Listened to the songs.
First song is forgettable. I don't even remember the title.
"Ain't Goin' Out Like That" is really good. I liked it more than I expected. Sounded like updated, classic Reba. YAY!
"Enough" is outstanding! I mean, just WOW. I hope this sees some radio airplay as it could be the vocal event of the year.
Overall solid effort and I look forward to hearing the rest of the CD. Reba is a treasure.

I was actually quite surprised how much I liked, "Enough." All three are great. Excited to hear the rest of the album.

Maybe it's the excitement of Reba making a return, but I had a song of her's stuck in my head all day and I have no idea how or why this one popped up. Call this a throwaway post I suppose, but I had to put this thought somewhere haha. Glad to have some new Reba music making its way to us soon.

I never closed out my browser so I can still listen to the songs on the poll. I will never restart my computer until the CD is released. Ain't Going Out Like That is great. I like it when lyrics are not sacrificed on up-tempo numbers. It would be a solid hit for a successful artist today so I hope Reba can at least make a dent in the charts with it. Of the three, it's the best choice for the first single. Speaking of lyrics, I really like the lyrics to Love Somebody. The melody and arrangement are quite different but I love the feel of the chorus. Enough has that late 90s Reba sound melodically but it sounds way over-produced to me. It's good but I think it's the type of song that would be great live.

At the beginning with the clapping I just don't like the sound. I feel like the production on this song and Enough is way to much, Reba has a powerful and unique voice and the production at times takes away from that in my opinion. Same with Enough. The production needs to be toned down. You have two powerhouse vocalists Reba & Jennifer and every chorus I feel like could be so much better and in like the last 50 seconds (or so I think) at the end of the song the vocals sound great, it gives me chills. But I want that feeling all throughout this song.

"They're in the midst of mixing [the album] right now, but my part is finished. The new single will be out in January, and the album will be out in April."

A January/April release plan sounds perfect to me. It seems like the setup for this is very well thought out so far.

They have apparently selected "Going Out Like That," ExtremeReba reports. The single will be available digitally starting January 6.
