I'm going to come back tomorrow. Modding BB seriously has me questioning my sanity, and my attention was focused there tonight. Now, I see lots of things have happened here since I last posted (exciting!), but it's late and I don't have it in me to do much analysis right now.

I would like to examine Max's role claim more, which is why I have unvoted him, especially since he was at L-1. I don't like how quick Codex was to come in and vote for Max without explanation. Codex was an early suspicion of mine. And he never addressed my vote for him on D1 - no defense, nothing. And then summoning Josh to hammer is weird too.

So, yeah, this is a vote I feel I can agree with - Vote: Codex

Oh Lord this is a mess. I just read through the past few pages and I kept thinking people were going to get lynched because they were at L-1 but then they didn't. And we have less than a day.

Max's playing has been reallllly scummy (I finally see it with the Landmarx vote switch), but his role claim also seemed believable. Ugh, I don't knoooww.

usually people who come at me for playing bad on purpose are scum, that was my strategy in early games and usually worked

also the reason I died day 2-3 in every game up until the SuperLaLaLa era when I decided to be more tame

I disagree. Max's role claim is so specific that I'm inclined to believe he's town. popstop has done more analysis than in past games and he's the one I was most sure about being town right from the get go. I don't buy your excuse.

What a strange strategy? Wouldn't anyone and everyone come at you for playing bad if you were making very questionable moves that could negatively effect town? It seems to be you're trying to displace the target by using us to explain your poor gameplay. So if I do get lynched and it turns out I am in fact the role I said I was, the target is going to be on you for day 3. And how will you get out of that one?

Well, this is interesting! Max, this actually makes me think you might be telling the truth about your role claim.

And I agree with Max's commenting on your "strange strategy" - Max said it better than me - how does "playing bad on purpose" help town?

Ok, so a couple thoughts. Multiple people including myself thought Max's sudden role claim meant that he was town because it was oddly specific. But did anyone think about the safe claim? Those are normally very specific and are sometimes roles you don't hear everyday. I just feel like a role claim shouldn't be the only thing that makes him seem like town instead of scum.

And not defending his strategy, because it's ...erm, weird to put it nicely... but I actually believe Codex. Just because - he was such a detailed player when he was scum in Snowtrapped mafia. I feel like he wouldn't be playing this bad if he had something to hide. :kii: But I won't rule him out.

A few thoughts:

Codex - Your gameplay is weird. You jumped on Max (and wanted a hammer) without really even reading into it and you are quieter than is the norm for your game. I'm keeping my eyes on you.

Max - Bandwagons and random rushes to try to get people to hammer. This is really striking me as odd. You did role claim though, but I'm still going to leave my vote on you because it could have been made up. I'm not sure. Your gameplay is really erratic.

Lahey - Quieter than is his norm. Also, he is being requested in the game and he hasn't showed up yet. He could be hiding under his inactivity.

Cynthia - Good at driving conversation, analysis. She is definitely giving me town vibes.

Popstop - Pushing conversation, wants people to post in the thread. He also strikes me as town as he seems to really want to further town's gameplay.

Drag - I never really found Drag suspicious, and he seems to want to get the game moving. I really think he is town.

Landmarx - Cynthia said she had a "connection" to him and I am leaning town with her. If I believe her connection then he is probaby just really busy.

Josh - Questioning of suspicious things, although I don't remember his last post. I'm going to have to read the thread over again. I need to see more from him.

Ginger Spice - He has bouts of inactivity (don't we all) but when he does post here he really seems like he wants to further town along. It seems different then that strategy he had in Snowtrapped when we were scum partners.

Icant - Icant is hopping on bandwagons, but I can't get a read on him because he is so new to this game. He is striking me as nervous and unsure town at this point though.

Zebra - Me.

We could look at it this way:

I get lynched, I flip town. You turn your focus to Codex because he jumped at the opportunity to get me out without having actually read anything. I realize I did pretty much the same thing with Landmarx so in that sense I'll give Codex a slight benefit of the doubt. I would say it just depends on whose lynch would give the most useful information. If I'm lynched and am town, what's next? If Codex is lynched and he's town, what's next?

Luckily (maybe for both of us), our roles are mutually exclusive like they were in snowtrapped, otherwise I'd offer myself up to be lynched if it proves that Codex is mafia. Unfortunately, I don't think anything could be gained from lynching me other than finding out that I told the truth.

Ok, so I should be back in time to catch up if anything changes. As of now, my vote is on Codex and I'd be content with that but I know the last few hours are usually the most eye-opening so something could very well change.

As for my erratic behaviour, I hate giving excuses ever since Kunt called me out on it a few games ago so it feels like a cop-out. I've been more focused on Big Brother than here this time around (sorry Kunt) but also because there was no night kill for night 1 that Day 2, to me, feels like an extension of Day 1 with no solid information to work from. My vote being on Codex is nowhere near satisfactory for me when I seriously vote for someone but as of now, he's the most likely target for me. Plus it's harder to get my head in the game when so many people are inactive. I don't know whether I should go for someone I'm suspicious of that no one else is, or to go for someone who is inactive that has votes already. That's why I've been switching back and forth.

If Laheyoncé doesn't post by the deadline, I think it's safe to say he's probably gone. The scary thing is that there's a good chance we might not get to lynch someone by the deadline, and that is bad 95% of the time.
