reach #1 so 3 or 4 singles AFTER that seems a lot to me. But if the album sells, why not.

I'm sure that Capitol will MAKE at least two more 3X platinum+ singles from this album. "Dark Horse" is already 1/3 way there, then the album sells more than 2M (til late summer for sure) they'll drop the ball.

I doubt this album will go more than 5 hits deep. We're already 2 in with the third to really strike after the holidays. There may be a re-release but maybe not.
I bet Katy takes a break after this era. Which reminds me, I need to go make some predictions for 2014!

Will "Who You Love" hurt Dark Horse, what do you think? Probably not.
Just saw that the video is out.

Surely it was sent to radio though? It was so urban, even produced by Darkchild iirc.

"Holler" was promoted/released; it peaked at No. 14 or so Bubbling Under. And the video made top ten on TRL and The Box (raise your hand if you know what that was!).

8 singles on an album is too much after 4-5 singles they will stop buy them or buy the album Plus Katy perry will Most likely realise another album in a year or 2

It's a nice enough song that can do well on radio, but i have it ridiculously connected to Barney Stinson from HIMYM that i cant take it seriously. Not fussed about Birthday. International smile is cheesy as Fück, but enjoyable and fits the mold of her TD singles so it should do very well.

I doubt she would record an album much less release one in a year or 2 though. I would guess 2016 would be her next album...maybe late 2015 if she wants to keep the taylor swift october releases every other year thing going then. I'd like her to return to her summer roots. I need another summer smash from her.

So if you take away all of the voice performances dark horse is at 9. Will she just officially release it?

Or maybe just transform herself into a living, breathing Dr. Luke track and continuously send herself for adds at pop radio?
