What I was trying to say they're hopping on his songs. Blurred Lines, Get Lucky, now this. Rihanna generally gets large updates for every one of her (radio friendly) songs. I don't recall what We Found Love's radio updates were, but I feel like they were quite similar (it was the #1 radio song for it's year) Edit: However we can't really compare the updates numbers' wise i suppose, as We Found Love (from what I've re-read in its' weeks) didn't have the benefit of the recalibration that allowed songs to gain such numbers daily.

7 million streams for Dark Horse from the two official Vevo videos alone! I think it will get a 5th week at #1 for sure and block Happy from the top spot again...no surprise though really as it was pretty obvious that the new Dark Horse video would get a lot if views in its first week

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Have you seen how far below Pharrell's sales Katy has been for the last week?
He's rapidly catching up to her in airplay as well.

I mean...who's getting "happy" behind the scenes for Pharrell's song to have increased 13M in two days. LIke WTF
Seriously though
I want to say that it could eek another #1 this week and then Happy most likely it's has it for months. I wouldn't mind seeing Katy's next single Birthday (hopefully) replace Happy...you see what i did there...corny but still That or 1st singles from Rihanna, Adele, Nicki Minaj or Taylor. People who appreciate good music? people who have a good ear? People who listen to music and feel it, like get into the music Β instead of those who unnecessarily use music to write essays and bullet points that nobody is "happy" about. I wish i would have seen this a couple of days ago...yes at you acknowledging my essays while writing one yourself...my impact is undeniable. Music is subjective by the way ;)

wasn't 2004-2007 all r&b/rap? when "crunk" was popular.

Yes, there were very few pop / Rock tracks in the top 10, and almost none reached #1.

Care to elaborate? The performers posing as Milli Vanilli did not perform even the littlest bit of their music. It was a fraud. They had to return their Best New Artist Grammy.

GOD BLESS! I just had some fun going through this to find the most recent Hot 100 that doesn't contain a song that I actually own, and it's this one: old-charts.com/charts90/pdf1990USA/Wk50_Dec15.pdf. The next week, "All the Man That I Need" debuted.
