They also just posted another teaser on Instagram, saying "Our final #CMAfest LP Field superstar has everything she needs for an all-American summer. She’ll let you know her summer plans this Tuesday!" It has to be Carrie. |

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of Carrie's 'Idol' win. So much has happened since then, and I'm so thankful to be a part of it. Millions of albums sold, #1 singles galore, 5 CMAs, 11 ACMs including two Entertainer of the Year trophies, a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2008, 8 American Music Awards, 17 Billboard Music Awards, 11 CMT Awards including five Video of the Year trophies, 7 People's Choice Awards, and the list goes on and on. Can't wait to see what's to come in the next ten years, it's been a hell of a ride so far!

With her being in the studio, I'm feeling really good about that fall 2015 release. We're ready, Carrie! With the promotion they have lined up so far, it seems likely. CMT Awards, Opry, and CMA Fest seem like opportunities to get Carrie back into the media a little bit, remind people of what's been missing since Christmas time... I think a Fall date is likely, but I could see them waiting until Spring like last time. With that said, they may have missed some opportunistic holiday sales last time, and they may want to get this out in time to capitalize on the buying season this time around. We'll see... So excited, nonetheless! It's been over three years since we've had a new album... hard to believe! |

Considering the fact that the CMA Fest special airs in mid-August, it wouldn't shock me if she debuted a new song at the festival in June and they use that as the TV debut of the song in August. Also, update from her studio keyboardist Jimmy Nichols. |

Carrie actually looks a lot like Dolly there. If Dolly hasn't already cast someone to play her in her upcoming autobiographical movie, she should at least see if Carrie is interested! I'm sure if scheduling allowed, Carrie would love to do something like that. Carrie is always up for a challenge, and it could be a really smart career move.

I still listen to "Blown Away" about once or twice a week. That song (and album) are her best work so far. I hope that she continues in that direction for the new album.
