So if Black Eyed Peas didn't dominate with Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling for 26 weeks straight, Best I Ever Had a seven week #1, Party in the USA would be a 2 week #1, Poker Face would be a 9 week #1, Down would be a 6 week #1, and You Belong With Me, Knock You Down, Blame It, I Know You Want Me and Run This Town would be #1 for a single week.
Their reign was amazing, they decimated the competition.

To this day I'm so grateful for the BEP that PITUSA never reached #1! Pretty glad about YBWM not reaching it either. Though I would've liked KYD, BI, and RTT to have reached #1.

How much does a song have to sell to debut on the Hot 100 with only sales ? about 40 k ? 48k digital is about 4k chart points so it's enough if there's no airplay and streaming. |
