Taylor Swift’s “1989” returns to number one on the Top Albums chart, despite a 13% sales decrease from last week, with 71,000 units sold. It is the lowest one week sales total for a No. 1 album since July when Sia sold 52,000 copies. It is the album’s tenth week at No. 1, Swift’s second album to spend at least ten weeks at the top, following “Fearless,” which topped the chart for 11 weeks in 2008/2009.
Ne-Yo’s “Non-Fiction” has the top new entry this week at No. 2 with 49,000 units sold. All six of his albums have reached the top ten and it is his highest charting album since “Year Of The Gentleman” entered at No. 2 in 2008.
Sam Smith’s “In The Lonely Hour” jumps 11-4 with a 22% sales gain and Ed Sheeran’s “X” rebounds 10-5 with a 2% increase.
Bethel Music’s “We Will Not Be Shaken” debuts at No. 9 with 30,000 units sold. It is the Christian collective’s first top ten album, surpassing the No. 28 peak of their last release, “Tides Live,” in March 2014.
Charlie Wilson’s “Forever Charlie” enters at No. 10, his fourth top ten release. Other new entries in the top 30 include Papa Roach No. 11, Periphery at No. 15 and No. 16, Twiztid No. 17, George Ezra No. 20, Punch Brothers No. 23 and Lone Bellow No. 28. Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” remains at the top of the Digital Songs chart with 365,000 downloads sold, up 7% over last week. It pushes its release-to-date total to over 3.2 million downloads.
In its first full week of sales activity, “FourFiveSeconds,” from Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney, jumps 19-4 with a 160% download increase. The song debuted last week after just two days of sales.
Radio AirplayMark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” jumps 3-1 at Rhythmic with the biggest spin increase at the format this week. The song holds at the top of the CHR chart for the second straight week.
Beyonce’s “7/11” jumps 3-1 at Urban. It is her 11th solo single to top the format chart and her first since “Partition” spent three weeks at No. 1 in April.
Hozier’s “Take Me To Church” moves 2-1 at Hot AC. He is the fourth male solo artist to reach the top of the Hot AC format with his first charted song at the format in the last year, following Sam Smith, Pharrell and Passenger.
In its 31st week on the chart, Maroon 5’s “Maps” takes over the top spot on the AC chart. It is their first No. 1 song at the format. Their new single, “Sugar,” has the biggest spin increase at Hot AC this week, moving 18-15, and jumps 23-15 CHR.
“FourFiveSeconds,” from the trio of Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney, has the biggest spin increase at two formats, debuting at No. 25 Rhythmic and vaulting 37-25 CHR. It is also the top new entry at Hot AC at No. 34.
The Decemberists’ “Make You Better” jumps 3-1 at Triple A, their first chart-topping single. Two songs debut in the top 20 on the Alternative chart this week. Death Cab For Cutie’s “Black Sun” comes in at No. 16, matching their highest debut to date with their lone No. 1 song, 2011’s “You Are A Tourist.”
Awolnation’s “Hollow Moon” enters at No. 18, easily their largest debut to date. They scored three top ten songs from their debut album in 2011 and 2012.
Foo Fighters’ “Congregation” is the top debut at Mainstream Rock at No. 28, their follow-up to “Something From Nothing,” which spent 13 weeks at No. 1.

CountryThe top four remain the same on the Top Country Albums chart, with Sam Hunt’s “Montevallo” holding at No. 1.
Hunt also holds at No. 1 on the Country Digital Songs Core Genre chart for the second straight week and third overall with “Take Your Time.” Thomas Rhett’s “Make Me Wanna” leaps 10-3, his highest chart peak since “It Goes Like This” reached No. 2 in October 2013.
Luke Bryan’s “I See You” jumps 2-1 on the Country Airplay chart. It is his tenth chart-topping single. Five of his six charted songs from his latest album “Crash My Party” have reached No. 1.
Florida Georgia Line’s “Sun Daze” edges 4-3, Thomas Rhett’s “Make Me Wanna” moves 6-4 and Randy Houser’s “Like A Cowboy” jumps 7-5.
Zac Brown Band’s “Homegrown” picks up the biggest audience increase of the week, moving 23-19 with a 5.8 million gain. For the second straight week, Keith Urban’s “Raise ‘Em Up” scores the biggest chart move, vaulting 40-28.
Three songs debut on the chart this week, led by Florida Georgia Line’s “Sippin’ On Fire” at No. 55. Mo Pitney’s first charted song, “Country,” enters at No. 57 and Old Dominion’s “Break Up With Him” lands at No. 59.
